My wife and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui for the second time. It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. The rooms were great and the staff was outstanding. I especially want to thank Jessie (from Ohio), Robert and Brian (Bellmen), Mary Lou (our Housekeeper), and Shane (Front Desk). The best part of our trip was staying at this hotel. Excellent room and excellent facilities. If your looking for a relaxing holiday, then this is the place to stay.

It's awsome!

My wife and I had stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Maui about 10 years ago and loved it. The grounds are beautifully manicured and give you a true sense of the tropical surroundings. However, the hotel itself has not been updated since. UNTIL NOW! They could have let us know the hotel is under construction on their website or when we booked the reservation. […] From what we were told they are reinforcing the foundation that is sagging so the entire front entrance is blocked off and you enter through the very far side of the hotel. No big deal but check in desks are set up in an office and it’s a long walk to the rooms. There was scaffolding everywhere and the lounge area in the middle, overlooking the ocean, is closed. We took our 3 kids this time for a Thanksgiving week trip and told them how fun the pool was. They looked forward to this part of the vacation. Boy, were they disappointed!! Granted it is a tropical climate, but come on Hyatt you can at least heat the pool a little. The pool was very cold and dirty. It was a bit windy but no one ever cleaned any of the leaves or trash out of the pool or off the deack area and it was quite noticeable. There is an outside bar but apparently they do not employee a waite staff as we were not offered a drink in two days of sitting by the pool. The most enjoyable part of the pool for the kids was the water slide which kept them busy, and us happy, for the first day. To top it off, for some reason the hotel decided they were going to close the water slide because it was a Monday and they were doing maintenance. Again, you could have let us know this. The kids were not pleased and neither were we. The pool bar also sold food which was great for the kids. They got cheeseburgers with fries or mac n cheese for $6.95. However, for an adult burger, which was not much bigger and no fries, it was $18.95. YES, $18.95. We realized this is a resort and you are going to pay more, but come on. We ate kids meals. A lovely hotel which was undergoing renovations, which affected the location of the parking (a long walk from our room). Unfortunately, this was not disclosed to us during the booking process. The hotel is conveniently located and the staff were wonderful. Particularly notable was the included breakfast in the Swan Court.... A fantastic spread!

Hotel was under construction and they did not say this on the site, or when we booked. During construction you will walk a mile to your room. This is typical overpriced hotel, you can get better rooms, or a condo for half the price and not have to deal with the big resort attitude. Typical American resort, poor quality overpriced food. Our stay at the Hyatt Regency was up there with the best hotel my wife and I have ever stayed, at. The location, its setting, the service, rooms, the pool and gym... You name it, it was all class. The hotel and employees provided an exemplary experience. The hotel was under construction and Hotels.com did not list this on their website. I was a little let down that we were not warned of this.

Clean room, very helpful staff, would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is outstanding. The Son-Z restaurant was overpriced and the food not so good. Worst steak I have eaten in my life. Other than the restaurant the facilities and service could not have been better.

This is a quality property and the service is very good. Nice location too. A couple of observations - it would be helpful to introduce a coffee shop/bistro style outlet for light meals/snacks versus the more formal dining options. Umalu (poolside) is fine but has a somewhat limited menu offering. The "Starbucks" outlet is only open until 11am so no […] option for a late evening cup of coffee/dessert. The only issue is that the Grotto bar closed too early and the Coffee bar could be open longer.

Nice hotel. The only complaint I had was the lack of parking. It was a battle everyday to find a parking spot and to valet was $18.00 a day.

Paradise within paradise--hotel is beautiful, grounds and pool areas are amazing. Enjoyed the luau. Activities for kids and friendly staff. Expensive, but everything is in Kaanapali! Appreciated the trolley to Whaler's village. Beach is a bit rocky, reef close to shore so not great for boogie-boards.

What a great experience! The entire time was incredible. This resort made our trip all the better. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the services were wonderful, the food in the restaurants was great and the view was awesome. After walking down the beach and seeing the other resorts, this is without question, my favorite. The pool is perfect for […] a couple or for a whole family. i stayed here for 3 days and had a amazing time....good service. love being able to se the beach from the pool.

We had a great stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived to this hotel with the inviting vibe of the tropical ground and the friendly staff, we felt so welcomed. have stayed here numerous times, but this time was a disappointment. The management staff has really fallen off in terms of service. They screwed up our check-in on numerous fronts and caused an hour of wasted time. I'd advise anyone to stay at the Westin, just up the way.

The tropical garden impressed us - very well kept. The building itself is quite old but still looks nice with all the flowers and palmtrees. You realize the age of the hotel when you look at the room doors and the bathrooms. But the view and the surroundings are fabulous. We also enjoyed the retaurants.

