"great hotel bad neighborhood"
my bed was to small your site had all the queen beds as rented out but then we got there there were only two other rooms rented,i have to wonder if i had stayed with wynham would this of happen.

The mattress was a little firm for my tastes but the room was very clean, huge television. Would stay again, great value for the price.

The room served it's purpose. Just a stay overnight. Although we were put next door and across the hall from the noisest kids in the world. We made the best of it. The bed was truly hard...the shower had mold...and leaked water all over the bathroom floor. The fridge would not close properly. We survived.
The ironing board was broke and so was the iron. We had to change rooms because the tv was not showing a clear picture in the first room! The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work either! Beds were very uncomfortable and there was a nagging loud noise appeared to be coming from the heater??? Not really sure but it was a horrible stay!!

The coffee in the lobby tasted like the machine needed cleaned really bad. Made the coffee and hot water taste like mustly and moldy. We had to leave every morning to go get coffee which was a hassle. Also the front desk man was very weird. He was never at the front desk and it took him forever to get there. Pool and hot tub clean. "Okay for the money"
Keeping in mind that this place is less than half the cost of a hotel at CP its good for the money and close to places to eat and shop to and from the park... with that being said the room was clean and free of odors.. the bed wasnt the greatest but after a day of fun in the park you will not notice... the bathroom was mostly clean aside from a little […] mold inside the shower along the caulk-line.. nothing to stress over... the breakfast was good but the dinning room fills up fast on a busy day so go early... they could do a better job with coffee tho... We stayed here with our friends after a day in Cedar Point. After looking at probably 15-20 other hotel reviews, picked this one because of all the positive comments about a nice clean place to sleep--and that's what we were looking for. Room and hotel was clean, and super close to Cedar Point which is what we wanted after a longggg day!

The best thing about this hotel was the water pressure. It was great. Also, an effort was made to keep everything clean, that was also evident. Now for the problems. Each day we were there (three), we told the front desk the fan did not work in the bathroom, as well as a large gap in the shower door (think large amounts of water on the floor). None […] of these issues were addressed. Another room WAS offered the last day, but at that point, we were leaving the next morning ! Also, an outdoor pool is advertised. There is no outdoor pool, only an indoor one. It IS nice, and well maintained. Don't think you're going to get the advertised bottled water out of the machines - you'll get a mega-club brand instead. Breakfast is on the house - if you can get down there before the employees raid it. First two mornings we came downstairs to find heaps of bread, fruit, donuts etc. on the table in front of employees, and only fruit left was a couple of bruised bananas. There IS internet access. "CLEAN PLACE TO LAY YOUR HEAD"
WE NEEDED A HOTEL FOR A LAST MINUTE TRIP TO CEDAR POINT - FOUND IT ON HOTEL.COM - REVIEWS STATED CLEAN AND CLOSE TO CEDAR POINT. WAS EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED NO FRILLS JUST A NICE CLEAN PLACE TO STAY AFTER A LONG DAY AT THE PARK. EASY CHECK IN - BATHROOM REALLY TINY BUT WAS FINE FOR US.

The room smelled. We had to go get bath towels. Staff was not very welcoming. Beds were not comfortable. Pool was being closed for clarity reasons. Spa was being shut down for other reasons. This hotel served the purpose, but nothing above and beyond.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights in July. The room was dirty (there was garbage on the floor and on top of the toilet bowl) and there was mould in the shower stall. When I spoke to the woman who worked at the front desk she was very rude. However, when I showed the cleaning staff they were very understanding and nice. This hotel was convienently located close to the highway, near Cedar Point, and right next to Applebees. My bed was fine, but the other adult in the other room complained that the bed was too hard. Person at the front desk clearly did not like his job. Was very unprofessional in commenting negatively about the hotel and his job. The pool area is very small and I have never seen such a small hot tub at a hotel. Room was small with very uncomfortable bed. The pool was nice and comfortable. The rooms are nice. The breakfast was wonderful! You must try a waffle if you stay here :) I think it was way over priced for the quality of hotel but I would stay here again if we needed to. The front desk lady was NOT friendly. I asked for non-smoking room. We got to the room and it smelled like smoke and the sink […] had cigarette burns. I went back out to the front desk and told the lady that my 3 year old has severe asthma and is she sure the room is non-smoking. She looked at me annoyed and said, "yes I am sure." Thank god the little one got through it fine but I know the lady lied. There was no tub in the room just a shower but a large shower. There was mold on the shower door base which is another asthma hazard. Over all it was a nice stay. The pool was crystal clear and 84 degrees. This hotel is close to the expressway, many restaurants and shopping opportunities such as a mall, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. It is also one of the ONLY hotels in the area with an indoor pool giving you a nice back up plan in the event of inclement weather during your trip. It is about a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point, making this a very convenient place […] to stay. Our room was nice and tidy. The bathroom was a bit small, however, and in our room, the toilet paper holder was not installed properly so you could very carefully place the roll of toilet paper on the holder but if you tried to take pieces of paper, it would pull the toilet paper roll off and it would fall on the floor. For the price and being around all the local attractions, you can't beat it. Great experience!
Was a very nice hotel - only bad thing was that it was a little loud. We were on the bottom floor and could hear a lot of noise. But overall, was comfortable.

We drove up to enjoy the evening at Cedar Point and the hotel was a perfect compliment to our vist. Great location, service and the jaquzzi was perfect after a long day of walking. Would go back!

Checked in late checked out early. breakfast was good, room was clean. so over all nothing to complain about. Was a little pricey for a run of the mill hotel room. I chalked it up to holiday weekend price hike.

We were in Sandusky just for Cedar Point so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The coffee maker in the room didn't work but that wasn't a big deal since there is free coffee by the breakfast food in the morning. The beds were a bit lacking too but not bad. "Good Room, Good Location, Good Price!"
Clean rooms are my first priority and I was quite satisfied with the Sleep Inn Sandusky. The beds were comfortable. The free breakfast was great. Hotel staff was very efficient and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

no bathtubs, showers only. Need better tv's. Very friendly staff. Especially the lady that runs continental breakfast.
