We always have a great time when we stay at the Homewood Suites in Grand Rapids.

It was a great pet friendly hotel. No surprises at check-in. Very clean and well kept. The soft bed was wonderful. It was a little difficult to get in and out of the parking lot, but other than that it was a great place.

Excellent in every word. Staff, breakfast, clean room, just to name a few.

We stayed here after arriving into the airport late at night and waited until the next day before driving up north. Service was exceptional with a great breakfast in the morning and a friendly staff. You can tell that the hotel is a little more dated than other Homewood Suites, but I would definitely return for a visit.

I stayed for 10 days during the holidays in December and had a wonderful time. Friendly enviorment, free delicious breakfast offered daily, free dinners during the weekday, and courteous daily housekeeping. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, highly recommend it. Five stars '__'

We stay at this hotel every time we are in the area. It is our absolute favorite. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean & the location couldn't be better. We especially enjoy the hot breakfast and the dinner served Mon. - Thurs. evenings. While we do use the pool, it is a bit chilly at times. They keep it at about 80 degrees, but the air is cold so perhaps […] increasing the air temperature would make it feel less cold? Other than that, we've always been very happy with our stay there. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They were very hospitable from the front desk personnel to the people serving our breakfast in the morning. All made us feel at home and anytime we needed anything, they helped us get what we needed. Definitely will stay here again when we come visit family members.

You can tell the staff cares about their customers. From the minute we checked in, we were taken care of. The front desk personnel were always asking if there was anything they could do. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied from day to day. The only negative is the bed -- it was a little soft and as the other reviewer said, we did have problems […] with the sheets coming undone. It didn't ruin the stay for us though. It's a great value for the money. Because it's a suite, we still had a king-sized bed and my son had his own bed, the pull-out couch in the living room. This hotel was really quite nice . . . .except for one BIG problem. The fitted sheets on the beds do not fit at all!! The king size mattresses would have been OK, but the fitted sheets kept popping off . . . . .all night long!!! And due to the slippery fabric of the mattress pad. . . .we would wake up on the mattress itself! This was not just because […] there were two in our bed, because the same things happened to my son, my daughter and my mother-in-law and they had the king size bed all to themselves. We enjoyed eveything about the hotel. The only thing we didn't care for was that the food on the dinner and breakfast buffets was not hot.

The Homewood Suites surpassed my expectations. The suite was spacious and clean, and the hotel had so many amenities! I wish I'd been able to take advantage of the workout room and pool (stay was too short to do so). The complimentary breakfast had a lot of options and was fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend it!