Our stay was our honeymoon, and we couldn't have been happier. The suite had a full ocean view on the top floor and also had access to the Regency Club which had a daily breakfast bar, two hours of evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres followed by an hour of cocktails and dessert. Each evening there was a bed turn down service with chocolates. The service […] and view was spectacular. This is a wionderful hotel - it had everything my family needed from the delicious buffet breakfast to start the day, the beach to relax and good food at night. Also not far from Lahaina if you want a change of scene

Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Hyatt Regency. We had a Deluxe Ocean View room and it exceeded our expectations. The room was large, comfortable and had enough conveniences to make a 6-night stay relaxing. When enjoyed the porch outfitted with a small table and two chairs, which overlooked the ocean and the resort. The $15 daily resort […] fee is worth it. Where else can you see penguins, parrot and African cranes on your way to the pool? All the pools were nice, but get there early to reserve your chairs. It seems the Hyatt lets people lay their towels (large, green towels that you get with your towel card each day as part of the fee) down early to reserve their spot for later in the day. That was our only issue with the resort. We enjoyed our stay, our room was updated and a nice beach was only a 10 minute walk away. The beach on the hotel property is too small, but the walk didn't bother us. Downtown Lahaina, Maui is only 10 minutes away with the best shopping and restaurants on the island. What a trip. This hotel is great. You have a nice beach, shopping, and a snorkle spot just a short walk away. Staff was great. We had a memorable vacation and hope to stay there again in a year or two.

Hotel was great but they didn't mention the daily resort fee which was charged to the room for each day of our stay. It was a significant amount to pay when you are not expecting it. If you need to book any activities, I would talk to Jeffre at the concierge desk. Thank you Jeffre. There isn't much of a beach to lounge out on. If you want to spend the day on a beach, go a few hotels up north or just book at the Sheraton Kaanapali. Real nice beach there. The Hyatt is geared more towards Honeymooners. There is a pool area for kids so families can hang out there. All in all, it was a great hotel to stay at for my wife and I for our 10 year anniversary. it was just really nice, class and overall a perfect hawaiian stay.

If you enjoy a pool area, this is the best in the area by far. Rooms a tad dated but not bad. Great views.

We stayed at the Maui Hyatt for just a short time, but it was awesome. We booked a nice but standard room, but when we arrived, we were upgraded to a top floor ocean view with a view. Amazing views of Kaanapali coast, Lanai and Molokai, with the incredible pool below. A romantic hotel, but good for families too. The poolside bistro is OK, not great. […] But then we swam in the huge waterfall pool until midnight and relaxed in the spa next morning. Amazing bed, amazing view, beautiful spa. Highly recommended. I initally booked this hotel because I heard it had the best pool ever - waterslides! When we got there, it totally blew my mind. The pool was on 1/2 an acre, included a swim-up bar, and there were plenty of pool chairs available (not the case at another hotel we stayed at). The main lobby was breath-taking. We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel... The pool and amenities were fantastic. If we ever come back to Maui, this will be our hotel. It was also very close to Lahaina for shopping and activities. This very much felt like what a top notch resort should feel like. We were a little nervous when we read reviews that there was a very small beach […] front and there were not enough lawn chairs at the hotel. However, we did not realize that this hotel was at the beginning of the hotel chain on kaanapali beach, and that they had paved walkways along the beach connecting all the hotels. So, although we had a small stretch of sand, a 2 minute walk on the paved walkway led to a large open portion of the beach. Also, there were plenty of chairs available, so the hotel obviously read some of their reviews and fixed this issue. Staying on Maui, and this hotel, was the highlight of our trip. Uzziniet vairāk

無線LAN無料と書いてあったが、速度が非常に遅くて使い物にならない。 有料LANは有線のみで意味がない。 いまどき無線LANの使えないホテルはいらない。 二度と泊まらない。

今回はいい場所（８Ｆシーサイド）に泊まる事ができたので、ホテルステイは気持ちよかったです。 至る所にジャパニズムを盛り込もうとされているのですが、それなりなので頬がゆるみます。大人用の（？）スライダーの場所がわかりにくいですが、それを探すのも一興。ペンギンやらフラミンゴなど子供が喜びそうな脇役もいて、それでも喧噪とは無縁の波の音が綺麗なホテルです。 ラハイナが一番近いリゾート街なのですが、車で１５分ぐらいはかかります。タクシーを拾う事は大変なので絶対にレンタカーは必需品です。

Das Hotel befindet sich an der Kaanapali Beach. Die Anlage ist sehr schön mit allen möglichen Annehmlichkeiten (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten/Spe/Poolanlage etc.). Das Zimmer war enttäuschend, das Bad und Balkon winzig. Hotelservice sehr nett. Strand sehr gross, windig und steinig.

Dieses Hotel war das beste Hotel was wir jemals hatten und wir reisen schon sehr viel um die Welt und übernachten nur in den besten Hotels. Dieses Hotel war besser als ein 6 Sterne Hotel in Istanbul, besser als ein 5 Sterne Hotel in Monte Carlo, was wir hatten, besser als das in New York, Dubai, usw..... Wir waren einfach nur begeistert vom Preis-Leistung […] Verhältnis. Wir sind ein Ehepaar, 30 und 45 Jahre alt, ohne Kinder. Aber wir würden jederzeit auch mit Kindern dorthin, denn das ist ein Paradies auch für Kinder. This Hotel ist the best! We would recomend it for everyone, jung, old, with or withot kids! ９割海外の長期でリゾートを楽しむ観光客ばかりですので、英語が多少出来た方がより楽しめるかもしれません。庭やプール等のメンテナンスは整っていますので、快適にステイ出来ます。 ただ問題は駐車場。ほぼレンタカーで来られているので室料の割に駐車場は狭いです。夜食事を終えて帰って来てもなかなか空いてなくウロウロしたり、せっかく空いていても下手な止め方も多く車幅がNGだったりと苦労しました。 コンパクトカーで行く方が良いかもしれません。
