I booked a room for Oct 20th stay. The hotel room itself was nice and clean. Hotel staff courteous, but when my family went to shower in the morning the water was not even room temperature. It was border line cold, in fact. Nothing makes you appreciate hot showers when you can't have one. We went to tell the front desk and they seemed less than concerned. "Great value for the money ! You won't be disapointed."
My stay was for a reunion with an old friend. This was my first time in the area and I went in there without knowing what was ahead when I arrived. The hotel was very clean and modern. It took me about 30 seconds to check in. All my paperwork was prepared and waiting for my arrival. The room was spotless, odorless and very quiet. The in room coffee […] and complimentary toiletries and daily paper were plentiful. The large flat screen TV was an added bonus as was the in room safe. The bathroom was very clean and standard in size. The lobby was attractive with a small seating area with a flat screen TV and a gas fireplace operating as you enter the lobby. I did not eat at the hotel restaurants, but they looked clean and well maintained. NO complaints or flaws with my stay. The staff were all friendly and greeted me whenever they passed, that's something that you don't see much of anymore. This hotel was also near the Martinsburg Mall, and quite a bit of shopping and restaurants. Convenience was also a plus, right off of exit 13 on I-81. Although your room has a microw & frig, you also have a inexpensive, family friendly restaurant in the hotel. If that's not what you want there are several popular restaurants nearby (Outback, Applebee). Finally the mall is nearby too. The movie theater is closeby as well. "Happy Stay!"
We were extremely happy with our accomendations. Although we arrived abit early we were able to check in and the man at the front desk was extremely friendly and kind to us and didn't act like we shouldn't have been so early. We enjoyed the use of the great indoor pool. We asked for a roll away bed as well and the girl who delivered it was very friendly. "Restaurant not very good."
