The hotel was beautiful! I loved how close we were to the river. The only thing that was disappointing about the hotel was the room cleanliness mainly the bathroom. The shower was was clogged up and the water would not drain while showering...other than that i enjoyed my stay and will probably return again..

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. This definitely gives Wyndham a bad name. The room had mold, stained toilets, chipped paint, wet carpet, and it smelled! JUST AWFUL!

The hotel is old and the rooms are run down. It was not clean and stains were found on the linen and towels. For the price of this hotel, it is definitely not worth it. I enjoyed the room with a great view, staff was very nice, breakfast very good. The surrounding area pretty much diserted, but the water taxi can take you where the action is. LOVEd the water taxi. The hotel need to repair the room doors, my door and neighbors room door would slam shut everytime. Very loud.

The lobby is very good. The rooms and rooms areas need repairs. It is not bad but you can see it needs repairs. The only place for parking is valet $12 x day

Overall a great experience. The breakfast buffet in the morning was awesome and I had purchased a room with a complimentary breakfast. It was definately worth it. Room was quite nice but you can see particularly in the bathroom that it is beginning to age. Not bad but noticable. I would stay here again though.

Beds are one of the most comfortable i have ever slept in as far as hotels go. Hotel is nice, in a great area and the rates are more than fair. Would stay here again and highly recommend this place to others.

The room was very old. I told the receptionist about reviews of old rooms and she said she was putting me in a nice one. Well, the room was awful. It smelled horrible (had to buy air freshener), the blanket was dirty and the sheets weren't comfortable. Couldn't wait for the night to end.

The location of the hotel was great - right off of Interstate 95 and near the riverwalk. The lobby of hotel was very appealing but the room was old, damp and musty. The staff was very friendly and our overall experience was positive. The room smelled of carpet cleaner/deodorant to cover the musty smell. The a/c made it difficult to find a happy medium temperature. The last remodel left several details unfinished. It made me feel the room wasn't clean even though it appeared clean. I didn't like that there was no parking OTHER than valet. If there was sufficient surface parking, self parking should be an option. It wasn't properly disclosed in the hotel info.

It was a nice clean room, although for what they charge for the room you would think a continental breakfast would be included, then to charge you 10$ a day just to park in there parking lot is ridiculous. no microwave or fridge in the room either.

We were very disappointed in the rooms at this place. They need some work and updates like light fixtures and sockets. Room was clean but had the smallest bathroom ever and the door look like someone had to break in. Our stay was fine and the people were really nice but I wouldn't go back.

I was excited to book the "WYNDHAM" at such reasonable rate, however the hotel was not in a convenient location. Also it was disclosed on the amenities that you have to pay to park. Although I prepaid online I had to give them a incidental deposit upon arrival. Which I gave in cash and when checking out they had no record of my deposit and had charged […] me for parking AGAIN! The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and had water damage. I was not impressed by this chain and would not recommend it to anyone. The foyer was amazing; great first impression. Then, we we went up to the second floor, the hallways leading to our room were completely worn out and disgusting; it looked like we were in a different hotel. Our room was fine, and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't appreciate the parking was mandatory valet; I would have preferred an option of self-parking. […] I also wished the breakfast opened a bit earlier; we had to leave before we could eat. They do need to remodel (old carpet, new furniture in lobbies). However the staff was very very friendly and it made up for the shape of the hotel. They breakfast buffet was a little expensive but was very good.

Ok stay. The room needs some odvious repairs, dry wall caved in but not repaired properly before new wall paper was put up. Wall paper coming loose at edges. Stains on shower curtain, old towels with thinning areas, cracked sink, etc.. Funiture needs repair as well. View was of lower level roof which had debri from AC repairs left on roof for some time. […] Public areas and elivators need more attention to detail cleaning as well, some sort of organic fluid was dried on one elivators wall panel. The hotel staff was very friendly and I give them high marks. The Room is what I had a problem with. My room was very outdated and there were several broken things in my room. The entry door was defective, the safety lock was broken, the tile in the bathroom was falling out, and there was a hole in the wall.

The Wyndham Riverwalk was very impressive when you first walk in the door. The lobby looks very inviting and clean. Once we checked in, it was like entering into another hotel entirely. The room we stayed in smelled like smoke. The bathroom was so tiny, a child couldn't take a shower comforatbly. There was a chair in the room that broke when my husband […] sat down (he is 160lbs). The stay was fine until the last day. I read in the hotel info that continental breakfast was free, or you could pay for a buffet-style breakfast. All I wanted was a muffin and milk for my children before we got on the road. I waited for 15 minutes for someone to bring me a to-go box, and then, as I was putting the muffin in the box, the waitress tells […] me that it is going to cost $8 per person. I politely explained that I thought continental was free and that all I wanted was a muffin, and she replied that perhaps she could accept a discounted fee for the breakfast. I kindly have her the box back, returned to the room, gathered my things, and promptly checked out. Ridiculous! We came all the way from Miami to the Eric Clapton Concert. The Hotel location is great. It seemed that in the past was a great hotel. Is like, it stayed in that time, 20 years ago. Somewhat of a disappointment to see a Wyndham is such ill repair. We would not have stayed there, but we came to Jacksonville for my neice's wedding. The hotel needs some major work. Overall this hotel was great. Only thing that I had a problem with was the shower. It looked that there was rust in the shower and on the tile above that they could just take care of easily. Its the small things.The service was great but they didn't tell me that I had to pay for valet parking that you have to do.
