"A comfortable stay"
I enjoyed the complimentary extensive breakfast. The lounge area at the pool was an nice outdoor area to sit and have coffee. The hotel is not large which I like and doesn't have a bar so it is quiet. There are 5 restaurants within walking distance and order in service brochures availbe in the room. My room had a microwave and fridge which was handy […] for keeping drinks, fruit or take away items. It was my first time in Arizona and I was very happy with my stay at the Sleep Inn. We got to stay in this hotel over Thanksgiving, and they were nearing completion of a renovation of the hotel. Although, they seem to have waited until last to do the lobby, it was fine with me because the room we stayed in was fresh and new! Despite the almost overwhelming smell of fresh paint, the room was pretty and cozy and we really enjoyed the […] friendly service the employees gave. "Not Until Next Year"
This hotel is being renovated. They have very limited room selection, limited ability to switch rooms when problems arise, and no incentive to repair damage in the unrenovated rooms. I imagine this hotel will deserve another look after the work is completed next year. Under the circumstances it is difficult to comment on the room and the amenities […] because they will be changing. However here is the current state of affairs: The rooms are large ans spacious, but the bathroom is only large enough to hold a toilet and standing shower, there is no tub. The bathroom door does not lock (its a pocket door) so be forewarned if there is a need for privacy. The bedding and furnishings were worn but in usable condition. Due to the large old-fashioned tube TV there was very minimal desk space on which to work. There is no closet, just an open area in one corner of the room to hang clothing. There were various water leaks from the second floor that left portions of the carpeting wet. This was blamed by management on the construction work taking place on the upper floors. Uzziniet vairāk

You did get to sleep in,most hotels have a check out time of 11:00 AM Sleep In was at 12:00 PM. Also the 24/7 shuttle was nice you could go out to the clubs ,they would take you there and pick you up with just a phone call,,,npo DUI here! And the Breakfast they included was great,eggs,biscuits, gravy,waffels,milk,juice,fruit,,, very good.
I am so glad you decided to stay with us and not worry about driving or sleeping in the next day. Thanks for sharing your comments and rating. We will complete a total renovation of the hotel in late December, and hope that you like the improvements we have made on your next visit.

"Scottsdale Sleep Inn"
My mother has very little experience in hotel stays, so this trip was a treat for her, at 75. Little did I know what a delightful experience it would prove to be for me and my daughter, as well. From Jose, serving in the breakfast nook,who spoiled us, made sure my mother's every need was attended to, and went out of his way to treat the guests as though […] they were family... to the cheerful Spanish-speaking ladies who cleaned the rooms, we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. Working out was a pleasure, in the early mornings before the hot Arizona sun made outdoor exercise impossible. How spoiled I was, having a work-out room just down the hallway! And then, because of the long breakfast hours, I was still able to have a full breakfast, even after taking my time... And the readily-available computer in the main lobby was a means to keeping abreast of bank account balances, email and important messages from home. And the pool, with its birds - fed by Jose - and quiet, peaceful atmosphere was the cherry on top. Many memorable hours were spent there, enjoying God's creation and worshipping, with my family around me. We were impressed, would return for sure, and would recommend your hotel without hesitation. You even accomodated my daughter as an add-on guest, with no extra charge, or fuss, after a change in her plans. Great stay! Uzziniet vairāk

Staff was very courteous and accomodating. Continental breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable. Hotel was within walking distance of where I needed to go.

"Good Value"
The hotel was in a good location. Many restaurants are located nearby. The room was very clean but small. A good value for the money
Every thing was great, the room did have a fridge and microwave. The air conditioner/heater was not too noisy. The place was hard to find, it's tucked away.

