Bed was dirty, pillow had dirt on it and hair!!! If it wasn't so late when we arrived with our two kids, we would have left. Also the room pics made it look rather spacious but it was soooooo small!!! Neighborhood was a little sketchy as well. Oh well ya live and learn, where not to stay again. F

"Great overnight for ou road trip"
Very nice stay. We selected This hotel because it is pet friendly. We weren't disappointed. Great location--PetCo just around the corner. Nice grassy areas to walk your dog. Quiet street.
"Nicely remodeled hotel"
Great hotel - lovely remodeling done and very clean! My only advice would be to bring your own pillow. The pillows are like giant bricks. Tossed and turned all night on them - my husband did too. The bed was very comfortable but those pillows, not. Everything else was A+.

I could ignore the fact that this was the smallest room I ever stayed in, but not the completely overwhelming smell of air freshener that hit me as soon as I walked in. It's a non-smoking facility - what do they need to cover up?

"One of the best Red Roof Inn's"
The location was great, the hotel was very nice, recently renovated, friendly staff, a mall across the road with a Ruby Tuesday's what more could you ask for......oh yeah, the price was the best part of it!!!!! Would definitely be returning on our way into NYC.
"Good Room at a low price"
We had a nice room with microwave, refrigerator, and a safe. The desk was conveniently laid out and free Wi-Fi was included. Comfortable bed.

"surprising"
Only stayed one night but was very surprised at how nice it was. I had the king special room(don't remember the exact name) Comfortable bed, clean, new design with desk etc. I will be staying there again. I hope other red roof inns are like this one.

we stopped at the Red Roof on our way back to New York and only picked it because of the location & ease of access. Well, it certainly did the job and the room was also very decent, larger than we expected, with a fridge & microwave, which came in handy as the 'restaurants' nearby seemed to consist exclusively of fast-food chains. very good for the price, the only thing they just left coffee for one day and I stayed two, they didn't serve the room, but I cannot complain I mean I am not too demanding so I got what I needed.

The hotel check in was great, 30 seconds and we were able to get our keys and head to our room. The room was clean, but very, very, overwhelmingly hot. We tried multiple times overnight to adjust the heat, turn on the a/c, it was probably about 85 degrees. The beds were okay, a bit on the soft side. Microwave did not work, which was a bummer because […] we had leftover dinners to heat up. But, the location was perfect. Right off the highway, across from a mall, lots of restaurants and stores to choose from. For the price, and all in all, the stay was well worth it. About ten minutes from Binghamton. Uzziniet vairāk

Excellent location, ideal to spend the night in the way to major cities in the east (NJ, NYC), has shopping, restaurants and groceries stores nearby and the price is good also.

Desk staff was very friendly and check in at almost 11pm was fast and efficient. Motel is surrounded by a shopping center that was virtually deserted and quiet. Room was clean and ok for 2 people. Bathroom is tiny but clean. There was no literature in the room to know what services were available. There were no vending machines in sight. Room had a […] fridge and micro but no coffee maker. Worst thing about the room was the bed. I like a firm mattress but sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable. The reservation was handled very well, reservation staff was very accomidating when 1st Floor room was requested, Room was clean and warm. The bed was comfortable and the TV and Wireless connection worked. The bathroom and sink fixtures were somewhat outdated but functional. Overall it was a very satisfactory stay

I was in Binghamton for business and appalled by the ratings for the hotels with more reasonable rates. I took a chance and won with Red Roof, cost convenience and comfort-wise.

Just looking for a basic stay while on the way elsewhere; found Red Roof after many others were booked up. Room and amenities were fine. Bed was average to marginal (not much padding, a little soft)--but my dodgy back didn't complain. Edges of the room not pristine; picky reviewers might have a fit over that. We go to Binghamton at least three times a year and always stay at the Red Roof in Johnson City. We have never been disappointed with the hotel or the staff. Very, very nice. All very clean. Great location, great view, close to restaurants and the mall.
"Convenient and inexpensive"
Convenient to the university but not too close. access across the river was difficult but that was not the hotels fault--major freeway overpass construction summer of 2011. Room was quiet, clean, and had what I needed. Will use this franchise again.

"Room smells terrible"
There's one thing I can't stand in a hotel: a room that smells like stale, bad smells are being covered up with some kind of artificial spray that smells no better. So that overpowered every other aspect of this hotel experience. The bathroom smelled moldy; then I found a washcloth with black mold on it somehow tangled up in the top of the shower curtain. […] Other than that the room was very clean. I'm not sure where the smell comes from. The beds were comfortable. It seemed bare bones; not even a hairdryer. A clean, comfortable motel near Mall, just across bridge from Binghamton U. Free WiFi. No breakfast. Only complaint was non-smoking rooms smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Not the Ritz, but sufficient for night or two.

Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. Room was small but clean. The mattress could have been stiffer. Would stay again if I had a reason to be in Binghamton.
