"good location if you can stand the hotel"
Let me begin with the good stuff, cause there isnt that much. The staff is as accomodating as they can be. Very polite, courteous, and will do what they can, which unfortunately isnt much, but it isnt really the staff's fault. The location is great, as Union is a great street to get to downtown as well as there are plenty of places to eat nearby, and […] a 24 hour Walgreen's across the street. And the parking is free. And that's about all I can say nice about the place. We decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt even tho other reviews were bad. We called and they said they had a new hot water heater and remodeled rooms. Of course when we got there, we didnt get one of those rooms. We were told to get there before 11pm cause the overnight girl didnt know how to check anyone in. When we arrived, the front desk guy was laundering the towels and there were 5-6 people down there waiting for them. We were not satisfied with our room at all, but kind of didnt have a choice but to stay. We were afraid that our room wasn't clean, but we took the chance cause we were tired from a 14 hour drive. There's no continental breakfast, and the lounge is closed. The only ice machine is on the ground floor. Our 2nd night we were moved to a "remodeled room." In this place remodeled means painted. The night guy was supposed to leave a note for the morning clerk to move us. She says he didnt. Then she was supposed to leave a note for the girl who came in after her, and SHE didnt. They gave the room away we were supposed to get. My travel partner had to go stand at the counter to get them to get us a different room. It was after check in time but they were saying they had no clean rooms available. ?? We saw A cleaning woman, and they even told us on at least 2 occasions that they dont clean the rooms every day. We were told they wouldnt be cleaning our room til we left, and then we were told that they only clean a certain number of rooms every day. We took a nap in our new room, Uzziniet vairāk
