The hotel staff is really good, the premisses are good and clean. The room is comfortable and clean, but it is too dark! The breakfast is not bad, but there are few choices. The only single thing that made me uncomfortable is: The staff solemnly ignores the "do not disturb" sign. Every single day of my stay there, about noon, the cleaner staff came […] knocking on my door and if I do not open it she would get inside anyway! Also, the sign is ignored to the point she would clean the room anyway, rearrange your objects and change all towel and bed sheet. This is really annoying. Apart from that, everything is grand. Hotel is in a good location; close enough to walk to several sights, as well as Milano Centrale Station. Breakfast was varied and pleantiful. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous. Rooms are fairly dated and small, but adequate.

Lot of building and roadworks going on ready for Expo 2015. 10 min walk to Metro, tram and bus outside hotel. Milan can be very hot, in the high 90s so the air-condition was most welcome and worked well. Breakfast a bit samey and not a lot of choice. The staff on reception were brilliant.

The hotel was clean and central; about 5 minutes from Republica metro station. The staff were lovely; unfailingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Excellent location, with very helpful staff. Went with my teenage daughter who has different interests / priorities to me, but we both really enjoyed our stay here. Minor quibble would be that the bath / shower is very deep which would make it very difficult for those who are not very mobile to use. I love Italy and there always seems to be something […] that something isn't working - in our room it was the blind - but that is nothing unusual in my experience. Hotel Cervo is fairly decent - the location is convenient - it's about two blocks from a Metro stop and right next door to a Carrefour so you can grab cheap water and snacks to save some money on your trip. The downside of the hotel is that it's pretty dated, the bed covers scream Mad Men and the thermostat is basically two unlabeled buttons with a […] little disc to control the temperature. Speaking of the AC, it cannot be turned on before 2pm. The AC also automatically turn off sometime early in the morning. It did get pretty warm in our room and there was no screen on the window so bugs would get in if you open the window for some cool air. The hotel was quite close to train station, only 15mins walk about. Little market just beside to stock up on water and fruits for your daily expeditions. Small rooms with private bathroom but pretty clean. Very decent breakfast buffet in the morning.

The room was small and cramp, there was a filthy noisy air conditioning unit . No communication or offer of refreshments from hotel staff on arrival from a long journey. The buffet breakfast was limited, no fresh fruit or a range of hot food. The area was clean and well presented may be because it has to be for the authorities.

The Hotel Cervo is very conveniently located near Piazza Reppublica, close to the Metro and several bars and restaurants. It's a short walk to the main railway station, where you can get a bus to the airport. It's also near a lovely big public park/garden. My single room was very small, but otherwise perfectly acceptable, and for Milan it was reasonably priced. The staff were professional, and friendly enough, but it's not a hotel with any atmosphere. In short, I think its main virtue was its convenient location. If I returned to Milan, I'd look around for other options, but I'd be perfectly happy to stay at the Cervo again if need be. We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Cervo. First, the location was great. It was about a 15-minute walk from the central train station (you can also take a one-stop subway/metro ride) and about 5 minutes from the nearest metro stop. I would NOT recommend this hotel! Our heater didn't work in December, there were cigarette burns all over our comforter, limited hot water, and tiny, dingy, smelly rooms. First the positives; - clean room. - quiet room (was not facing street). - good size bathroom; tiled with plenty of hot water. - friendly staff. - nice, complementary breakfast (not just contiental breads). - 5 minute walk to Republicca metro station, 10 minute walk to Centrale train station, 20 minutes to Il Duomo. Negatives; - tiny room (my single […] bedroom was the size of a large walk-in closet). - very poor lighting in the room (2 small light fixtures). - only 1 floppy pillow. - world's smallest elevator (big enough to hold 1 person with a roller suitcase, or 2 normal size people with no luggage). - TV (flat screen) rests on top of a mini-fridge. - no closet or dresser to put away clothes. - no in-room safe, no safe behind lobby desk. - poor security (the key is old-fashioned lock key with a large plastic fob to prevent people from leaving with the key in their pocket). Anyone can walk up to the lobby and ask for the key to any room number; no one ever asked me for my identification. - the room door needs to be locked with a key from either the inside or outside (just closing the door does not lock it). - maid service begins at 8:00 am...a bit early when one is trying to get some rest. - the entire hotel is a bit outdated...wall coverings, furniture...feels a bit musty. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. The hotel itself could do with being updated, in some parts of the hotel, the wallpaper is being held up with sticky tape. L'Hotel Cervo è posizionato al centro di Milano, vicino alla Stazione Cntrale e alle principali attrazioni (Duomo, Brera, San Babila). Offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo e permette di soggiornare al centro di Milano ad un prezzo concorrenziale. Le stanze sono comode e ben arredate, le docce francamente non molto comode.

Dejlig oplevelse, god beliggenhed, tæt på centrum og tog/metro station, meget venlig personale, god morgenmad, supermarked lige ved siden af. Værelset var lidt mørkt men pænt og rent, stille, badeværelset med badekar.
