The main advantages here are the location and the free bar and snacks. The room was only average but the hotel is very well staffed and I dont regret staying here. Just be aware the rooms are not posh.

The hotel is the only all-inclusive hotel in the city. It is a new concept and it works well. Located on Herengracht (in the Gentleman's District it is on what the Dutch say is the best canal in the the city and convenient for all the major attractions The hotel itself is Art-Deco in style, very very clean and the rooms are so very comfortable. The […] beds and the pillows are to die for. The Living Room is located by the reception area and is a pleasant area where you can sit and relax and enjoy your free hot/cold drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. In the afternoon drinks are accompanied by snacks, like little cakes, cheese, nuts, crisps and dips. The All-Inclusive finishes each evening at 2am in the morning. So that should satisfy most people. Staff at the hotel are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. You are allowed to to store your luggage there after check out and collect it later at no extra cost which is very handy. Free wi-fi and internet is also available complete with printing facilities. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of choice and is available until 11am on Sundays. Great for those who need a lie in after a heavy Saturday night. There is only one thing that was disappointing unless you have a suite there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the standard deluxe rooms you have to go down to the Living Room and take it to your room. Tea/coffee making facilities are only available in the suites. However, all rooms have a free mini bar with soft drinks in and decanters of whiskey, gin and brandy. A wonderfully comfortable place to stay in central Amsterdam. A great all inclusive formula which is a unique touch. Simply great for a weekend break.

An unexpected absolute gem of a hotel right in the centre of Amsterdam - all places of note well within walking distance with plenty to capture your interest on route- not to mention a plethora of cafes, bars should you feel the need .

Boutique hotel, central location staff very welcoming rooms comfortable, good breakfast, hotel lounge felt like being in a very comfortable sitting room. Best feature, serve yourself bar in the lounge. All premium spirits, wines and beers included in your hotel rate. Excellent idea though not abused.

The Banks Mansion is what every small, mid-priced hotel should aspire to. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, our room was cozy and comfortable, and the location was within walking distance of everything. However, what puts this hotel over-the-top is the wonderful breakfast, afternoon wine and cheese, and around the clock full assortment of […] beverages which are all complimentary. This hotel is just several blocks from 2 different tram stops that will get you anywhere in AMS easily. The hotel was extremely comfortable w/ very nice beds, complimentary wine/beer/cocktails and snacks. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We spent 4 nights i Amsterdam as part of a longer trip and really enjoyed our stay at the Banks Mansion! It was a great location for touring the city and we were able to walk everywhere we had planned to visit. There are numerous restaurants easily within walking distance and the breakfast at the hotel was lovely each day. Having cocktail hour with […] some treats each evening was really nice upon return to the hotel after a long day of exploring!! The drinks always available in the living room and in your room were also a wonderful benefit. The staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful and we took advantage of their excellent restaurant advice. We rented the hotel Vespa one day and really enjoyed riding around the canals. The Banks Mansion staff were extraordinarily pleasant and helpful. The room was smaller than what you might get in the U.S. but that was to be expected. The decor is very nice and they give you everything you need to make your stay pleasant. Included in the price is breakfast in the morning (be sure to ask for a Dutch pancake!) and all alcohol. The hotel is located in the Southern Canal Belt, right next to the flower market and a short walk from all the Amsterdam sights you probably plan to see. Best of all, the hotel is all-inclusive. Free drinks (so nice, since a bottle of water in a restaurant is 3+ euros and very small), including flat and sparkling water, fanta, and 3 kinds of alcohols. […] Free mini-bar in the room. Free sausage and cheese almost all day--free cookies in the morning. Free wine in the afternoons. Free, delicious breakfast with lots of choices! The only drawback to the rooms is that the shower is pretty small--but the bed is comfortable, the rooms are decent-sized for Europe, and the ambiance is very pleasant. Fantastic location about 10 minutes from Central Station. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. As an added bonus, soft and hard drinks were included in our package. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

Check in was terrible. Girl at front desk couldn't find reservation after I showed her the email and confirmation page/number from hotels.com. FREE drinks at the minibar. Drinks in Europe are expensive, so that was delightful. Soft drinks that Americans take for granted are very expensive. 4 euros at a sit down restaurant! Room is pretty small. Enough […] for two large suitcases and a little bit of moving. It's very very cramped. Two people -- big enough. Three's company. Decent location, but everything in the area closes at 6 (except for a handful of cafes). If you go in the area closer to the train station, those stores and restaurants stay open. We chose Banks Mansion off the internet and felt we made the perfect decision. The hotel was extremely well located, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate and well-appointed, and the all-inclusive feature was the most complete we've ever experienced. The availability of cold beverages in the lobby cooler, wine and cheese in […] the afternoons, and snacks at any hour of the day simply complimented an extraordinary daily breakfast offering. Also, the concierge helped us with tickets to the Anne Frank house and gave clear information about other sites we wished to visit. We would highly recommend this hotel to any Amsterdam visitors! Warm. cordial staff made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Relaxing environment in a good location to most main attractions in the city. The home cooked breakfast was excellent. Our room was very comfortable. However, the highlight of our three night stay was the young & exuberant staff that aimed to please and honor every request. Absolutely amazing hotel!

