"Convenient to morial convention center"
Very nice hotel. Comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!
"Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center"
The staff was friendly. The Hotel had a broken elevator, broken washing machine - the only one in the Hotel, and the tv cable wire kept falling out of the back of the tv - difficult when traveling with young children who need "down time". The location was just far enough from the hub of N.O., but still within walking distance to everything.

"Gotta get back there..."
My family and I had to do an early check-out so we didn't stay the night. But we were really pleased by the room and the staff. We were lucky enough to find an available and free park by the hotel. We're planning to visit New Orleans again in the very near future and this will be the hotel we'll book.
"Not as good as it looks"
We stayed on the second floor and it was terrible! Do not plan on sleeping after 6am because you will hear every chair scooting around in the breakfast area. When we complained about it, the staff acted like they had never heard this complaint. After complaining a second time to another group of staff, we were told that the noise was worse on the 3rd […] floor!!! If you do stay here request a room on the 4th floor or above. Uzziniet vairāk

Recent rehab, everything in the room appeared brand new, super clean, staff were very friendly. One the best places I've stayed. Short walk to French quarter, right across the street from the convention center. Very good location.

I was very worried after reading some bad reviews but we loved this hotel. We got a great mobile exclusive rate. Well worth it! Walking distance to the Riverwalk and French Quarter. The only complaint I would have is parking. You have to pay to park ($26 + tax each day). Other than that, great hotel!

Great place to stay, the beds were soooo comfortable. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The complaint is the parking is expensive and they only offer valet.

I am soooo HaPpY that this fab hotel got a much needed face lift!! I've enjoyed the last 6 Mardi Gras with this property and saw it at its worst. To my surprise this last Mardi Gras learned that it was under new ownership and all Hotel Rooms had been Renovated I was over the moon!! "Nice"
Nice hotel...walking distance to surrounding attractions. Had to pay an additional fee for parking, but you would have to pay for parking anywhere. The hotel was under construction,but it was barely noticeable.

Still doing some construction....hotel was renamed during my stay, valet parking a little stiff at $30/night...but overall nice hotel, great location.

We took the remodeling special, so there was no bar or restaurant, and no breakfast at the hotel. The lobby was not clean and the staff seemed indifferent. The fire alarms work really well (6:30 am), so I guess that's a plus. Easy walk to Emeril's or Tommy's Cuisine and the arts district, which is a can't-miss. "Should be nice after ongoing renovation"
The renovation work made it hard to appreciate the overall quality of service but my room, which had been renovated, was very nice and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, the warehouse district is safe and has many restaurants, bars and art galleries. We were attending a convention at the convention center (across the street), so the location was great. We paid a renovation rate, so I was willing to put up with noise of construction. As we were out all day, the construction was very little bother. It was because of the renovation that I was able to get the location I wanted at a rate in my budget. The Hotel was under remodeling. They were in the process of converting to Hyatt Place. Little Dusty. Must be finished by Mid March 2012. Right next door to Convention Center. Walking Distance to Hilton River Hotel.
It was nice hotel but.... They were doing up grads to the hotel working tell 10 at night and im sure later but was too tired to get up and see what the noise , the lady at the front desk was not nice any time i talked to her even on the phone, the vale car took a hour late and i was late to meeting , i was not happy at all
"Will be nice when it's finished, but..."
The hotel was really nice, but under construction. Normally, it's something I don't mind but at 7am every morning, the hammers (directly next to our room) and saws were making a horrible racket. It was a nightmare and a headache.

We received a discount for the construction that was underway. I believe that when the construction is completed, this will be a great hotel for all persons attending any events at the convention center. About a 15-20 min walk to the French quarter. Overall, the staffing was adequate. Room was missing wash cloths and ice bucket. Construction began early […] on Saturday and Sunday morning. And continued throughout the day. Good overall but the room was not cleaned after the first night and when mentioned to the front desk I thought some reduction was in order, but was not offered.

It will be a 5 star when they convert to the Hyatt in March. Other than the construction in the main floor, I was very impressed with my room.

"Great Hotel"
This hotel was close to all things New Orleans- Other than the parades going on during Mardi Gras it was easy to find. They are doing some remodeling in the building. Check in is at 3 but they were able to get me a room shortly after 12. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the New Orleans area.

I was overall pleased during my most recent stay at Hotel New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Employees were quite helpful and the room was more than comfortable. I will most definitely stay in this hotel again!!
Service was bad. We would call and request things like towels and at one point they told us they didnt have any towels! Then when i asked again they said they did but then took an hour to bring them. The hotel is under construction and each morning we were woken up by the sound of hammering as if it were right in our room walls! "Hotel NO"
The hotel is under renovations. There will be morning when you will wake up to the sounds of drilling as we were on the first morning of your stay. The Wifi connection is very poor. On the last night of our stay, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. At no point the following day did management make an apology or offer an explanation as […] to why it went off. Massive construction in the central atrium with extensive noise from 6AM til 10pm, drills, jackhammers, workers yelling. NO WATER DURING THE DAY. I was not told there would be construction, and not told the water will be off. This hotel should not be available for booking. "Construction Zone"
This hotel seemed like it would be nice. However it was underconstruction which we were NOT told. from 8 to 6 pm everyday contractors and workers were drilling, fiing and building. The water was turned off every day for about 3-4 hours which was a HUGE inconvenience. I was not pleased with the hotel regardless of how close it was to the convention center. […] It should have been closed during the construction which will not be finished until march 2012 some time. It made the stay not enjoyable. Parking charges were 28.00 a night...and they would not negociate the charge. They Parked car in lot next store. Hotel under renovation..

Hotel was undergoing massive renovation. I wasn't there during the day, so the noise wasn't a problem. The room was brand new and immaculately clean and comfortable. Not to call names, all the staff was very nice except for one counterperson named Will, who was a complete JERK!

Under renovations therefore no restaurant facilities, this was the only negative to an otherwise good experience.
