This hotel is beautiful. It is a relaxing place to stay. We found 2 issues. We could hear our neighbors talking through the walls and TV quite clearly. We were in the 16 area of the property which is a little hike and would be a concern for anyone with walking issues. It is a beautifully maintained property with a great workout facility. I have stayed here twice and love it. The pool and spa are both tranquil and well-designed. This property is perfect for couples looking for a calm and relaxing weekend in a resort setting. I look forward to staying here again.

Hotel grounds, pool, etc are GORGEOUS. Spectacular setting. Rooms were not exceptional (but nothing wrong with them)... everything else was so wonderful I didn't really want to spend time in the room anyway. Service everywhere (restaurants, pool, spa) was great.

Best hotel I have ever started at! Everything was top notch. Great location and amazing spa

The service was excellent. People were all very friendly the SPA IS GREAT!! The Yoga classes are fabulous. I really enjoyed my stay here and look forward to returning!!

Finally, an Arizona hotel without the southwest decor! The Montelucia makes one think of Morrocco or some exotic far off land. The use of rich, deep colors in the rooms was refreshing and very sophisticated. The hotel staff was engaged with the customers making the service level top notch. This hotel is on my return list!

I have heard about this hotel since it opened so we decided to do a "staycation". It wasn't worth all the hype. We were ok with the expensive price, but then the resort wasn't anything too special. Very spread out, lack of food options, additional costs for resort fee, parking and more. It was nice and relaxing around pool and with pool side service. […] Glad we added the breakfast to our room through hotels.com because it truly paid off and their food was anything but cheap! This was a well needed break!! This resort is amazing!!!! Everything you could imagine, PLUS more. I will be returning very soon. If you are looking for perfect relaxation and amazing service this is the place to be.

The only thing that was not disclosed to me from Hotels.com was that fact that they charged a $24.00 a day charge for the internet use,pool use fitness center use, when hotels.com advertised that they had free wireless internet, not so!!!!!!! I have never stayed at a hotel were they charge you a fee for the use of their pools and their fitness center, […] that we were disappointed in because that was one of the reasons why I picked this hotel, when I saw that it advertised free wireless internet, so beware no free wireless!!!! Overall the Hotel was very nice, but there was nothing specail about the service. Very ordinary check in. Rooms and beds were very good, but nothing better than a Westin or other similar priced hotel. No newspapers in the morning to the room. I get newspapers delivered to the room at a Drury Inn. The room was quite a bit away from the lobby. Hard to […] find. This is a nice hotel, but it is quite secluded. Nothing close by for dinner, shopping etc. Probably at least 5 miles from anything else. The restaurants and shopping on premise was nothing great. Nice place but for the price in season, it would not be my first choice. Off season good bargain, but the Keirland Westin in North Scottsdale was the same price and more convienant and just as nice. really nice hotel. but they need more ammeneties. the inroom snacksare way over priced nine dollars for a small bag of cheetos that is usually 50 cents at the store, i dont think so. the resort was kinda empty did not see alot of people. the happy hour gelato was awesome. wished they offered more things to do. resort fee and valet fee are too much.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Montelucia Resort. Everyone was very friendly, the grounds imaginative and colorful. There was a little bit of something for everyone and lots of things, events, and activities everyone could enjoy. I found my time in the Joya Spa the most enjoyable and relaxing. Returning to the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort for our 11th year Anniversary was breathtaking as I remembered it. It has some of the most impressive views of Camelback Mountain. They have spectacular grounds and amenities. In the morning and throughout the day you can hear birds chirping and see little wild bunnies on the grounds. Between the landscaping […] and the natural location, it’s a beautiful place to inspire relaxation and restoration. You can have your own private party or join the amazing pool party at the Kasbah pool. We participated in both and enjoyed meeting beautiful people from all over the world this weekend. Whether you are staying in the Presidential Suite or any of the other rooms, they are spacious, beautiful, with private patios that are the perfect place to have your morning coffee or an evening drink. The bathroom is probably the best part of the room, with a large, multi shower-head shower and a deep, comfortable soaking tub. Combine all of this with an attentive and helpful staff, and you have the makings of a great long weekend. They knew we were celebrating out 11th year together and delivered champagne and chocolate covered strawberries to our room. We did not order this; it was complimentary of the hotel. They made us feel extra special. The spa is most impressive part of our stay. The Moroccan inspired theme is just breathtaking. We had custom massages, which I would rate as one of the best I have ever had. They use high-quality, beautiful products, and provide plenty of privacy and gorgeous areas for you to relax. You can find specials at this 5 star hotel from time to time. I would return to the spa in a heartbeat! Here is my only complaint I felt the ladies at check in and spa check in should be more friendly. Loved our stay at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort. The service was top notch almost everywhere. We had dinner at Prado both nights, once at a table and once from the tapas menu at the bar. Both of our experiences there were five stars. Amazing food and great service. The breakfast in the dining room was not good. The food was lukewarm and the […] server had to be reminded of our juice and it took 40 minutes to get our food. He blamed it on the kitchen, but I don't think they would have sent out lukewarm food. Who knows. It was surprising after amazing dinner services. Service at the Oasis pool was good, but not great. I think they either need an extra server or the male server who was there while we were needs to be a bit more attentive. He did make up for it by buying a round of our drinks, though, so I think that adequately resolved our issue. The grounds and pools are gorgeous. I love that they have an adult pool that is quiet and away from the DJ'd pool. There were always plenty of towels and chaise lounges. The room is gorgeous and it was the most comfortable bed in which I've ever had the pleasure to sleep. We have been every year since they opened and will return every year as long as it remains as great this past experience. We may skip breakfast, though. Uzziniet vairāk

