This hotel had it's best days about 30 years ago. Everything is old, and the floor is not even flat... Location is good and the rooms are clean, but everything else sucks. The room was ice cold and so was the shower.

It' s lo cated very central in Madrid and irelation to price a resenable hotel. Sevrice is not the best .

I have stayed in a lot of Hotels over the years and this one tops it. Where do you start.....the carpet floors were stained, the furniture was stained, the furniture looked like it came out a garage sale. The shower had very low water pressure. There was two electrical plugs in the room and in one plug they had extension with three plugs coming out […] of it, quite a fire hazard. The bed was a mattress on wood slats. If this hadn't been my last night in MAdrid I would have definitely change but we were leaving early morning so we managed thru it. It was so bad it was humorous. Would not stay there again. Have stayed here many times. Its fine if you only need somewhere to put your head down, as the location is fantastic. Dont expect the shower to work properly, and you need to be patient with the lift, as there is only one,and it holds only 4, so expect a long wait. Plus side is, its a fraction of the price of surrounding hotels.

Old hotel in the perfect location for city visit. The price is ti high to recommend this hotel.

This hotel is a very good value and conveniently located to restaurants, Metro stations and a computer/telephone place. Easy to get to both train station and airport from here by Metro. Highly recommended!

Very dated and needs serious maintenance. Location excellent, but can find many other hotels and hostels in this area for the same or less money, and in much better condition.

I needed a place to stay for one night before I got the train to San Sebastian the next day. My room was very spacious and clean with a fan and TV, no air-con so was a little bit hot (July). The staff were helpful in directing me to the train station and telling me where to go. Very close to shops, bars, food and Sol Train station. Would recommend!

The location is great and sights are easy to access by road or metros. No good choicefor breakfast, we almost chose to eat in other cafes. Non AC Rooms stink and beds are extremely uncomfortable, noisy and shift when we move. Although we spend limited time in the hotel, I would not re-spend my vacation here. For our trip, the most important thing was to be as close to the city as possible for the cheapest price. We got exactly that. There are many things to see nearby and there are 2 metro stops close to the hotel. When we (2 ppl) arrived we were shown to a room that was tiny and smelled awful. The entire room smelled like a dirty bathroom. We immediately […] asked for another room. The second room was better. It was bigger and smelled fine. After a few days we realized that the beds were not very comfortable so we decided to move to another room which was MUCH nicer than both rooms before. It seemed like every floor that we moved down, the better the rooms got. The nice thing about this is after asking to move twice some hotels might have felt that we were annoying but this hotel did not mind and moved us with ease. Also, we came during November so the fact that they do not have air conditioning did not bother us. The breakfast at the hotel is also way overpriced and does not include much. There are many cafes and good places to eat nearby however so that isn't a big issue. Bottom line: Location is perfect but it is not the most comfortable hotel. If comfort is a big concern for you, you will not be happy here. Definitely worth it if you only plan to be in the room to sleep. Uzziniet vairāk

I only stayed approximately 24hours in this hotel, and thank goodness for that. At check-in, you quickly realize that this hotel does not have any air conditioning. I was only able to accept this since my sole purpose for this hotel room was to store my luggage and take a shower. Getting to your room is yet another challenge with only one elevator which […] has probably been in exsistence since the middle ages fits 2-3 people at a time and takes 5mins to come. Once in the room which was very good large there was a old fan which but a great balcony which mad up for the lack of AC. In additon to the large room tha bathroom was clean and also very large. This is the worst hotel you could imagine...the prices of any food and drink were ridiculous..we actually saw people forfeiting there whole 4 nights non-refunded just to get out. If I were richer i would've done the same. It's HOT, no breeze, no FANS..i understand no aircon but then to also have NO FANS. Extremely NOISY...and the staff were so rude […] about it. I've stayed at campsites with and one star backpacker hostels which were more comfortable. Location is good, but when you get NO sleep how is that a bonus..EVERYTHING in this hotel is over priced...honestly..the internet is 12 euros for 24 hours when you can get free wi-fi over most of Madrid. I've stayed here twice now, and it's definitiely great value for money. I don't think you'll find anything as good as this in the centre of Madrid. It's close to all the main attractions, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's not flashy, but if you're lookinf for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights, this hotel is perfect.

This is a great location in the very center of the city, but it's very old and run-down, has one tiny elevator which seems never to be available, and the beds are terrible! None of the rooms we tried looked even as good as the photos on the website. And, they charge the equivalent of $19 a day for internet and $17 for breakfast which is just coffee […] and some stale rolls. Not a good choice unless you have no other option... Uzziniet vairāk

I'm surprised that this is rated as a two star. the hotel is not modern but very clean and the staff was friendly. Excellent location, walking distance to all the interesting sites, the museums, shopping, etc. it is on a busy street so there was some noise all night long on the streets but not overwhelming.

I was supposed to get a room with one kingsized bed, instead I got a room with 3 small beds which was wierd because i was the only one staying there. The staff was not very polite. No internet access available in the hotel. Location is great as it is walking distance to all three major art museums.

Perfect location. We were on sixth floor so it was very quiet. Room was very big, comfortable and airy. Big bathroom. Twin share was fine.

The Asturias is an older, bare bones hotel in a great location. I was surprised that it didn't have air-conditioning given Madrid's heat in the summer. The staff at the front desk warned me not to take a room facing the street, but I did anyway, which I regretted due to the loud street noise lasting until 3 am each night.

