Only there or one night. Our stay wasn't bad I really done hane anything negative to say everyone was nice for the most par. We got in late and ran to the restaurant to grab a bite to go and the bartender seemed a little irritated that more people came in that's about it. Room was clean, nice view, no fridge or microwave though.

Great hotel! The bed had four different types of pillows, all different types! The bathroom was huge and the room very clean. The hotel was in walking distance to the trail that meanders around the water, so its great for runners. The location was also close to tons of little shops and places to eat. Overall, great hotel service and location.

Hotel was nice, clean, and modestly priced. The hotel is a little dated, but it's quaint either way. Couldn't check in earlier than 3:00 pm, when I requested an early check in. You're a little more than walking distance from Old Town Alexandria, but rather a quick cab ride.

We loved it. Very friendly and attentive....big hotel...you can opt to park on street really close rather than pay for parking....park right across from the school. Concierge was helpful as was front desk staff. Comfortable beds too

Rooms had no refrigerator. Had to ask more than once to get one, Also, they could have 0ffered free coffee and or continental breakfast. Did like the free shuttle and got excellent service from Ayisha when checking in.

I asked for a quiet room and specified that I did not want an adjoining room. Both rooms I reserved were adjoining (not to each other) so I had to return to the front desk and get new rooms. It took almost half an hour to check in. The heat did not work properly the first night so it was freezing. The second day I was there, the hotel staff repeatedly […] slammed the door next to where I was and I was woken up and could not go back to sleep at 6:30. One of the rooms had a very dirty bedspread with hair all over it but other than that the rooms seemed pretty clean. We got a good rate for a hotel in Alexandria through Expedia but given how noisy and badly soundproofed the rooms were, I would not stay there again. Front desk staff was pleasant but not very knowledgeable about the area. If you do stay here sign up for a priority card so you will get free internet access and reduced parking rates. There really wasn't anything special about the hotel. The restaurant/bar appeared to be its best feature. Granted, I was only there one night, arriving late and leaving early, so have limited experience to share. Bathroom amenities were disappointing (equivalent of Homestead Suites), and bed pillows were way too firm.

Stayed for a cheer comp over at the Gaylord. Great location. Adorable town with tons of restaurants a few blocks away. Room was neat and clean and updated. Beds were fabulous, comfortable and cozy. Pillows were soft:) staff accommodated us by giving us adjoining rooms with friends. Great value!

The female that checked us in to the hotel was wonderful and gave us free parking and goodies for my daughter. Later when I tried to call down for the front desk no one would answer the phone, I tried to call down twice and there was no answer. The evening on the second night of our stay there were protestors outside the hotel that were loud late into […] the night and that was one of the reasons I was calling down to complain. The hotel itself is fine. It is a little out of the way; I'm sure there are hotels in DC that are just as good, and priced similarly. I stayed here because I had a meeting right in the hotel. Just before I went to bed someone, somewhere in the hotel was smoking. The smell was was horrendous. Thermostat was very insensitive, making it very difficult to keep the room at the desired temperature. I was very unpleasantly surprised at the $20 per day parking charge, - with no warning. I was also very disappointed with free Wifi only in the lobby area - even then it was poor. I would not stay there again.

The room was fine, the pillows are really small and the room was quite cold even though we turned on the heat. We had two rooms on New Year's Eve. Right next to our rooms at around 3 am two or three very drunk guys started yelling and fighting and threatened violence. That room was a double bed room but had at least 5 people in it, way above what they […] are supposed to allows. We called the front desk multiple times but no one came up to do anything for 45-60 minutes. That is when the police came. They gave us one room for free but not the other. My daughter and I stayed here after a business trip. We walked to Old Town for dinner. Had a great breakfast at Extra Perks right next to the hotel and took a lovely bike ride along the river on the complementary hotel bicycles.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. My flight arrived early and they allowed me to check in a buy earlier, as I was exhausted from a cross-country red-eye. The property was clean, comfortable and quiet.

We waited in line for over 30 minutes to check in at about 6pm at night. I later realized we were lucky to get there at 6, because the people behind us had to wait even longer. There were only 2 people at the front desk and neither really paid attention to the line. While they did do their job, they seemed to work at a turtle's pace, causing everyone […] in line to become frustrated. Once we finally got our room keys, we went upstairs and got settled. We tried calling the front desk to call a cab for us, however halfway through our conversation the phone cut out. I had to then call from my cell phone and was put on hold for an unreasonable amount of time. I hung up and called back letting them know I was a guest in their hotel and our phone wasn't working. They apologized and told me an engineer was on the way up to look at our phone. The engineer never came. At around 4am there was screaming and yelling outside our room which seemed to last for over an hour, and no one was able to control the situation, causing us to get no sleep. When we checked out in the morning, I was told a $25 parking fee would be due. At no point in my stay did anyone ever mention parking wouldn't be included; if I had known that, I would have gladly parked on the street. Overall the room itself was fine, and served its purpose, however the service and reliability of the staff was below par making me not want to book with them again. Uzziniet vairāk

We enjoyed a great 11th floor view looking north to the capital area. The beds are not truly double by my standards. Two adults cannot comfortably sleep on them. I would not choose a "double" bed again. The breakfast was great! The shuttle service was good.

Staff unfriendly, Called front desk twice, was put on hold for a long time till I decided to put phone down. Second time I call, she didnt entertain my quick question, she said she's going to call me back but she didnt.

great except I got room service and paid cash, they tried to charge me for it again when I checked out and acted like they didnt believe me.. luckly I wrote on reciept I paid in cash.. Also they dont tell you untill check out that they charge 20.00 for parking....would have been nice to know before I made reservation//

The hotel was in a great location, close to downtown Alexandria. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking costs but is very convienent. The room was very comfortable and relaxing.

Very enjoyable stay. The frequent shuttle service makes up for the hotel's location. The breakfast was above average and the on-premise restaurant has outstanding food.

In order of my stay: The bus pick up was not very good. Waited just over an hour. Check in was fast. The room was large and clean (Rm1012). It was quiet but you do hear the flights as they pass over. There is a charge for internet ????? The bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was pretty good. Its not gourmet dinning but it is filling and the selection […] is varied. Staff was prompt in cleaning my room. The staff was nice and helpful. Getting a taxi takes about 10 to 20 minutes as there is no stand and they have to order you one. Check out was fast. Bus runs on the half hour and it seems prompt however they cater to the crews at the hotel. If there is not enough room you will get bumped so you might add an extra half hour. Over-all the hotel has about 5-10 years before it will need an over haul. Being in construction I notice little things that might not be noticed by a regular vistor. I would reccommed this hotel. The hotel was very clean. Although on the morning we were going to check out our room had no hot water for us to take a shower. Then when we went to eat breakfast, which was totally overpriced, $4.00 for a bowl of cereal, really!!!! the staff in the kitchen had a huge yelling match which we could hear plain as day. attended a professional mtg in the hotel so that was convenient. Finding it was tricky, but not familiar with the area. Lots of stop signs and turns. Did not explore area as a 1 night stay. Is supposed to be close to lots of clubs and entertainment.
