Visalia Marriott — Visalia

I requested a room with a king bed when I made my reservation but was told when I arrived that only rooms with double beds were available. There was inadequate parking because much of the lot was reserved for an event taking place at the adjacent convention center. We had to temporarily park outside the lobby until a space opened up about 20 minutes […] later. Other than that, it is a very nice hotel and we enjoy staying at the Marriott when visiting Visalia. Room service was also wonderful. Our breakfast arrived right on time and was fresh and delicious. We will likely stay here next time we come to town. Uzziniet vairāk

I loved everything about the hotel! !!!!!! .... im actually planning a minne honeymoon. ... with my husband ..

Layout of the room was good; bed was comfy Good location; restaurant food was delicious. I was on the 5th floor, but there were small ants in the bathroom - a few in sink and near shower, just a few, but still...

I've stayed here before, but I was very disappointed this time. Three adults had to share two ~very small~ double beds. The description of the room that I booked said it had three beds. I certainly wouldn't have booked this room if I'd known how small the beds were.

We had a family party at the convention center which there is direct access to from the hotel's back entrance. However, they locked the hotel back entrance at a certain time at night before our party was over. We had to walk around to the front of the building with the weather being 35 degrees!! It was a nice hotel, clean , nice, neat , new in parts, the biggest issue for us is it was only fly by night stay, so did not geta look around etc- but it just looked like a hotel in a town. Yes it was propbably much better than the alternative but we dont really know! There was nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. We spent a one night stay at the Visalia Marriot. A relative passed away who resided with his family in Visalia. Anyway, I drove from the San Fernando Valley to Visalia, about 3 hrs, with my mother who has a leg injury and my brother who is diabetic and has use of only one leg and one arm, having to lose one of each due to the illness. The front desk […] was very very accommodating to our needs. I asked if there was a chance to check in early because of my brothers condition and I expected the response to be that we would have to wait til 4:00 pm check in but no way. The young lady looked up my reservation and took care of us so quickly and with a big smile on her face. I felt so relieved that my brother and mom did not have to wait. If it had been just myself, I would not have asked the favor, but the whole thing was stress free. Thank you Marriot,Visalia and the young lady in training who was there on 8/20 at 4pm. This was the dirtiest room I have ever been in, The carpet was awful. The room was hot and muggy, the precoded T-stat, was not able to be set low enough to keep the room at a livable temp.. We were absolutely shocked to see this filth at a Marriot. Hotels should clean the carpet in each room, at a minimum of once a month.

My son and I stayed here on our way to Sequoia/Kings Canyon, and were pleasantly surprised by the service, location, and condition of the hotel. Bonus: After driving all day, we were able to walk a couple of blocks to dinner and a first run movie.

My only complaint is not with the hotel itself, which was superlative within the context of Visalia, or the staff, who gave excellent and very friendly service, but with the Visalia Convention Center next door. On the night I stayed at the Marriott, there was some sort of rave or disco at the Convention Center, and the bass was so loud that it shook […] the entire Marriott, making it impossible to go to sleep until 1 a.m. when they turned it off. We just wanted a comfortable & reasonable hotel relatively close to Sequoia National forest & this one fit the bill perfectly. Modern, clean & comfortable rooms. It's adjacent to Visalia's downtown, but we still found the available dining within walking distance somewhat limited. This hotel is a little formal...to the point of it not feeling like home. And high speed internet and breakfast cost extra. For the price of a room at this hotel, you would think that they would be included in the price. I really don't like being nickel and dimed, especially at a high class hotel.

The hotel has a great location and the rooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable also the down blankets were a bit warm for May. The pool and jacuzzi was nice as well as the workout room.

A very nice hotel, well situated with an helpful staff and good equipment. The only thing I will criticize is the fact that the WIFI isn't included in the price.

This hotel is located in a walking distance from the Visalia down town area. Sequoia National Park is less than an hour away. Plenty of good eateries around, and fairly convenient. Staff were all friendly and polite. We booked for a two double sized bed room, but at the check-in, we found out they were all sold out and we ended up with one king size […] bed room. This had happened before with Marriott, in Santa Monica which I find it a little irritating. The room did not have a fridge, but they offer a small-sized fridge you can rent for free. WiFi is there, but it is not free. In today's modern world, it just makes them less competitive..... But, overall, this was a good stay for the money. We enjoyed our short stay in this very lovely hotel. Management is top rate. Only small complaint is the pool and pool area is very small for such a large hotel.

We stayed at the Marriott for two nights whilst we explored Sequoia National Park, our family consists of two adults and two teenagers and our standard two queen bed room was big and comfortable enough though the lack of a refrigerator was dissapointing and charging for internet was another minor irritation - but we did get a good rate so I can't really […] complain. The pool was clean and with plenty of chairs. The downtown area was about 5 minutes walk and there were plenty of decent restaurants and bars. The front desk staff were very helpful with advice and suggestions for acitivities within Sequoia and I would recommend the hotel if you want to visit Sequoia and don't like the idea staying in some of the 'one horse towns' nearer the gates. Overall, it was a nice stay. This is a nice hotel and one can tell that it has been remodeled. It was also very clean. The only disappointing experience was asking for a refrigerator: it took too much time to actually have it in our room and it was in a very bad shape (old, scratched and very small) .

This hotel was remarkable....great in every respect. The service was impeccable, and the room was beautiful. I had no idea what to expect, after weeks of hotel life, but this was one of the best we stayed at for our whole western adventure.

The hoel was convenienty located, modern with necessary amenities. The room was large and well furnished. All the staff members were very helpful.

I stayed there one night with my husband and my 1 yr old son. It was very child friendly and clean. They brought us a refrigerator to our room to store his milk. The room was beautiful and the bar downstairs was great. We ordered breakfest through room service it was delicious and delivered in less than 15 minutes! My friend and I had tickets to a concert at the Visalia Fox Theatre. We stayed at the Marriott in hopes of being able to walk to and from the venue. It was very close, the sidewalks very well lit, and we were not afraid to walk the 6 blocks to the theatre. We visit Visalia often and have stayed at this Marriott before. This time wad "different." We couldn't drive into the parking lot with verifying our reservation or later showing the room key. The free lobby internet service was discontinued. The room had been cleaned, but on the desk were the remains of someone's lunch, including the napkins and foil […] wrapper. A very loud band played downstairs well into the night and others in the elevator complained to us about it the next morning. ... next trip... I'll try the Comfort Suites. Uzziniet vairāk
