Hotel had rooms under construction and tools in the hallway. Despite having a Ric's Grill restaurant in the hotel the food was mediocre at best and over priced. Nice hotel, pleasant staff. Right next to the Olympic Park, easy highway access. Not close to downtown. Not close to airport, but easy drive to it. Immediate neighborhood is like a rest stop, with gas stations and fast food, but nothing else.

The hotel had good spacious rooms. The location was a bit far from my daily destination, however it was close enough to make it work.

Staff was very good, room was spotless. 2 huge tv's which is cool. If there was one thing i checked in very late, 3 AM, asked maid to just make bed and it would be good but she said it wasnt her room. Although it was off on the west side, it was easy enough to get to where we needed to be and the staff was fantastic. Restaurant and Lounge were clean, friendly and service was great. Will stay again

Good hotel and good rate. Only complaint was the lights on the outside of the hotel made the room bright for sleeping.

Would definitely stay here again. Very nice rooms. Price was right. Location was good. Nice view of the COP (Canada Olympic Park) site. The only issue and it's a small one was that the vending machine on the 3rd floor was poorly stocked.

Across the street from Canada Olympic Park, minutes from downtown Calgary and only an hour from Skiing in the Mountains, the Four Star provides access to it all. The room was recently upgraded and provided just what we needed for a romantic getaway. Ric's grill, newly reneovated as well, would be great for business and dinner meetings. We stayed here as we had an early morning appointment in the city. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. (We had a king bed with separate sitting area) The price was very reasonable and we had absolutely no issues. The location was very convenient for accessing the NW side of Calgary. Room was very nice, we did have some issues with the A/C but maintenance did come to try and fix it, the restaurant was ok very slow service Only 2 pillows in a king size bed and no extra ones in the room :(

Hotel was a little squeeky (i.e. couch, doorknob), but it was a really nice place to stay. Room was clean and had lots of space (we had the Queen Suite), and was great for a family of four to stay in.

The hotel was lovely, the room, a king suite, was a perfect set-up for my husband, two kids and I. I believe our room was recently renovated-all new= very clean!!After a busy day the kids loved the pool-water slide as a big hit!

We previously stayed at the hotel next door and will go back there for aour next stay as it suited us much better. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the dining room crew. Even though the main dining room was under renovation during my stay, and staff had to make do with temporary dining room set up in a meeting room, they were cheerful and attentive. The breakfast buffet was a little limited, however everything was hot and tasty. My room was fresh and […] clean with new furniture and fixtures. It had independently controlled heating and cooling that worked very well, and large windows with good light. While right across the Trans-Canada highway from the Calgary Olympic Park, with a great view of the ski jumps, this hotel is also near the middle of nowhere. It's a $30 cab ride from downtown, and the local colour includes McDonalds, Wendy's, Greek take-out, a pretty good pizza place, two liquor stores and a carwash. If you're looking for nightlife, that's why they have cable TV. I've stayed here twice now, and will be happy to return. There is shuttle service to and from the hotel from downtown and Calgary airport, provided by Mr. Singh, who is perhaps one of the highlights of my latest stay. Check it out. Uzziniet vairāk

Hotel was quite satisfactory but was chosen because of proximity to son's home but is a $30 (incl tip) cab ride to downtown and a $60 cab ride to airport.

This hotel was acceptable for what I needed - a place to crash while on business. The area is not interesting at all (unless you are going to Canada Olympic Park which is nearby). The hotel was basic but clean and comfortable. Normal for this category of hotel. Free parking and internet were nice perks.

Overall fairly good stay at the 4 Points Sheraton in Calgary. The room was very clean.The staff was very nice and a good location very close to #1 highway that turns into 16 AVE while driving thru Calgary.Only minor problem was at the breakfast buffet the toaster was not working for the 2 days I had the breakfast buffet.

The room was tight for our family, the pool was small, packed and freezing cold with little space on the side to set down towels, etc. The morning buffet was 12 dollars - and was the quality of the kind you get for free at the Ramada or Holiday Inn. After reading the other reviews my family and I thought this would be a great place to stay...until we arrived! The staff was friendly and welcoming, the pool was about a 2 out of 5. VERY COLD!!Not suitable for young children. Good value for the price I paid. It is in the far west and is not close too much besides the Canadian Olympic Park. The elevator was a little disturbing, twice the door closed on me as I was entering and I lacked a little confidence in it.

We stayed here for our daughter's birthday as a surprise. The hotel staff was great in helping facilitate the surprise, we wanted to check in first and get balloons ready before she came in. I asked to switch the first room they had us in, it was on the main floor and looked right out at the parking lot, they gave us a room with a balcony no questions […] asked. The rooms look nice, but it smelled awful, as if it had been soaking in urine for days! I wasn't about to switch rooms again though since our little girl was outside waiting to come in so I opened a window and hoped the smell would fade. Then came bed time, neither myself of my husband got a wink of sleep because the bed was the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, worse than camping! The pillows weren't much better except that they were so overstuffed with feathers that we may as well have been sleeping upright. This was not what you expect in a hotel that bears the Sheraton name, even if it is a "Four Points". I wouldn't recommend staying here to my worst enemy until they clean the rooms (or use less stinky cleaning agents) and get new beds and pillows. Uzziniet vairāk

I have to admit that we wouldn't have picked this hotel, but was suggested to us. If you stay at this hotel you will need a car to get anywhere. It looks like they cater more for the conference set or group booking types. The ammenities of the hotel are OK (pool, gym, etc) they do have free internet that is reasonable speed. For us it was just that […] we didn't have a car and our friends had to pick us up all the time. The front desk staff seemed not to know (or care to much) when we asked questions, eg How do you get to Downtown? "Oh you need to get the bus and train" well thanks very much that helps a lot...not !! I spent plenty of time finding out my own answers on their free internet !! Another thing, we had to leave a note on the bed to get the sheets etc changed. Their compedium of info was light on, with the "Things to Do" folder empty !!
