"OK but needs improvements!"
When we arrived and wanted to check in we waited at least 15 to 20 minutes and no one came so we rang the bell,we heard a flush of the toilet and then finally someone came to check us in. She explained everything well but we were surprised at the FEE to take our grandchildren swimming!! I understand that it is not a public swimming pool but we have […] never been charged before at any other motels!! Your waterslide and pool is NOT that spectacular to charge a fee for a few xtra people who are with the guests who paid to stay there! Unless you really love your carbohydrates, your breakfast really did not impress me. We were told that the exit door we would be using was tricky and she was right, during the freezing and windy weather we had to fight this door to open!! If you know it is broke, please fix it! And finally we really didn't appreciate the fact that our room was NEVER cleaned, beds were not made, coffee & etc, was not restocked when we left during the day during our stay there! "just ok, not great.."
Several items need painting and redoing in the hotel. All of the doors were full of screw holes and just looked run down. Towels were cheap and two different colors???? My daughter loved the various pools. At 2 1/2, she's fearless so she had no problem going between the 2 pools - the kiddie with a small slide and the adult with the 150' waterslide. Hotel was average interstate hotel. They have a water slide, nice size hot tub.
