"business travel"
THIS WAS MY THIRD TIME STAYING AT THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL. FOR THE FIRST TIME I CAN REALLY SAY THAT MY ROOM WAS NASTY. I REPORTED THE ISSUE WITH MY ROOM AND THE VERY NEXT DAY IT WAS CLEANED ACCORDING TO THE LIST THAT I TURNED IN AT THE FRONT DESK AND MANY OTHER THINGS WERE TAKEN CARE OF AS WELL. Good, solid wireless connection...never disconnected once. AND they provided the password without requesting it. Kind of puzzled why this hotel won't give wake up calls, but not that important for me.
"Personalized treatment"
Sarah the manager remembered me from a recent previous visit and recalled I liked the first floor. When I arrived she already had my room assigned. As usual when I arrive I'm exhausted and was so grateful for her remebering me.
"Housekeeping staff needs training and oversight"
I enjoy staying at this type of hotel because they are roomy and comfortable after a long day on the road. This one met that criteria, however the housekeepers never seem to move anything to dust and then they only do a once over lightly. I can not believe that this was the only room like this because there were areas of the room that had not been […] dusted in a long while. The coffee pot was even covered with dust. The mattress also had a bad mysterious stain on one side of the bed. The vaccuming was lacking as well. My wife is till soaking my socks to get the dirt out of them from walking around on the carpet. Called front desk and asked for another pillow and was told they were out of pillows. Also called front desk to ask for a wake up call for 0530 and didn't get it. Glad I set my alarm on my cell phone.

Good price for suite and everything you need for long stay. However, I was in a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke when fan was on in the bathroom. Also, comforter on bed had a lot of hair. Plenty of parking and good location.

PROS: Location Safety Kitchenette! With cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. Quiet CONS: Bare minimum bath stuff. (Facial and body soap only...no shampoo.) Bed was stiff and not too comfy.

good location and a great price. love the kitchenette in the room. only thing the smell of ginger were someone was cooking was in our room and the towels had that same odor
"good location for Dublin and Columbus Zoo"
Definitely not a direct competitor in quality for higher end suites. However, was relatively neat and clean, and in a good area. One issue was that certain tenants began cooking fish that were highly odiferous in their rooms in the late afternoon, which somewhat permeated the entire floor and even our room. "Good for the Price"
Was a night stay for a Buckeye game. Location was great. Close to shopping, food and about 20 minutse to the stadium. Room was nice. Beds are a bit hard. Heater went on every 10 minutes and was a little on the loud side. But overall, good place to stay for an overnight trip.

Wouldn't stay here again. The place smelled like smoke and was not very clean. The TV had a lousy connection and there was no hairdryer. On top of all that, they charge extra for internet service which I wasn't aware of before hand.

Very clean and convenient. Nice neighborhood and close to a lot of eateries, a mall, and a Kroger. Not to far away from the Columbus Zoo. The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable but overall it was a good stay. I really liked having a fridge and stovetop in the room. i made the kids breakfast.

"Awesome Location"
The location of the hotel is not only just miles from central Dublin but there was a Kroger near by within walking distance. A mall not too far and awesome shops and a great ice cream place just around the corner. I would recommend this place for a young working professional staying for a short term. The shower head was nice and powerful not like the […] typical weak ones i'm used to seeing. The room was clean, I had no noise problems and the staff was always prompt and friendly. The entire staff was extremely friendly. Hotel was clean and affordable. This hotel be a great choice for families on a budget who are spending several days in the Columbus area. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

My wife and I stayed over night and found this hotel to fit the bill. Friendly service, clean rooms and just the right cost. I would stay here again. Very close to the zoo as well.

Was a little upset when I got to hotel to check in the employee was sitting in corner behind the desk playing a game on her personal lab top. I stood there close to 5 min and had to ask if she was the one checking people in. She said yes then asked me if I needed to check in. ( like I would ask that question for the heck of it). The price was cheap and that was what we wanted for just a quick one night stay.The location was great and the the rooms were very nice and clean. I was using this stay for a test. We will be staying in Florida at another Extended Stay Hotel for 2 weeks this summer. We love the fact that the rooms have full kitchens. "Good for a business trip not for personal. . ."
I entered the hotel in the evening and I didn't feel welcomed. I almost wanted to walk out after walking in but since I already paid I might as well make the most of it. The night front desk clerk didnt say, "Good Evening, Welcome to Extended Stay America: How can I help you?" She just checked me in, told me the check out time, told me to fill out […] forms, told me that wifi is $4.99/night and didn't even say, "Thank you for choosing Extended Stay America, Enjoy your stay." I guess since this hotel is meant for a business trip then I guess she means business. Check in and check out. You get what you pay for... 1. No cable 2. The pillows were not comfortable 3. The Hotel in itself was very neat looking, an old bank, our bath tub had fresh and old mold in it, I could wipe some of it off with tissue, then there was slim in the drain, needless to say we did get a diffrent room, but come on, really? Breakfast could of been good, and it was for what we had,tho at 10 til 10 they would not put out any waffle mix […] for the late ones coming down, as it did close at 10, but 10 min. is 10 min. the help in the kithen was not friendly at all, just acted as if she didn't want to be there, very depressing for such a nice hotel. Hotel was easy to get to. I didn't like not having a hair dryer or shampoo available. When I ran the fan in the bathroom it pulled in the smell of smoke from either another room or outside. I would stay again at this location

Quite clean and 15 minutes aways from downtown Columbus and OSU's Campus.
When we walked in the room, it smelled, wasn't clean and very dated. We left the hotel and went elsewhere.
"This was a good Hotel for the Price"
The hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and although it was an extended room (kitchen) we didn't use the extras and only stayed 1 night. Not more than 20 min from our destination, the Columbus Zoo. My only complaint was that the pillows were very small for a queen size bed. When we asked for extra pillows they said " they didn't have any more!"

Arrived at Extended Stay late in night. Front entry way is under construction - had to duck under yellow tape. Checked into room. Air conditioning system didn't work. "decent living for down-to-earth people"
Arriving the first night after mid-night, I was checked in properly to a room on the second floor. I stayed there for three days. I was out most of the day time hours. I did not cook but the small kitchen is ready for those who are so inclined. Luckily there was no one jumping on the top floor albeit you can hear some one walking in the morning. I arrived late and the girl at the desk was very sweet and happy to see me. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable The alarm clock worked as they do not have a wake up call. I would stay there again and again. Having stayed the higher price hotels in the area this is beyond a bargain.

The hotel was average for the price we stayed. The room was filled with a very strong smell of smoke. The mattress was uncomfortable. The hotel was in a nice part of town so we felt safe. We used this hotel for a quick overnight stay and it served the purpose. Just looking for a place to sleep.
