Lovely hotel, great service and friendly staff. Over 1 mile away from bars, resteraunts and attractions. Good 30 walk each way. Immediate neighborhood quite rough with streets in poor condition and not very clean. Charged £56 euros for a croissant and piece of toast because we stood up and used Buffett! My husband and I have stayed at the Sofitel Brussels Le Louise three times in the past six years and have had a wonderful experience each time. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable and the service is outstanding. The location is close to the Grand Plaza (less than a mile walk), museums, shopping, and some great restaurants. 10-15 minute scenic walk to the heart of Brussels, and you're on a street with high-end shopping (Hermes, Zegna, Ferragamo, etc). The hotel staff were phenomenal and couldn't have been more helpful. The room, while small, was very plush (I had the luxury) and well-appointed. Won't hesitate to stay here again the next time I'm in Brussels. This hotel was amazing and the staff so nice. We were not well and they were so helpful and offer a room upgrade for a good price as we really wanted a bath tub. I can not stress how lovely the hotel and rooms are very good beds and the staff too. Also a nice location.

Good choice for short break in Brussels. Decor a bit tacky particularly in communal areas but otherwise hotel very good. Would unhesitatingly recommend it.

The hotel rooms are a bit bare - I found the lack of mirrors a bit disturbing and the peeling/bubbling wallpaper reminds you the facility is getting a bit old. The rooms are clean and the help is decent. The reception staff are bit difficult to get through to as I had to repeat some very basic requests several times and they were still not addressed […] properly - regarding help for a late coming guest to check in. Fabulous location, loads of fabulous shops nearby, nice european style places too eat nearby and within walking distance to the centre of town. Staff were super, courteous and helpful. No doubt i will be staying here again. Room was well designed, reasonably sized, good tv options, excellent bathroom facilities...

Great hotel and very clean.the prices for the hotel and crystal lounge are very expensive for the quality you receive but there are plenty of alternative places nearby. Also expected that the fitness centre would be bigger and water should be provided complimentary to all guests.

Hotel was beautiful, even the standard room is very nice, located in one of the best neighborhoods in Brussels, high end shopping at your doorstep, also close to 2 metro stops that can take you to the historic center in less than 10 minutes. Service at hotel is first rate.

I love it when Hotels.com gets a great deal at a great hotel. The Sofitel Louise is an excellent hotel, room was very nice, not every hotel that has a Bose sound system in the room. That sets the tone for the quality of the hotel. Excellent

We had 4 rooms at this hotel as we brought our family. Everyone was very pleased with the service and the hotel. It is located about 15 minutes away by foot from the Grand Plaza, but it is worth the walk. The hotel itself is hidden in one of the main streets. A very good location, near metro, easy to walk to centre of Brussels. Upmarket area with upmarket shops. Concierge service was brilliant and really informative. Breakfast is good but expensive Rooms are modern and luxurious, Turn down service as well

I absolutely adored this place, from the top to bottom. The staff was quite friendly and eager to assist. My room was always clean and the hotel on the whole. You can easily walk to lots of restaurants and shops and the area feels much safer than some i explored.

Great rate for a room with the most comfortable beds in Europe. Excellent service and 5 minutes from Louise Louiza Metro Station, which connects directly to Brussels Centraal train station. In room safe, superb breakfast.

Great Hotel, except for the staff at the bar downstairs. It took over 2.5 hrs to order 2 drinks on one night and then on the next night whilst no one was in the bar the service was again extremely slow. It was such a let down for such a good hotel. We made our grievances known at the time and they were ignored. The slow service continued. Very disappointing. […] I would say the worst service I have had at a hotel for a very long time. I would like to note that this service was only experienced in the hotel bar and not the rest of the hotel. We visited this Hotel as a group of friends (3 couples) on a weekend break. The Hotel is lovely. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficeint. The Hotel is located in the up market end of Brussels surrounded by high end shops. It is a short walk to the Old Town, which was a more 'buzzing' area. Gorgeous hotel, really 'boutique'. Staff are lovely, the drinks are innivotive and delicious. Rooms however are small, even though we were upgraded we still found it small. The bed was soft & 'cloud' like, unfortunately this isn't to my taste. However, beds are so personal it's not really a general negative, just for me. Location is great.

The hotel was more than we expected, good location although if you want to be in the main square you are about a ten minute walk or four stops on the metro. Great location for shopping, the hotel staff were very friendly nothing was too much trouble. I Would definately recommend this hotel.

One of the best large city commercial hotels anywhere. Wonderful location, caring staff (arrived unknowingly during a transit strike, in pouring rain), lovely room, comfortable and well appointed.

I really like this hotel, it was querky with very modern decoration thoughout. The only disappointment was the fitness room which was sparse without a treadmill. The breakfast was expensive at 26Euros however the room service is very large portions which would easily feed more than one.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at this hotel. Very clean Rooms, the most marvelous and comfortable beds and good customer /sataff service, and great location. Would have had a drink in the bar only it was so expensive at a glass of wine £9 euro + Only real negative was the price of breakfast at £29 PP Euro per night not a good deal. We went to local cafes […] on the same street for breakfast. However would stay again as was a lovely hotel and the boutique style was welcomed. Good location, nice room, very comfortable bed. The staff in the hotel were really brilliant with the exception of one waitress in the outdoor garden drinks area. We appeared to be invisible to her for the 1st 10 minutes, then we managed to gain acknowledgement and place an order, however it took us 3 attempts over a 15 minute period to get our bill!! […] This was repeated on day 2 - same waitress - same problem even though the drinks garden was almost empty - so frustrating! The food was superb in the restaurant - the menus, encased in metal sleeves, were creased and a bit grubby which was a pity since the meal and service were excellent. The Hotel is quite nice, very good rooms, good location (not perfect, but brussels is small and there is a metro station right next door), but the reception service you must get used to (is not what i expect from a 5star hotel). Normally there is not much interaction with the reception (apart from check-in), but at Le Louise you must personally "apply" […] at the reception every day for the (free) 24 hour WIFI code, so you have more time to feel their service. Though it was not exceptional bad, the service delivery just was arrogant (yes, i do not speak too much french, but on the other hand .. it is the capital of belgium and a 5 star hotel ..). Very well located; hotel and staff met most of our expectations: clean, well managed and helpful staff. One issue would be the very expensive meal prices. We did not partake, though we would have on several occasions as we had rainy weather many of the days. Expedia did not offer a package with breakfast, and we would have been really happy to be able […] to have that. Would say that this is more of a business hotel and not for families.
