The assigned room faced a busy street with no sound-proofing; it was very noisy. Housekeeping skipped the room after the first of two nights. On request, towels and cups were provided. No glasses or mugs, just paper cups. Won't stay there again.

This hotel is extremely close to the convention center. I was a little worried when I got there. I love the shuttle that runs every 5-10 minutes that will take you downtown. This is absolutely the best priced hotel downtown.

is that our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The location and overall convenience of this hotel more than made up for the smell. The diner attached to the place was fantastic, we ate there on arriving..about 10:30pm on a Friday. The service was fast, the food was good and the prices were fair. The whole staff was very nice. It is located right down […] from the convention center which was great because I was in town for a roller derby bout that took place there. I stayed for 6 nights for the price of 2 or 3 elsewhere... but you get what you pay for. Example: the sink was not cleaned in three days. Very skimpy cleaning job. Overall it was adequate but in future I will pay more to go elsewhere.

The location of this hotel is great for touring Chatanooga by foot as it is close to all of the attractions, however it could use a bit of asthetic improvements.

The keys to my first room - I could not get to work. Asked for another room. Those keys were also quirky, but did work enough not to have to report. The position of my room was very noisy. People talking right outside my room most of the night & early in the morning. The best value for a motel near the convention center. My room was reasonably priced, clean, comfortable, and convenient. I parked my vehicle right outside my room. The microwave and fridge were clean, and the room had new carpet and furnishings with a very comfortable mattress. The front desk staff very knowledgable about the city. For the rate (at least $40 below any other hotels in the area), the hotel was perfectly fine. Room was clean and smelled good, but was basic like you'd expect for its star-rating. The location is perfect -- walking distance to the Creative Discovery Museum and Aquarium (or you can take the shuttle), which were our destinations for the weekend. The hotel was in the perfect location. It was literally downtown. I was able to walk every where I wanted to go. I felt safe in the area. The price was extremely reasonable and I will be returning.

I was in Chattanooga for a conference at the convention center and the Days Inn was a third of the price of the conference hotel attached to the convention center. For the price, the location was awesome - right across the street from the convention center. However, my room was not very clean. I found several long pieces of hair in the bed, hairs in […] the shower, and on the towels. It definitely needs an update and it was a little sketchy at night. The diner that is attached is open 24 hours and was very popular and tasty. If you need to save some money, I would recommend the Days Inn, but keep in mind that you get what you pay for. I've been coming to Chatanooga for almost twenty years and this was the first time my wife and I stayed at this hotel. I'm sorry that it took us this long to find such a great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable, within walking distance of where we wished to go and offered all of this at a comfortable price. We would definitely stay here again […] and would highly recommend it to others. The attached diner is all one could ask for. Their motto is, "Good food and plenty of it". We felt no need to take our dining needs to any other location for the three days we were in town. I book this hotel because of price and location. I travel about 15 times per year. This hotel from the outside seemed a little outdated. The room appeared clean as you walk in, however upon further investigation, it could have been cleaner. The room contained a lot of dust. This is a great location for a hotel, but this hotel wasn't great. The room had trash on the floor (out of immediate sight, but still there) and while we we're sitting on the bed, one of the children yelled and I turned around and there was a giant spider crawling on the pillow of the bed. It was extremely noisy all night. I stayed here overnight during a road trip back home. It is in a good spot, easy to get to from the highway, and walking distance from restaurants. The front desk called shortly after I got settled in to my room, asking if everything was OK, which was a very pleasant surprise. Since the location *is* so convenient, it also means you can hear cars driving […] by the highway late at night (I was on the third floor facing the highway; I'm sure if you were on the other side of the hotel or even on a lower level, this wouldn't be an issue). I was a little skeptical from reading some of the reviews of this place, but was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful, and a few minutes after being in my room, i received a call from the front desk to make sure everything was ok, which it was. I had a nice king bed, and the room also had a small desk, […] and microwave/fridge, as well as a safe. I was able to park at the ground level, and was just two steps from my car....very convenient. I was so shocked when I got into the bed. The blanket smelled perfume and smoke from the previous residents.