Price was right for New Years. Near numerous bars you could walk to and a block off the main highways so road noise was almost nonexistent. Area is very safe and directly across the street from a major shopping, entertainment and eating centers. Room was very comfortable, wireless internet worked well and it had a coffee maker that I could my own filters […] and coffee blend. Morning breakfast was Ok, but would be nice to have some type of protein other than boiled eggs, but this appears standard at most Choice hotels (stayed at 4 this trip). Uzziniet vairāk

If I ever go back, this is the only hotel i will stay at. It was in a very convienient location. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was very clean. The only downfall was no mini refridgeorator in the hotel room, but there are vending machines in the lobby. Definitely recommend.

Our stay was very enjoyable. Everything was up to par. The service and the room were excellent. The hotel is located near some wonderful shopping areas and locationwise you couldn't do better. We would recommend it to anyone.

"Thunder Road..."
Decent hotel for the money, but the weekend I stayed there the "Good Guys" Car Show was at Westworld (a mile or 2 away). Many of the guests were attending the car show and sat outside my hotel room in their antique cars racing the engines at 6:30AM on Saturday and Sunday. They had no idea they weren't the only people in the world! It seemed like a biker/car […] convention on Friday and Saturday evenings. If you're not into the NASCAR crowd, you may want to avoid this hotel during car shows. By the way, when I called the front desk to complain about the noise, the conceirge said she didn't hear anything at all - which wasn't possible... Uzziniet vairāk
"Location, amenities, and rate were unbeatable!"
My Phoenix area exotic bird club brings in expert speakers on different species of parrots and other exotic birds 8 or 9 times a year for our monthly meetings. I housed our November guest speaker there for the weekend. I chose this Sleep Inn hotel mainly because of the special rate and our club's budget, but the location and amenities were the clenchers. […] The room was cozy, but very clean, stylish and inviting. Our guest, who claims that she normally does not sleep well in hotels, rested well. and felt secure in the second floor room with inside hotel access only. There were several good restaurants surrounding the hotel. Thumbs up on our lunch and beverages at "The Tilted Kilt" pub's patio next door. Another member and I were able to drive her around, but the hotel also has a complimentary shuttle for the seemingly infinte number of dining, shopping, and entertainment destinations located within 5 miles of the hotel. "Excellent Property in North Scottsdale"
We highly recommend this hotel! It's ideally located in North Scottsdale and because it's set back from the two closest cross streets, it's very quiet. All the rooms have been completely re-done; the beds are very comfortable, the decor is very updated and the shower is quite large and brand new. My only complaint was that the A/C was pretty loud. Other than that, great deal, with decent complementary breakfast.
"Bring earplugs..."
Basically speaking, this hotel isn't bad. However, the A/C units in all rooms (I've stayed here before) are VERY loud. If you're a light sleeper (or just like it quiet), bring earplugs. Time to replace them guys!

"OK for the money"
I have stayed here before and it is OK for the money. The location is convenient if you want North Scottsdale. On this trip, the room air conditioner was so loud it woke me up several times each night. Each time the compressor "kicked on" there was a loud noise and it actually made me "jump" once. This hotel needs to replace each room air conditioner […] immediately - it seems as though cheap units were installed to save money. On Sunday, my room wasn't cleaned until 4:30PM when I came back to get ready for the evening. Free breakfast is minimal (again saving money) and the juices are watered down. "Lock your car, put the alarm on....hope!"
The hotel isn't bad - unfortunately, there are many "indesirables" lurking in the area. I mistakingly left my GPS in my rental car - the window was smashed and the GPS was stolen out of the car. The police said you can't leave anything in your car overnight "anywhere in the Phoenix area these days".

"Good Buy but Hard to Find"
This is a good place to stay if you don't need anything fancy. It was clean and quiet and breakfast was fine if not wonderful. The ventilation in our room was not very good. It seemed sort of musty, and warm. We were fine there for one night however. Our main problem with the hotel was that the address is misleading. It is not on Scottsdale Road at […] all. It is pretty well hidden in a complex of buildings more or less on the corner of Scottsdale Road and Bell Road. I realize Scottsdale Rd. sounds classier, but I think a note on the website with more accurate directions would be a considerable help to many people. Uzziniet vairāk
