The hotel is near Boissière metro stop and within walking distance (10+ minutes) of Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile. The room was comfortable (although not very big, considering I chose a "superior" room). The hotel bar was very small and always looked empty and unstaffed. We had hoped to have a few drinks at the hotel in the evening after dinner but it […] was more of a hotel to just sleep in (near metro and plenty of places to eat within walking distance though). Only a short trip before continuing onto Switzerladn however the staff was friendly (and spoke English), the room was comfortable and the location was ideal. I'll stay here when I come back this summer for a week.

Good location. Only 15-20 minutes from gard de nord via metro system which is easy to navigate.. 10 minute walk to Eiffel Tower and arc de triomphe. Reception staff were helpful. My wife and I stayed here once before (in 2009) and really liked this hotel. We had a large room overlooking the rear courtyard, a lush garden space ... very peaceful and quiet. This time (Dec. 2012) our room was a bit smaller and overlooked the front courtyard, but again tranquil and very pleasant. The location is fantastic ... just off Avenue Kléber, […] which runs from the Arc de Triomphe to the Trocodero. Excellent Metro access on the #6 line (nearest stop: Boissière) and very easy to walk to the Champs-Éllysées or cross the Seine into the 7th. The hotel has a good, if typically overpriced, buffet breakfast ... this caters more to the business crowd. You're better off just popping over to one of many nearby cafes. We stayed at garden elysses for a week. We loved the hotel. The location was perfect, only a couple of blocks from the metro, close to the eiffel tower and the seine river. There is a grocery store two doors away. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

We were delighted with everything and thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay. We appreciated also that there were several places nearby which offered breakfast and a handy grocery store next door which also carried a good selection of wines.

The room and the bathrom were very clean and reasonably spacious. Courtesy and helpfulness of the hotel staff was very good. They always had a smile while answering any questions. A great location in the sixteenth close to the underground and Eifel Tower. Attractive reception area but parking very limited. If you ask for a double bed you may get two singles pushed together which isn't really a double!

Having read many reviews about hotel rooms in Paris being small, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room was very spacious. It was a junior suite as we were travelling with our 16 year old son (who, along with my husband is over 6 foot tall!) We had clean towels and bedding every day. Very disappointed, the hotel did not match up to its pictures and descriptions. The rooms are small claustrophobic, dark and depressing, with no garden view, just a small courtyard and some trees and walls that bring no sunshine into the rooms. dirty old furniture. Great hotel in a central location to explore Paris. We were in the city to see the final stage of the tour de France. 10 min walk to the Champs Elyseee we were over the moon to be so close. Staff in the hotel friendly and very helpfull. Metro station was 5 minute walk away.

The Hotel Garden Elysee was a very pleasant experience! We arrived early (before 11 AM) and the front desk expedited a room for us, which was very thoughtful and kind. The two gentlemen who were usually at the front desk during the day were always very professional, helpful, and courteous (giving us directions, making calls for our return shuttle service, […] etc.) and the maid service very efficient and friendly. Our room was always spotless each day upon our return from sightseeing. The hotel is in a great location (less than 2 blocks from 2 different metro lines) and an easy stroll to either Eiffel or Arch. There are also many dining options and choices close by. (The hotel's breakfast was very pricey and frankly not many guests used it, but would be convenient if money was not a concern). There was also a supermarket on the same street to purchase water, wine, and snacks at very reasonable prices. The room itself was fairly spacious by European standards and the bathroom very modern. The location of the hotel was not bad , just 4 minutes of walk to the Metro station Boissiere. The room was clean. But we had a bad experience there, the water was out for one day!!! can u imagine a 4 stars hotel with no water at all ?? but the staff was kind enough to provide us breakfast for free for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was charming, clean and located in a great place between the Eiffel Tower and Arch de Triomphe. Excellent location to catch the metro, walk to the Champs Elyesse. The only negative to our experience was the noise factor. You could hear other guests as through they were in the hall outside your door, when in fact, they were in their rooms.

I must start this review by saying that I'm not entirely sure how the star rating system works as a four star hotel in Paris doesn’t seem to be the same quality or standard I would expect to see in the UK. Lovely hotel in such a convenient location! The staff were extremely friendly and answered any questions we had, they even looked after our luggage on our last day after we had checked out so that we could enjoy a final day in Paris before a late Eurostar home. It's perfect having a small supermarket just down the road and being close to metro stations […] means that any travelling is no hassle at all. This is a boutique-style hotel in a lovely part of Paris. The modern interior is beautifully done and the rooms are a good size and very clean. The hotel is close to both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. There are many cafes and shops in the area, as well as a nearby metro station. I would highly recommend this hotel. .

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. The room was clean and the housekeeping service did a great job. The outlook over the garden courtyard was peaceful and the location is in a very safe part of Paris and close to a couple of Metro stations. The only downside was that the walls were […] quite thin, so at night we could hear neighbours talking/exercising quite loudly upon their arrival late evening/early morning. My major issue with this hotel was the description of the room. I booked and paid in advance for a "junior suite". Typically this description means a separate bedroom area and a separate living room space. My "junior suite" was just a nice size typical hotel room. It could have been a holiday inn. When I inquired at the front desk, the manager at the […] front desk agreed with me that the room really shouldn't be called a junior suite. In any case, I wouldn't have chosen to pay more for what was really a nice size ordinary room. Location wasn't bad as walking distance to a great view in back of the Eiffel tower but there are many better hotels to choose I'm better locations for this price point. Hôtel Garden Elysées is modern, clean, nicely appointed (public areas & room) boutique hotel and is located within walking distance of key monuments. The quaint hotel has 6 floors (I think there are 3 rooms to each floor), a bar, sitting area, and free wifi/computer access. Certainly has everything you need to relax and rest from long days of sightseeing. […] At night, the neighborhood becomes quiet and serene, very pleasant when you need to unwind. Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower are 10 walking minutes from the hotel. The Trocadero is 3 minutes away and has a handful of wonderful cafes that serve delicious meals, but on the pricier side. Another bonus? The metro station is 3 minutes away with numerous cafes and quick grab-and-go eateries along the street. I do recommend staying here, however I will point out after spending a week in Paris we came across other neighborhoods that were even more lively. So, it really depends what you're looking for because the neighborhood of Hôtel Garden Elysées has restaurants, cafes, markets, bars, etc. but runs at a slower/quieter pace vs. other neighborhoods. TIPS 1. Don't reach for the overpriced hotel mini bar! There's a full market next door that sells almost anything you need 2. Pack a simple wine bottle opener with you, market sells incredibly nice cheap wine! 3.Pretty much anything you need that you can't find in your room ask the front desk and they should have it, including iron/ironing board and plug converters, etc. Uzziniet vairāk

The worst thing about the hotel room was the fact that the toilet was separate from the main bathroom. Once you had been to the toliet you had to walk all the way to the bathroom to wash your hands. That is silly. You need a hand wash basin in the toilet.