After reading the reviews, I stayed at this hotel with my wife for 2 nights. The room, and the hotel itself, was worn and old looking. The carpets have a very loud and colourful geometric shape that looks like a pattern from the 1960's. The bed was hard and uncomfortable for me (personal thing I guess). There was a decanter of cognac, whisky and gin […] in the room. The minibar was slim pickings. There is no wine in the room at all (our preferred drink) and only one coke, one diet coke, etc and it was never restocked. The bar in the lobby has wine, champagne, beer, soft drinks, water, etc. Also, each evening they did serve some cheese and bread. For us, since we are not big drinkers, the hotel was not worth the expensive price tag. I would prefer a nicer...much cleaner room and pay for my drinks. Uzziniet vairāk

Friendly, welcoming staff! Pamela met us & came out from behind the desk to greet us & aqquaint us with the hotel. There was a welcoming fire in the fireplace and while housekeeping did a last minute check on our room we had welcoming bottles of water. We were shown to our room within minutes even though it was only 11am & no extra charge. This is an […] all inclusive hotel. The drinks, snacks, coffee, cookies, apps & breakfast are included. Beds were great, bath was wonderful with soaking tub & seperate shower. The bath was private, no glass wall. Brandy, whiskey or gin in decanters on a small bar & snacks/drinks in the minibar. Patrick, pointed us in the right direction for shopping. Very nice staff at this hotel. We had a brandy before walking to a small restaurant just out the door and to the right called "Get toGether". Very nice staff, food & reasonalby priced. Great location. We had breakfast in our room and called down for a taxi when leaving our room. Mycket trevligt hotell, man kände sig väldigt omhändertagen. Bra läge, nära till allt. Bonus med snacks o bar på eftermiddagen - bra när man reser med ständigt hungriga tonåringar :) Rekommenderas varmt!

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est idéal et permet de combiner un séjour au calme avec la proximité de tous les monuments/lieux de visite. L'accueil est d'excellente qualité et le personnel de très bon conseil sur les visites à réaliser et les meilleurs itinéraires

Ett hotell som möjligen kan vara lte dyrt men som har massor med fördelar. Läget är nog det bästa i hela Amsterdam tycker vi , när det liggeer precis mellan det något kaotiska centrala delarna och det romantiska kanalområdet med närhet till flera fina restauranger. Frukostbuffen är något av det bästa jag fått på många år. Att fritt trådlöst internet […] ingår tillsammans med fri minibar och ett riktigt "barskåp" gör inte saken mindre värd. Den utbyggda receptionen med kaffe,The öl och vin som finns uppdukat hela dagarna gör trevnaden ännu större. Personalen som alltid finns närvarande är mycket hjälpsam. Tack för ett resemionne! Et rent og koselig hotell med hyggelig betjening og god service. Frokosten var i utgangspunktet enkel, men med en artig kokk som fikset eggeomelett etter våre ønsker, samt nydelige pannekaker savnet vi ikke noe. Vi kan uten forbehold anbefale dette hotellet. Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til severdigheter, shopping, restauranter og byvandring i alle retninger. Gangavstand til det meste. Vennlige og hjelpsomme ansatte. Veldig bra frokost der kokken lager speilegg, eggerøre eller omelett mens man venter. Og utrolig, men sant: fri bar og minibuffet i lobbyen og […] fri minibar på rommet. Koselig lobby. Klarer ikke å finne noe negativt å si. Her vil vi garantert bo ved vårt neste besøk i Amsterdam. Svært hyggelig betjening og perfekt beliggenhet.

Meget pent og behagelig hotell med alt av drikke,internett,tv og frokost inkl i en meget tilfredstillende døgnpris. Veldig sentralt og god hjelp å få av personalet til det vi måtte ønske. Helt klart og anbefale til par som vil på en romantisk tur å bo på et rolig og sjarmerende hotell.

Het hotel heeft een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Tegenover het hotel ligt een café restaurant Pe king; is aan te bevelen. Wat wel vervelend is, dat het hotel een borg vraagt van 50 euro. Dan is het ook gewenst dat de kamer eerst goedgekeurd wordt door het personeel want op deze manier kan het zomaar gebeuren dat je aangeslagen wordt voor iets wat […] er nooit is geweest! zwischen innenstadt und grachtengürtel gelegenes hotel. zu fuß vom hbf in ca 20 minuten zu erreichen. wir hatten ein zimmer zur straße, was aber dank gut isolierter fenster kein problem war. wir kommen bestimmt wieder nach amsterdam und werden bestimmt wieder dort einchecken.

Un super hôtel, l'équipe est jeune et dynamique, toujours disponible pour nous aider. L'hôtel est situé au coeur de la ville, parfait pour un weekend romantique. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres. Le petit déjeuner copieux.

Flott hotell med utmerket service. Alt av drikke (inkl. minibar) og snacks er inkludert i prisen. Det samme er TV kanalene. I sengen var det 4 puter med forskjellig hardhet så man bør finne en som passer. Trådløs internett var også inkludert. Hotellet anbefales!!

una vera chicca nel centro di Amsterdam.. gentilezza cortesia..minibar gratuito nella hall a tutte le ore, accesso internet,computer con stampante,e minibar gratuito in camera,colazione gratuita il mattino... una rarità..ed il valore aggiunto è il prezzo di hotels.com!

Sentralt passert. Kort vei til alt det spennende Amsterdam har å by på. All-inclusive programmet var bare helt topp.

Kjekt hotell, sentral beliggenhet, hyggelig personale. Frokost var inkludert, og den var god med egen kokk som laget omelett osv på bestilling. Åpen bar på ettermiddag/ kveldstid. Var veldig hjemmekoselig. Definitivt et hotell vi kan tenke oss å både anbefale og bruke igjen!
