Marriott Denver City Center — Denver

Basically, all you get is the room. Hotels.com advertised the room as an upgraded room for four adults and a child, with a king bed and two ful size beds. The room was EITHER a king or two full size beds. Even with the two full size beds, not sure where the other people or child were suppose to sleep if needed. Not a whole lot of room for a cot, no […] pull out or room for one, maybe the bathtub? Not very spacious. Also, it was advertised as having internet included..not the case. Hotel is about 5 min walk to convention center.

We were in a standard room and felt a bit cramped. There's not much extra room apart from the bed and chair and I think it would be nicer it if were more open. Also there was no fridge. The bed was very comfy though!! Great location, walked to 16th st mall everyday in about 2 minutes.

We were on the highest floor of the property, and parties were raging in and out of rooms, into the hallways, etc. until 5:30 a.m. The property made no attempt to send security around to enforce some kind of order or civility. The following morning there were still beer bottles in the hallway and elevators at 9:30. On top of this, the mattresses were […] obviously cheap and worn-out; it was like sleeping on a saggy trampoline. Our family has stayed at many properties in the downtown area, and this is definitely bottom of the list. I would suggest trying the Sheridan, Embassy Suites, or Westin instead. Uzziniet vairāk

Itty, bitty bathroom but other than that, just fine. I'm hoping there was a splash of red wine spilled on our nightstand from a previous guest, but that is what I was telling myself. It also looked like blood.

We were very happry with our service and the hotel in general. Very friendly staff.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room was great. The only thing I would recommend is an in room refrigerator. Beyond that, the room had everything we needed. Also the staff was great, very helpful and friendly.

We stayed at the Marriott City Center on Friday night to watch the Parade of Lights. The hotel was right on the parade route and it was very convenient to walk right out the front door a few minutes before the parade started and then walk right back in to get warm when the parade was over. That said, the rest of the stay left a lot to be desired. We […] had two double beds which were crammed into a tiny room. The comforters on the beds were too small and only reached the edges. We had to register all 4 of us in the room but only had 2 towels when we got there. It took over an hour to get more towels. The pool was small, cloudy and there were no towels. I had to go down to the front desk to request more. The hallways had not been vaccuumed recently. The extra $13 charge to access wireless internet and $27 to park overnight were outrageous! The breakfast buffet was very tasty but $2 per person more expensive than listed on your site. This is a top-dollar 4-star hotel that was not worth the discounted price I paid on Hotels.com! The location is fantastic if you want to be able to walk downtown as we did. The room was very comfortable and the valet service was seamless. We were a bit aggravated with a few of their high priced services such as wifi and breakfast. During our trip we stayed at two other hotels in other locations around Denver. Both of those locations were less […] expensive and provided free wifi and breakfast. We had a nice stay but I really don't like having to pay extra for valet parking only at $27 and $12 for wireless Internet.

Hotel is just two blocks from 16th street mall. Nice lobby, quiet rooms, bathroom was somewhat small, nice room layout, and a starbucks in the lobby.

Very accomidating, convenient, and comfortable... I would stay there again and defiantely reccomend this hotel

Very nice and clean rooms with a new look and feel. As far as service goes, there is nothing they will not do for you. Parking is a little pricey at $27 per day.

We enjoyed our stay here but it was not as family-friendly as we were hoping. They'll hold your luggage if you arrive early. Concierge gave us a map and suggestions. The bartender in the lower level bar was nice, but the waiter however was rude. We recommend including the breakfast buffet package when you book. The restaurant staff was really friendly, […] we only had one rude waitress there. The fitness area was very nice but their business center was disappointing, $10 for 15 minutes of internet access unless you are printing boarding passes. I loved being close to 6th street mall. The Hotel had an indoor pool which was great when those late afternoon thunderstorms rolled in. Only thing I would change is that breakfast at the hotel was way over priced.

Beautiful hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Although, $27.00 for parking, $13.00 for internet service, and $17.00 for breakfast buffet is rediculous.

