Embassy Suites Hotel Bloomington — Bloomington

This is a centrally located location with an excellent restaraunt and bar. The staff was very courteous and helpful. They don't advertise this on their website through embassy, but they do have a great shuttle service (don't forget to tip your driver) that will take you anywhere you need to go in about a 5 mile radius starting at about 5:30am to 11:15pm […] (Thanks Matt for driving us around!) The snack bar/coffee shop inside is open late (10p I think) The rooms are 2 room suites with a door between rooms, refrigerator/bar area (with sink), a secondary sink/vanity area in the sleeping room and a sofa bed. Breakfast buffet is above average, and they will make omelettes to order. Close to BestBuy, US Bank HQ's if your in for business. They have what appears to be a nice pool and fitness area, I didn't get to use them as I had to work some pretty long hours and didn't have time. All in all a great place to stay. Uzziniet vairāk

We were planning a girls' weekend, so we needed a room large enough for 4 ladies, a little kitchen area, close to shopping. Embassy had everything we needed for a great price! Plus, the free breakfast and free drinks/apps at the manager's reception and beautiful atrium area put it over the top. Will stay here any time I'm in the area.

THE HOTEL WAS WELL KEPT AND CLEAN. WE HAD DINNER AT THE PUB LOCATED INSIDE THE HOTEL AND THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD. MY ONLY MINOR COMPLAINTS WERE THE SHORTAGE OF TOWELS AT THE POOL DURING THE BUSY TIME. AND THAT THEY STOPPED STOCKING THE BREAKFAST EXPRESS LINE 1/2 HR EARLY. We have been staying in Embassy Suites for 25 yrs. We have never been disapointed. The Embassy in Bloomington is my favorite. I do miss the fact that you can no longer use the balconies in the rooms but I understand it is about safety.

Parking lot/location inconvenient; large gap under door to courtyard, which amplified outside noise; men's underwear under the sink when we arrived. Sleeper sofa very uncomfortable.

The hotel was nice. it seemed a bit older and the rooms seems smaller and not as updated as the other Embassy Suites in the area. I think the Manager's Reception/Happy Hour is too short and starts too early for most people to attend. That may be the whole purpose behind the time-frame.

Loved the spaciousness of the room! Really enjoyed the breakfast!! We have decided that we will no longer stay anywhere but an Embassy Suite hotel!

The sink in our bathroom had a crack in it , so we were unable to use that sink, good thing there was the sink in the bedroom. The cleaning peope left a bottle of cleaning supply in the bathroom, we had to quickly hide it, because we had 2 kids with us. The buffet was excellant.The front desk people were very helpful.

The management at this hotel dosen't get any better! While on the weekend it may be packed with quite a few families with childern, all you need do is ask for a room as far from the crowd as possible. They go out of there way to accomodate your request. The rooms are situated in such a way, in the corner units you don't hear a sound. I just had A very nice experience at an Embassy Suites in Denver. So, I thought I would stay at one in MSP and enjoy the experience again. Not the case. The floors (carpets) were FILTHY. The hotel staff NOT Minnesota nice. The buffet breakfast was inedible except for the cereal and grapefruit. The dishes were dirty with stuck on food and the set up […] was cold and unappetizing. In the restaraunt the food was good and the service passable but it was NOT CLEAN. I think that is why they keep it so dark. GROSS! I didn't notice until after I ordered food. We couldnt order a movie despite having a credit card on file. They charge 10 bucks a day for Internet access since I am only a Hilton Honors silver and only Gold and above receive free Internet. Ridiculous!!! Almost every hotel offers free WiFi. I will not stay at anymore hotels that charge for WiFi. Housekeeping never cleaned our room. They knocked early and we told them to come back in an hour when we were going to leave for breakfast and they never came back. No message. No clean towels. Nothing. Horid room service. Had to ask the front desk 3 times to have the room cleaned. Maid carried the clean glasses into the room under her arm and the top caps in her mouth.

