The Wingate was in really good shape--clean, well-maintained, well laid-out and all important things helpfully labeled. Staff were friendly and helpful, free parking, easy convenience off the interstate. Several chain restaurants within walking distance, but stay away from Glory Days. We do, however, have the same complaint each year. The free WiFi connection is very weak. Especially on the upper floors. Our stay here was great. We went for Valentine's weekend. The staff worked with my boyfriend, allowing him to get into the room early so he could decorate it for when we checked in! :)... They also worked with us in allowing us to book the same room for an extra night, after we last minute decided to stay in the area...The room was clean, spacious, […] and comfortable. Saw mold in bathtub so that immediatelty put me on edge makes me wonder what else is not up to par that I couldn't see..There was also no hot water in the afternoon when we arrived but later that night after we returned the water was smoking hot so that helped my attitude a lot. "Stop Over with Mixed Reviews"
Stayed here before and had a good time. However this trip was not that good due to the makeover on the 4th floor where we were placed. We had to walk through the construction plus the odor of lime from the "mud" work was very heavy. Fortunately it odor did not work its way into the room. "Lovely stay"
Lovely Hotel, huge room. Everyone was really nice, very helpful and the free breakfast good (hot and cold). the hotel is a bit far out of town but we got a very good rate so made up for the taxi in.