Nice hotel very quiet

When I made the reservations I was promised a top floor. When I arrived the person at the desk said that there was no record of this and in any event the highest room available was on the 8th - which seemed unlikely, but it was late and I was tired. When I checked out and remarked that I was promised free internet and that I was also being charged for […] it, they also discovered that I was promised 19th or 20th floor and was given 8th. Room was very clean, staff was very efficient, helpful, and accomodating. Coming down from the mountains and from an expensive resort area still the pricing felt a little uncomfortable. The rooms are a little tight and the bathrooms could use a facelift but all in all it was a lovely stay.

I had booked two room forty five days in advance. I requested they be on the same floor. When we arrived they were on different floors, we were told that there was nothing they could do. I had also requested refrigerators in both rooms which were not in them. Just frustrating really.

We stayed at the Marriot in Downtown Denver over Xmas day and evening. The hotel was very clean and nice. The hot tub/pool/gym area was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. The downstairs bar was a little pricy but the drinks and food were excellent. The restaurant downstairs is a different story; We went […] in for breakfast and the buffet was ICE cold. Uneatable food, check comes and it is for $38.00 for breakfast for two. Our plates were barely touched and in 2 minutes since we sat down; the waitress comes over and dumps an exorbitant check on our table w/o even asking how the food was. Our stay at the city center Marriott was a great experience. Check in was a breeze and every employee I encountered was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous! Will definately stay there again. Close to 16th st mall and the public transportation was simple to navigate.

Close to good dining and entertainment options. Clean upscale hotel with a great breakfast buffet of real food - omelette bar etc., not just a lousy "contenental" bagel and cold cereal. The Indianapolis Colts were staying there, and there was a lot of activity and fans around as they left for the game and such, good if you like plenty of activity, but […] plenty quiet once in our room. Short walking distance to the 16th street mall where there are many restaurants and entertainment. I thought it was a bargain, and would return. One note to ALL of the hotels - don't charge me $24 a night to valet park! I am perfectly capable of parking my own car and would prefer it. We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always had a great experience. The rooms are very comfortable and the restaurants have excellent food. The staff is accommodating and willing to help make our stay pleasant. We have stayed at a number of downtown hotels in Denver over the years during the NFL football season. We chose the Marriott due to location and reputation. Check in was uneventful, but we were provided with key cards to a room that was already occupied. This was discovered when we opened the door to a room that was dark, with the television, on and […] a startled teenage girl and her friend. The front desk apologized and provided us with another room. While the new room was okay, we did wonder if someone would gain access to our room while we were out. The hotel room was clean, but the decor is from the early 80's. The bed was small and the down pillows were not comfortable. The bathroom is also too small for what we would expect at a Marriott property. My kids liked the spa/pool area and the location was good since we like to visit the 16th street mall. Uzziniet vairāk

We received exceptional service at check-in and this continued all the way to the valets going out of their way to accommodate all our needs. The hotel's location was perfect.

Parking had to be paid for, which is typical of downtown hotels, and attendants were professional and helpful. Bell captain and clerks were very helpful and friendly. On the fourth floor there was considerable "street noise", but the room was otherwise very comfortable and pleasant. I had to spend sme serious quality time on a project and I couldn't do it at home or in the office (too many interruptions). The Marriott was a great choice to get away from all the distractions. The air conditioning was a plus, too! Charges for Internet connections were quite reasonable, relatively speaking. Lots of food and drinking options closeby […] on 16th Street. Uzziniet vairāk

The hotel was very clean, upscale decor, all ameneties, and a beautiful view of downtown Denver and the mountains. It was my first stay, I usually go to the Sheridan on 16th st. In general, a good experience. The rooms are tired and could use some updating. The bathroom is on the small side. For a Marriott, it was below their usual standards. The bar was nice and the bartender was friendly and engaging. The location is a bit off the 'beaten path' but easy to access the mainstream of 16th Street Mall.
