It was a perfect stay for a single night when visiting friends in the area for the day.

This hotel was one of the overnight stops on our road trip. It was a really pleasant surprise and the overall experience was one of the best ones during the two week trip. Easy to find, comfortable and big room, nice bed, A/C worked, clean. A lot of places to eat nearby. You could hear the noise outside a little bit but that didn't bother us. Besides the usual breakfast (coffee, toast, bagels) they even had oatmeal to make in the microwave and hard-boiled eggs. I took my family along on a business trip for the weekend. I called ahead to see about a late checkout for my day of departure as my family would need the room until I was back from a training. The person handling my call told me I'd have to speak with owner the following day (the day I would be checking in as scheduled). (I even told her that if it […] was a problem I would shift my stay back a day which would just mean we didn't stay the 2nd night but did pay for it.) She didn't suggest I do so and I have worked in hotels in the past and didn't foresee a big deal staying later into the day on a Sunday....Well, I was wrong...they insisted that late check out would mean noon and I needed something like 5pm. I was forced to pay for a half day which I really had to pursue. I guess I should be glad I was allowed to do that otherwise what would my husband and 3 children have done!? "Okay, not great"
Needed pet-friendly so were limited. Stayed here last year and was okay so stayed again. Bed was VERY comfortable and continental breakfast was good. Room had wallpaper that was starting to peel in places but otherwise fine. Location in a heavy industrial area -- yuck -- but it is what it is. Days Inn York Pa-close to everything. Right off Route 30 so very noisy in the morning. Shower would not get hot. Told front desk and they didnt apologize. They just smiled and nodded. I assume it was because everyone taking shower at once.

The place was nice. Hard to find the entrance. Off side road and signs were very small.The front desk was very accomodating, breakfast was nice.

The room was average, the staff was accommodating, the smell was not. the room had a musty, smokey, mothball odor. They sprayed and place a ozone machine in the room but to no avail. The second day they cleaned the room again with modest results. The grounds were covered with discarded clothing, bottles, paper plates and large amounts of cigarette butts. This hotel was clean but located right on RT 30 so there is alot of noise from traffic in the morning. During our stay there was a car alarm going off, a train and alot of braking noise from trucks on the highway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. "Had to change rooms"
Convenient location but the rooms had an odor. Room was supposed to be smoke free but the room smelled of smoke & moth balls. The office said they would change our room, but we had to take ALL of our luggage back to the office (1st fllor and no elevators) from the 2nd floor to get another room. The staff was very helpful to our needs. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and they had a room available for us. Thank goodness, for we had a party to attend and needed to get ready for. Just want to say thank-you for understanding our situation and helping us out to the fullest.

Consistent above average and friendly service - stayed overnight 3 weekends in a row. Only complaint was with their public restroom which could use some repair and cleaning, but no complaints with the cleanliness or comfort of their rooms. Would definitely stay again.

"Decent mid-level hotel in York"
Stayed 3 nights for Cabin Fever expo. Only complaint was that room card keys kept losing their data. Seems being in the same pocket as a cellphone screws them up. First time that ever happened. Breakfast was fine (waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, toast). Nothing fancy but stuff I like. It can be tricky to find at night since entrace is not on the […] main road. "Great Price / Nice Place"
Our room was clean and well maintained. If you stay, check in and turn on the heat before you go out and about. It was VERY cold when we checked in at 10PM. Will stay there everytime we come to York.

The hotel personnel were very nice and helpful. The location was perfect for our stay. The room itself was acceptable. Plenty of space and in good conditons, Rugs and furnitue were fine. The room heating and cooling system worked well and provide the necessary compfort. My wife and I stayed an additonal day and cehcked-out on Thursday 11/24/2011. My […] main concern was the follwoing: The bathroom in the room (109) was in need of repairs the wall paper was peeling away from the drywall. Consequently there was mold stains present on the exposed dry wall. The ceiling directly above the damaged wall paper was showing the same signs of flaking paint and mildew problems. I mentioned it to the hotel staff and check-out clerk on the morning of our check out 11/24/2011. Hopefully this can be repaired before the room is used again. We will be returning to York PA and would enjoy staying in the Days Inn once again since it does allow pets which is important to us. Uzziniet vairāk

"Days Inn York - bypass pricier Lancaster hotels!"
We booked a last-minute room through hotels.com after getting sticker shock from many of the other Lancaster hotels we'd called. (Even the 1-star hotels advertising cheap rooms in the PA visitor guides wanted double what they'd advertised.) My family of 3 just wanted a cheap and clean place to stay near Dutch Wonderland, and the York Days Inn we passed […] on the way fit the bill perfectly. Our first room was fairly bare-bones but clean and definitely met expectations considering the low price we'd paid. The customer service was excellent was excellent, when upon returning to our room, we discovered our neighbors having a very loud argument with language we did not want our child to hear. We made a quick stop at the front desk to ask if we could be moved a few doors down, and without hesitation or upcharge, the clerk moved us to a much larger room, complete with fridge and microwave, on the other side of the hotel. Because our expectations were exceeded, we'll be remembering the Days Inn York the next time we travel to Lancaster! Uzziniet vairāk

October 12, 2011. The rooms were open to the sidewalk which never makes me feel safe. The rooms were dingy. The alarm clock did not work - at least I had my phone to rely on. The shower was disgusting. The whole room smelled musty and old. I could hear every word the people in the next room had said. The price was not cheap but the hotel was! "Nice and clean and excellent service!"
We very much enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were attentive and called our room after check in to make sure we had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was excellent as well and the staff kept everything stocked and went out of their way to get some milk for my daughter when she asked!

What a scroungy place to be included in an otherwise respectable chain. Don't look too closely at the bathroom grout lest you find a viable biology project growing between the tiles. Bring hand sanitizer. Here's hoping we can get rid of that half star up there.

This hotel is very nice, clean and convenient to shopping and highways. The staff and housekeeping were very nice and pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. My only complaint i would have is that the tv satellite didn't work half the time. The tv was off more than it was on.But it did rain alot while we were there and all satellite dishes […] are like that when it rains. But all in all it was a very nice and clean hotel.