We booked a last minute weekend getaway to Chattanooga, and this place was perfect. The shuttle was right at our doorstep, City Cafe had great food 24/7, and all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice-- hot showers, and the bed was comfortable. The only "complaint" I might have had was that the heating unit really only had two […] settings, "OFF" and "ON", so it got a little warm in the evenings. SPEND THE EXTRA $$$$ STAY SOME PLACE ELSE

This was my first stay at this hotel and I was a little leary of the location but it was near where I was working. The first room was poolside non-smoking but the room smelled like smoke. They gave me a room in the front of the hotel so I was able to park right in front of my door. It was not noisy either and the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. […] The shower was great with plenty of water pressure and a high shower head. The wi-fi was sufficient and the room had a fridge and microwave but the TV was older. I walked 3 blocks to the Market Street Tavern for dinner and there is a 24-hr diner attached to the hotel and you got a 10% discount for staying at the hotel. All in all, a pretty good stay. We booked this hotel for a family mini-vacation to the Aquarium. The room was very clean, front desk staff was very welcoming and professional. We also loved the attached diner the food was fantastic and the portions were extreamly large. We were initally worried before arriving because the price was so low compared to other hotels in the same area, […] but I have to say my fears were unwarranted. Days Inn in Chattanooga is a great place to stay. We try to go to Chattanooga 3-4 times a year and always stay there. It's close to downtown and has a shuttle in front of the hotel. Very clean room and nice staff.

Great locatoin for my purposes. Convenient to downtown shuttle line. Price was right and furnishings were adequate. Maid did not show up during a 2 night stay. Management was properly apologetic upon checkout. Good food at on-site diner.

Would not go again. ok for overnight stop. but in need of updating, smelt very musty, air con I think. No really for the holiday maker, although there is a great cafe next door that does great meals and cakes and the staff are lovely.

This hotel had the lowest price I could find in the immediate downtown Chattanooga area. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and walking distance to restaurants, bars, sightseeing. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that at night the parking lot became completely full, but the hotel staff was very accomodating and reimbursed […] us for our overnight parking in the deck across the street. I was very pleased with the hotel. It was in good condition, good location, clean, comfortable...everything I was looking for and the price was good, too.

The attached restuarant was great, good food and lots of it. The rooms were clean and staff very friendly. The hotel bar was lots of fun as well.

We chose this hotel due to it's close location to the aquarium and the good rating of the neighborhood. We weren't at the hotel for more then a half hour and our vehicle was broken into. They smashed a window with a rock and took everything they could get their hands on. The hotel staff was no help at all stating "yeah we have a lot of homeless people […] down here who break into cars at hotels." would have been nice to know this before booking here. I did not feel safe the rest of the night and do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you must stay here do not park in back. Park as close to the front desk as possible. Uzziniet vairāk

Our party of four adults greatly enjoyed our two-night stay at the Days Inn at Rivergate in Chattanooga, TN. The free shuttle stopped close to the hotel which reduced driving and saved on fuel. Our only complaints are very minor and involve housekeeping: not enough towels were available upon our arrival and we had to request more the next day; used […] cups were not removed nor were new ones provided; a fresh bath mat was not left for our second day. For 4 people, one bathroom and one sink was inconvenient. Small breakfast would have been appreciated. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

I was not satisfied with my stay. There were people up at all hours of the night outside my door talking and carry on and I was unable to get a good nights sleep.

The hotel is very convienent to attractions in Chattanooga. There is a CARTA shuttle stop at the motel. The City Cafe is attached to the motel and the food was wonderful. We were able to park with no issues. Felt safe at the motel. Our room was not as clean as we would have liked (we did not feel like we could take a bath and took showers instead) and […] the water in the shower never really got hot. We were not interested in moving to another room and there seemed to always be a line at the front desk so we did not complaint. I've stayed here twice on a mission to secure my daughter's spot at UTC: once alone and once with my husband. We felt safe in this area. Perfect access to downtown, including a great Starbucks just 1 1/2 blocks away at the base of the Sheraton. The night guy at the front desk is amusing and full of information. We ate at the City Diner: lots of food […] and not overpriced. Not gourmet but solid. We spent more to stay at the Sheraton and received a spacious room with broken AC; the AC at Days Inn kept me cool. Just know parking is tight if you look for a spot in the mid- to late-evening. I was Very Pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Shuttle service right outside to aquarium area, but not a bad walk, especially if you could use the exercise like myself. For the money, It's hard to beat in that area.
