it is nice but when we stayed the elevator was not working and to wash clothes was on the 4th floor the computer was to old and slow and the breakfast was not really that good but the beds were really good ang the people were really friendly

it's a very old hotel. Looks very nice outside, but old inside. The breakfast area is too small. If 60% of the hotel is occupied, the breakfast area can not hold it. I get there 7:45 in the morning, but the milk already gone. I don't live the service. We had a rolling bed in the room. We left enough tip, but they only clean up my bed, not the rolling […] bed. When we book the hotel on Hotels.com, they said the King Deleux is 600sqft, but the room is not as half as what they discribed. I called the front desk, they said it is the roon. First off, plaza inn apparently doesnt associate with third party people. For example; we booked our rooms through hotels.com and they threw a little fit that we booked the rooms the wrong way. And on the website check out says 12 but it's 11. So lookout. Overall, For the price I thought I was going to get the worst room and unclean beds BUT I was […] definitely proven wrong. Only Bc majority of the hotels were rounded to $125, this one was around $90. I enjoyed my stay. Woke up early for a variety of different breakfast meals. From waffles to cereal and healthy yogurts. Left my room early for a busy day of site seeing and cleaning crew was already going to work. Every night I got back, my room was perfect. Lobby furniture wasn't too updated but the rooms furniture and bedding were definitely in good good shape. The location was perfect for everything I wanted to see. It's right off the exit,literally! It was a bit unsafe Bc as soon as you exit leopard st you have to quickly slow down merge and go through two more lanes to quickly enter the entrance of the hotel. Other than that I liked it's location, apparently leopard st is a main big street known in that area. It was across the freeway from the selena museum, which I highly encourage people to go check out and a short little u-turn and you are on a main highway. Not even 10 mins away from the bayfront. room is clean and service is good. it is located a bit too far from the downtown area. one thing i don't like is that the list price was $99 per day on hotels.com but when i made the selection the rate jumped up to $109.

I always enjoy my stay here, rooms are always clean and i really get some sleep when i stay here, not alot of door slamming and noise in the hallways! The breakfast is awesome in the mornings, hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, ceareal, oj and lots more! This hotel is worth the bucks! First of all, the hotel looks fine from outside. We checked in and were allocated a smoking room. I never request anything but non-smoking. When I queried this, I was told it wasn't specified on the on line booking and no other rooms were available. The room smelled stale and, yes, smoky. It was fairly standard size. There is a pool, but we didn't use […] it. We took advantage of the early evening manager's special, where free nachos and drinks were available. If you want to be by the sea at Corpus Christi, you need to look elsewhere - it was a 20 mile drive to South Padre Island. TERRIBLE! Do not stay here. Had a smoking room and did not book it that way. They would not even say sorry and would not move us. (we have small children) Horrible customer service, scary rooms! Trust me, don't do it!

The hotel is close to major highways so its an easy commute to local points of interest. The hotel maintenance was excellent. Very pleased with the breakfast, and complimentary beverages in the evening.

We stayed here with four kids and two grandparents. The service, food, hang out area, pretty much everything was great!!! Wish the beds were queens instead of doubles.

This Hotel was not worthy of the old hourly rates places you see in the movies, let alone rates you would expect to pay for a very nice hotel !!!! One of the towels had blood on it, the room smelled like a sespool, the bed felt like you had springs poking you in the back. I asked for an extra pillow, denied!!! Overall I was terribly disappointed

The Plaza Inn was a good deal for the money. The hotel itself is a little old, but kept clean. We had no problem with the room. Hotel staff was very friendly. Very nice stay. When our tub and sink drained slowly, front desk said they would contact the maintanence department; and it was fixed by evening. The breakfast on Sunday morning was delicious and plentiful. We will stay there again.

The hotel is super old. we had hotdogs that would be better cooked in a dorm room. the chairs were old and stained. the breakfast could have been cooked in a hotel room. not somewhere where you would pay for extras unless every other hotel was sold out.

Plaza Inn is easy to access from the Hwy. I arrived before the 3:00pm check in. Hotel clerk checked me in without hesitation. Staff is very friendly. Room was exceptionally clean. Free breakfast, consisting of eggs,sausage,waffles,bagles,coffee,soda and orange juice. Would recommend to travelers.

We were in Corpus for 4 nights for a swim meet and we needed a decent hotel located fairly close to the swim center. The Plaza Inn did it for us. On Saturday & Sunday, our swimmers needed to be in the pool at the time that breakfast started at the hotel. We were very surprised that we were served supper and quiet pleased. It saved us going out and trying to find something to eat that night. The swimming pool was nice and clean. Our room was small but clean and had all we needed for our stay. We felt secure with the locked gate in the back. All in all we very pleased with the motel.

This is a decent hotel with a good staff. The beds are small (2 full sized beds are more like 2 large twin), but comfortable. It is a good midway location with easy access to the museums, aquarium, USS Lexington, and Padre Island. The surface roads around here are awful though. The hotel breakfast buffet is nice, with hot eggs, sausage, biscuits, etc. […] The evening snack has been a reasonably satisfying meal most nights, but one night was just salad and nacho chips. This hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet that was nice. In the evening they offer complimentary snacks and drinks. Getting to the hotel is a little tricky if you aren't paying attention. The staff was very nice and I had a very pleasant stay. The price out weighs having to buy breakfast and dinner.
