We needed a place to sleep after a midnight landing and a noon departure so we looked for a close by hotel with shuttle service and a good price. The hotel was actually nicer than we thought it would be and the service from Jose, the nigh manager was top notch. We were given keys, but the room wasn't finished for some reason. Jose rushed up with keys […] to an upgraded room. The rooms are basic, but clean. The area is quiet. It was just what we needed. We actually stayed there again on our return flight. The only real issue is the hotel contracts the shuttle and the service is only from 6am to midnight so we had to cab it over. If you compare this to a 5 star, it's not. Stayed there this past Saturday night. Mike at the front desk was awesome. Great attitude and great service. Helped me with directions, food and printed my boarding pass.... all with a smile. They have two well-stocked vending machines for food and drink and they have free muffins, cereal bars, oatmeal, fruit and coffee waiting for you in the morning. […] They also have a washer and drier. My room was clean and comfty... a great value. (Another poster said that the hallway smells like smoke. I disagree. I never smelled smoke anywhere.) Was fine for us. Needed a place for 6 hours after landing at midnight. They have a shuttle but it stops at 11pm so cabbed it over. Desk was closed but we called and a gentleman Jose came right up and checked us in. We went to our room and the door was being held open with a coat hanger. Smelled of smoke so we think they were airing it out. Called Jose […] and he came right up and moved us to a different room. It was clean and comfortable. Sheets are poly instead of cotton but that's ok. Next morning got the shuttle back to the airport. Staying again in about a week because the the same situation. IT WAS VERY CONVENIENT TO AIRPORT FOR AN EARLY MORNING FLIGHT OUT. MISSED HAVING A CLERK PRESENT AT CHECK OUT, ESPECIALLY SINCE SHUTTLE SERVICE STARTED AT 5 A.M. FOR SOME. CHILDREN RUNNING IN THE HALLS AT NIGHT WAS DISTRACTING THOUGH. BUT UNDERSTANDABLE.

Checked in ok. Room looked ok for extended stay at first. Tables had not been cleaned. Bathroom was BAD! Stains on counter and bathtub was so filthy and stained I wouldn't take a shower. Tried getting a taxi ordered at 645 AM. Employee didn't speak much english and told me to call back when mgr came in. Tried to check out at 7AM and found counter closed. […] Found employee in lobby making coffee and asked to check out to get my receipt for work. I was told that I would have to wait 15 minutes for him to finish straightening the lobby. I told him that I did not have 15 minutes and he said if I did not make long distance calls then don't worry about it. He did not understand that I needed a receipt nor did he care. We were very disappointed with the kitchenette supplies. Only a frying pan and a plastic spoon to cook with. Had to buy own frying pan flipper. Hard to cook anything the way it was equipped. you get what you pay for ..... avg room decent bed, the place did have a little bit of a funky smell, and the free breakfast is granola bars and coffe, for the price its about what I expected

I can't say enough good things about the front desk lady. She was wonderful the entire time and was so the last time I stayed here also. The room was clean and large. The only negative was the dining around the hotel. There's an overpriced lunch place in the commercial building beside the hotel and a gas station for junk. Otherwise, you have to drive […] or have it delivered. If your cabbing it, have the driver stop at a grocery store so you can pick some food up since there is a full kitchen in your room. Clean and reasonably priced. Staff was courteous and helpful. Not convenient to anything except the airport. No restaurants within walking distance. Information to closest restaurants not available at front desk. Rooms larger than standard and well cleaned. Maids start cleaning very early and are loud yelling in Spanish regardless of any customers sleeping […] in. Took numerous calls before I could talk with someone to arrange for free shuttle. Was told to go to a spot at airport and call when there. Arrived at the spot and called, no answer. Called numerous times over 10 - 15 minute span before phone was answered. Shuttle arrived quickly. when i got into bed i was horrified to find a sock at the base of the bed between the sheets. When I called the front desk to report this I was told well you can come down and get clean sheets or we can change them in the am But Im here by myself and I cant do it, So I slept on top of the covers and in the am when I went down to leave while waiting […] for my cab the day clerk came on duty and the night clerk told her after reading the message that He Said oh just leave it its ok ! The room was very nice and roomy. Nice place to stay however the cleanliness of the bathroom was very disappointing. There was mold on the shower curtain and the drains were disgusting looking like they were not cleaned in months. The room other than that was fine for a three night stay.It was very close to airport and shopping and expressway.

cheap overnight place. They advertise breakfast but then we were told it isn't on the weekends, even though it was in the info we got on check-in!! After we complained, they put out coffee and muffins the next morning. Had to ask for shampoo. Large room. Shuttle to the cruise ship dock was very disorganised but we did it!

The front desk made this hotel way better. I usually stay in $200 / night rooms, so I don't normally leave reviews for these types of hotels when I do stay there. The only reason the guest rating isn't higher is because of the location pulling the average back down. I was pleased by the size of the room. It looked like it has been remodeled recently […] and it was comfortable. It's a bit far from food if you need to walk. I have never been more impressed by the polite and cordial nature of an employee as I was by the first shift front desk worker. Everything I requested was handled wonderfully. My experience with this hotel was okay. I arrive early and I was not able to check in early. The person at the front desk was not very friendly or helpful. This was inconvenience for me because I had to leave and return. The room was clean, but garbage was put by the stairs making it very smelly to use the stairs.

I was stranded in Tampa for a brief overnight to sleep for a few hours before driving to my destination. I booked this hotel for the cheap price and close proximity to the airport. In hindsight, I would have paid double or triple to stay somewhere else. The room was so disgusting, I spread towels on the bed just to sleep for a few hours. Only to realize […] in the morning light that even they had other people's hair on them. The sink still had dried toothpaste on it from previous people, and the bathtub and toilet were horrendous.