Embassy is always a great stay. We stay at an Embassy Suites at least twice a year. Breakfast was great and we always enjoy the Managers Reception. All service was great. On the down side, the cost for WI-FI in your room, really was disappointed that I had to go downstairs to business office to use the internet. not the first time here, nice quite when we were there, friendly staff, no rushing around, very comfortable room. Did the evening happy hour and the breakfest, enjoyed. plan on a trip again soon, next time a longer stay.

Even though there are hotels closer to the Mall and the airport, this one has the BEST service from the shuttle drivers to the maids. Nice Restraunt next door and Target is close by. Worth the money.

We have stayed here twice during our annual Mall of America trips. This hotel is clean and comfortable with large rooms. The breakfast is one of the best I have had at a hotel. Plus the rates are reasonable and the location is great.

Great location and service. Need to find ways to easy the congestion during breakfast. Alarm clock was ON at 5:30am, my kids were unable to fall sleep after the alarm clock incident.

Great place to stay. We enjoyed our time here.

The only complaint I have is don't plan on sleeping on the couch bed. The mattress in so thin and worn out that all you feel in the frame of the bed. I slept on the couch cushions on the floor. Also if they have wedding receptions going on plan on loud obnoxious noise until wee hours of the morning. We needed to take a family night out and this was a wonderful place to do it...The Manager's reception and the omelet buffet were wonderful and my entire family had a great time in the pool and just hanging out.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always find the service, cleanliness and atmosphere to be excellent. They have a manager's reception and breakfast buffet that you don't get at any other hotel that we have ever stayed at. This alone makes it worth while. The room is a suite which is an added bonus.

The manager's reception was very nice and relaxed. The pool was lovely and I really want to compliment the staff, as nearly always, when you visit a hotel, the hot tub isn't hot, the sauna, if it works, is way too cool, and the pool is too hot. I was thrilled that indeed, the sauna was very hot, the pool was cool enough to be considered the "right" […] temp for an indoor pool, and the hot but was warm enough to discourage use by small children and was could have maybe been 1-2 degrees warmer, but was much better than most. Everything about the room and the stay was good, except 1) they need someone directing folks in line for breakfast, to by-pass the line unless they want the made to order omelet, as this would dramatically reduce the standing around and waiting, and 2) the sofa bed in the room, which had a mattress of very poor quality and was quite uncomfortable. Our room smelled moldy & we had a horrible view of the spotlight shining in our window. Also there was a huge water stain in the bedroom & only 1 of the 4 lights in that room worked. Really enjoyed this hotel. We have not stayed in an Embassy Hotel and we amazed at all the little extras the had for us ( the general public I mean). Can't really say anything bad about it. only a couple of miles to the Mall of America, then we found other things to do the other way. We had a wonderful time on our vacation to the Cities. Most of the good experiences came from the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. It was filling, fresh, and tasty. We also used the pool. It was nice that the pool had adult hours so you don't have to worry about kids being load when you want to relax. The shuttle to the Mall of America […] was very helpful. We wish that they had a shuttle to the Amtrak station or at least that you could request a special ride. We had a great time to our hotel and totally stay there again. Overall, we were VERY pleased with our stay. Clean, comfortable, great service... This will be our spot for future trips to the area! Room was equipped well for a family stay - kids went to bed early in the main living area and we were able to close the connecting door to relax and watch TV in our room after they went to bed. We had a great stay. The room was great. The pool area was great. Loved that there was a sauna and hot tub. The work out room was great. My son was impressed with the equipment. The food was great. Would definitely stay again.

There are two Embassy Suites in Bloomington. Both are on American Blvd. I thought I had booked at one, but it was actually the other. The hotel was fine, however, I would have to state that I would highly suggest that you eat somewhere outside of the hotel for dinner. The managers happy hour was the best! Met some great people. Had reservations at Chez Daniel, wonderful food! Are going back this year. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Excellent!!!!!! The full breakfast was excellent w/ omelets and pancakes, eggs, bacon, sau, pastries, yougart, cereal how very wonderful!!!!! The pool was great!!! we love that the shuttle takes you to the mall!!

This is a very nice hotel. The continental breakfast was the best!! My kids loved the omelets! There was a a few hours (in the very nice lobby) for drinks and snacks. Had a great time and would recommend it!

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was nice and the breakfast was good. It was a great place to stay.