The grounds are beautiful! The pool is very relaxing. Crave is great for breakfast and drinks. My only concern are the staff. For instance at the pool the lady giving out towels asked us our room number. My fiance replied "one thousand one." Very snooty, she said, "That's not a room number, only hotel guests are permitted." A minute later she says, […] "Oh sorry, ten oh one, that's a room number." This example portrays the attitude of a few of their staff members. This resort is excellent on every level. The location, beautiful setting, personal service, lux room, bathroom, incredibly soft sheets make it an unbelievable value. The resort fee does exist, but once you realize it includes all kinds of yoga and fitness classes it's no big deal. If fact, if you take the nightly rate and add the resort fee it's still […] less that half the price of comparable properties. I have no qualms in recommending this hotel to anyone. We split our time between here and Talking Stick. I wish we would have stayed at the InterContinental the entire time. Live and learn! Uzziniet vairāk

Rooms was dark, The rooms do not have mountain view and not quite (on first floor) that were we have requested when we made the reservation.

The Intercontinetal is a very nice property, but pricey and they hit me with an added "resort" charge... Everything in your room except a silver of soap was an extra charge. Depending on the price you pay, a fair value, but not really competitive with nearby luxury properties.

The Montelucia is absolutely fabulous! Breathtaking views, exceptional service (Steven our cabana boy/waiter went OUT OF HIS WAY to make certain our every need was met). I could live in the bathrooms alone - you MUST try the Fish Tacos at ROQ - this place is unbelieveable - and even though I live in Phoenix - I felt like I was truly transported to a […] tropical aisle. Great hotel....beautiful rooms and a fun pool! I highly recommend staying at this resort. The grounds are amazing and rooms are brand new and second to none. You'll be glad you did!

first, this resort is NOT 5 stars. in their lobby it is clearly posted as a 4 star resort and 4 stars it is (at best). they also charge a resort fee of $24 plus they tax that fee so you pay over $27 per day you are there on top of your room rate. what was extremely unsatisfactory was the fact that the hotel allows anyone to come use their pool for a […] fee so by the time we arrived at the pool at 10:30 AM, every chair and every cabana was already taken! the resort should NOT allow non guests to use the pools as it is a limited space--it should be for paying guests only especially since they have the nerve to charge a resort fee (then you can't even use the amenities since there is no room!) the pool was standing room only and the water was filthy. the pictures are also very deceiving as the pools are not as large as shown. the hotel service is also very slow. i waited 30 minutes for a bellman to bring me new keys...unacceptable! the room decor is very dated and of poor quality. our duvet cover was stained and ripped right on top--they covered it with a velour blanket. This place is spectacular. We loved everything about it. A true bargain for the price. The views were amazing, the rooms unbelieveable. We stayed by the adults only pool and had the most beautiful view of Camelback Mtn. The photos on their website really do the facility no justice at all. The actual resort looks and is a hundred times nicer.

Beautiful hotel, excellent service. Very comfy bed and gorgeous bathroom. Even if you don't use any of the services on the resort fee, you must pay it anyway. So your final price on here is not final.

This is a incredibly beautiful....luxury resort. The staff is a perfect "10"...the rooms are extremly comfortable...and flawless! The pools are exceptional....the "only" negative is that they really sholud not charge you for little things...like internet use in the business center.

Buyer Beware...hotel charges $25 a day "resort" charge + tax!! This resort charge includes self-parking, internet, and fitness center. Quite the "deal" for $27.50!! Front self parking lot is at least 1/2 mile from the back of the hotel. If you are lucky enough to stay out there, get on the waiting list for a golf cart shuttle which may have you waiting […] 30+ minutes in the Phoenix heat! Supposed "kid friendly" pool is not regulated in anyway by the hotel staff. We had three small children under in danger of being hit in the head by a flying football at the arm of drunk adults in the wrong pool. Hotel offers $25 per person barbeque which is not regulated or monitored by management. For those of us who paid and received wristbands, there were just as many who didn't! Also beware, the minute you check out through their online tv service, your air turns off and doors lock. Be careful not to walk outside and shut the door! Uzziniet vairāk

First class resort lives up to its billing. Major drawback is distance to parking lot/garage and need to either walk through the pool or bar area to access lot.

great--great--great--experience. hotel staff was amazing....rooms were comfortable and relaxing. we stayed in the adult's only pool area--lower level. we walked to the pool late at night. casual yet elegant. food was great. i would not hesitate to stay at this resort again.

Outstanding in every way. The only drawback I can even think to mention is parking. If you stay on the back of the property, the parking lot is way up front. Unless you'd like to pay the fairly expensive valet parking fee, they don't make it real convenient for you to check in either. I had to stay at this hotel for business and ended up extending my stay. The hotel was gorgeous. The grounds were very pretty and my room had a great view of Camelback mountain. The rooms were very roomy. The pool was open 24 hours which was great after a long day.
