The Comfort Inn in Clarksdale, Ms. was much better than the Comfort Inn in Cleveland,Ms. In Cleveland, our room did not even have a room number on it and the door would only close if you picked it up and shoved it closed. I was impressed by the standard of the room, compared to other comfort inns we stayed at during our Deep South road trip. The room was clean, and the furniture was good quality. The free breakfast was fine, nothing to rave about. We particularly like the free wifi and free parking. I would recommend this hotel. Clarksdale (downtown) itself is uncommercialised […] which is great - you can visit authentic juke joints. It did feel a bit unsafe at times with people hanging about in the dark. We stayed here during a popular music festival. Our reservations were mixed up, along with those of many other guests. We had requested an accessible room, was promised one, then found out that the guest staying in it had decided to extend his visit.