This hotel was nothing more than a hostel, certainly not worth the money that I spent. The first room I was given was a far cry from the pictures posted on hotels.com. The room had peeling paint and was clearly in need of renovation. When we found a roach, it was time to go downstairs and get a different room. I noticed that the rooms were nicer on […] lower floors, but even my second room didn't look a thing like the pictures or what I would expect from a 2 star hotel in the US. I checked in on a busy friday night. The hotel is close to all the downtown Madrid attractions but is not worth it unless you plan on only using your room for a few hours of sleep. The overall appearance of the hotel is shabby at best. This is a very old building that has severe cracks in the walls and extreme maintenance neglect. My first room was […] in the center of the building with threadbare sheets, a huge stain on the ceiling from a leak above, dirty walls and a window that was stuck but when opened showed the interior of..the surrounding buildings and ventilation shafts. I took pictures of all the major complaints and went down to the desk. I asked for a different room and they were hesitant, they were full it was the weekend... I took out camera and showed them all the pics and asked if their was an internet cafe near by. I got a different room in better condition except for the cracks in this room, These are superficial cracks, these are ones that you could put your credit card in half way..and the floor slanted so much I could put my tube of lipstick on the floor and it would roll all the way across the room without stopping. The hotel Asturias is locate in the middle of everything. The rooms are clean and spacious. The only problem was that the room didn't had air conditioning, just a fan and outside were 36 grades.

El hotel se localiza en una zona muy céntrica e incluso la apariencia del edificio es buena, sin embargo la imagen que se vende en la pagina para nada es la que existe realmente. El interior del edificio presenta un avanzado estado de deterioro y abandono, el elevador y espacios públicos como lo son los pasillos y las escaleras dan muy mal aspecto; […] las habitaciones son sencillas pero no cumplen con lo que promocionan ya que en el baño no hay siquiera jabón y las toallas están rotas y con un desagradable olor, de igual modo las cortinas incluso presentan quemaduras de cigarrillo; todo ello demerita la calidad e imagen del servicio; se entiende desde un principio que el hotel no es de lujo pero no por ello debe carecer de lo básico y presentar un estado de descuido en la imagen general. El hotel sta en un sitio fenomenal al lado de la Puerta del Sol, le hacee falta una inversion para modernizarlo, es una pesadez la espera del ascensor. Esta limpio pero el mobiliario es casi vintage

El hotel cumple con las expectativas en cuanto a ubicación, comodidad y confort de un hotel de este tipo. Sin embargo, la atención en recepción siempre fue muy poco amable y parecían molestos de otorgar cualquier tipo de información. Sólo por eso, no lo recomendaríamos a ninguno de nuestros amigos.

Hotelet var gammelt og slidt, tv for få kanaler ingen fjernbetjening og kunne kun sappe nedad da der mangle en knap. Badet var der så godt som ingen vandtryk masser på håndvask og wc, Safeti boks skulle have et hav 1 EURO skulle en i hver gang man skulle have den låst. 場所はプエルタ・デル・ソルに近く、わかりやすいです。部屋は綺麗ですが、全体的に作りが古く、ドアのカギが開け閉めしづらかったり、エレベーターが来なかったり、トイレが１回流れなかったりしました。従業員は親切でも不親切でもなく坦々としていました。特に何も問題なく過ごせました。

Zeer centraal gelegen. Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Je merkt dat het hotel wat verouderd is. Prettig personeel.

Privilegiada situacion en el centro de Madrid. Parking publico a 100 metros. Limpio. Por lo demás: ruidos de la calle al no cerrar bien los balcones, "bulla" de un grupo de gente joven con el que coincidimos. Repetiríamos...

PRO - Posizione ottimale centralissima, personale molto cortese, bagni puliti e sufficientemente spaziosi. El hotel se mantiene con el mismo inmobiliario e infraestructura de cuando se inauguro que debe haber sido en la Segunda Guerra Mundial!!!. La habitacion no tenia jabon y el ambiente no facilita el descanso (colchones en mal estado). No tiene calefacción y el radiador no funcionaba. Aunque tiene un precio razonable no se justifica el estado en que se […] encuentra. Las paredes estaban sucias sin pintar desde hace mucho. Recomiendo que se remodele, valdria la pena la inversión. Hotel Asturias is located in central Madrid. However, if you want to sleep at night, you should not stay here, the noice from the street and people going out until 6 in the morning is extreme. The tap in the bathroom couldn't close properly, although Madrid lacks water and there was hot water in the tap. Strange.

Lite nedgånget men med tanke på priset och läget är det ett fynd. Läget kan knappast vara bättre ca 50 meter från tunnelbana och 200 meter från Sol - Madrids centralpunkt. Rummen är helt OK men lite hårda madrasser. Om man får rum mot gatan kan man störas av buller om man är känslig. Snålt med varmvatten i duschen är nog det enda riktigt negativa […] jag kan komma på. . Tog hotellet utan frukost - det finns gott om kaféer i närområdet man kan äta frukost på. Man får dock inte vara stor i frukosten - uppenbarligen äter spanjorer nästan inget på morgonen. Uzziniet vairāk

上网要另收费，客房很旧，服务也很一般，因为酒店地段较好，所以根本就不指望回头客。所以不推荐。

El trato de la gente que trabaja en el hotel es bastante mala. Desde la recepción hasta la gente que atiende en el comedor, son mal encarados, groseros y déspotas. No recomiendo la estancia en el hotel ya que la pasas muy mal al tener que lidiar con el pésimo servicio de la gente que ahí trabaja

Es un hotel muy antiguo, viejo pero bien cuidado. No hay aire acondicionado ni secadora de pelo, pero todo estaba muy limpio y con lo necesario. Por la ubicación y cercanía a todo vale lo que pagué, que no fue mucho.
