Nickelodeon Suites Resort — Orlando

The Nickelodeon hotel was dated and dirty. The rooms filthy and housekeeping was absent. The food court was all fast food and limited. The kid shows are a joke, and my kids were very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Had a very good time, the children were very happy and excited they loved the pool and the water slides, as a parent I was very pleased to see as many lifeguards on staff and paying very close attention to the children and I loved the adult drinks of the day

I had seen previous reviews saying that The Nick Resort has horrible customer service and decided to go anyway because I knew my son would love it. To my surprise everyone was very pleasant. I had to call for maintenance because our A/C had a problem and they were there within minutes and housekeeping came to clean up right after. The only complaint […] I have is that they seemed to lack organization in a few areas. They have an information sheet that you can pick up at Guest Service and my husband and I thought it was something that should be given upon check in or left in your room for you. Without it you have no clue what activities are going on and when and you know nothing about this "411" sheet unless you sit in your room and go through the menu on the tv (which gives almost no info at all except for telling you that you have to go wait in another line for your copy of 411). We had a few other small (lack of organization) issues too but, they were very quick on fixing them. Moral of the story- After you check in go straight to guest services for your copy of 411. my stay was very uncomfortable our rooms lock mechanism was damaged and we were not able to leave room til they fixed it which was like at 10pm and while walking around we found a drunk man laying on the floor we even took pictures, is this a place for children and drunks were all over ??? really a thumbs down for this place.

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We had a small issue in the room, we called and problem resolved before we could get back to room. We were going to Disney World, & decided to go all out & spring for a stay at the Nick Hotel. The best advice I can give would be PLAN AHEAD!! The pool was awesome, our daughter absolutely LOVED the waterslides & we loved being able to get drinks & snacks poolside. Unfortunately, our first day there was a Saturday and there wasn't a single lounge chair […] available, so we had to sit way out of the line of sight of the pool, and therefore we were completely ignored by the service staff. Sunday was better, and Monday was awesome- plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. They did have cabanas available Sun & Mon, but they were $129 for a 1/2 day! The negatives for us included how crowded it was on the weekend, the lack of helpfulness from one particular staff member, the ridiculously long lines at the registration desk at any given time, and just about everything having to do with the Double Dare show. My family and I stayed for 6 days and 5 nights and the only posivitve thing I can say about our stay was how close the hotel was located to thetheme parks. Every night we would get back to our room,my wife would have to call house keeping because the room was still dirty or no towels, one night there were no pillow cases on the pillows. we also ordered […] room service one night and came back the following evening to still find our tray and plates still in the room. We called and were told that that was not house keepings job, that we had to call room service to come get it. Very disappointing stay. The public areas such as the lobby, pool and mall, look fine. The room walls are dirty. The mattresses and pillows need to be chafed. The bathroom tile is dingy and disgusting. The cabinet doors need to be changed. As well s. the dingy carpet.

There should be a limit on the number of people allowed in te lagoon. Couldn't even enjoy time in the pool.

Our family of five was very impressed with this hotel. It had everything needed to keep my kids entertained. We never left the hotel. The staff was exceptional. The water slides were wonderful. Rooms were great. Food was not overpriced. We will be returning soon!

THE ROOMS WERE VERY SMALL AND THE FURNITURE WAS TOO HARD TO SIT COMFORTABLY. THE FOOD WAS OVER PRICED AND BREAKFAST WAS A VERY SKIMPY BUFFET YOU PAID TOO MUCH FOR. I am a huge resort traveler and was excited to take the kids to the nick suites. Join arrival I was impressed with the condition of the lobby and the exterior of the buildings... The kids Bunk room was nothing to get excited about - they could've at least thrown a character decal on the wall to make it seem like a kids room rather than a upgraded jail cell. Not 5 minutes after laying down for a nap after a long trip room service barges in without knocking and asks us in broken English if we were leaving and checking out. I enjoyed the room and the pools/slides. Unfortunately everything else was a little pricey for me. I spent almost $50 to eat breakfast from the buffet vs continental breakfasts at other hotels with the same food for free. As long as my 2 girls were happy.

We stayed here the week before Memorial Day. The week was great but Saturday was unbelievabley busy. Anyway, hotel is awesome for kids. I have three boys 12 and under and they each had a great time. The rooms are fine for the price. They are clean but not fancy or luxurious but there was enough room for all so no complaints. Staff is friendly and courteous but they guest services will try their best to hook you up with a local timeshare at sister resort, My children loved this hotel so much they want to go back next year. The kids loved this place. Rooms are spacious but carpet and furniture needs updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Activities are good for kids. Nick Studio is fun. The character meals are way over priced. The fitness center is tiny and there is no place to go for a run because the property is on a busy street. Also need more variety for food.

Overall, our stay was good. Our 3-year-old grandson loved it! Our only complaint is that we were told there was a 9:50 PM shuttle back to the hotel from Magic Kingdom, so we stayed and watched the fireworks at Magic Kingdom, but the shuttle never came. Loved Everything. They really could use some more elevators though. Our room was on the fifth floor, And there was always a long line for the slow elevators. And they didn't hold more than six people at a time. We ended up walking up five flights of stairs. About five times a day!

We just got back from staying at the Nichelodean Suites. The room was very uncomfortable: you could not sit on the couch more than 5 minutes it was so hard. The room was a bit smelly when we walked in (musty). The rooms were clean. We went mid week May 15-18, so the crowd was not there. We were able to go down the watersides with no lines. On Saturday […] when we were checking out, there were lines for all slides and the pool was full. We ate breakfast with SpongeBob which was a waste of money. The buffet was terrible and we barely ate anything. Adults are $24/ child $14. Everytime I blinked, I felt like I was being charged. You can get slimed for $150 for the 1st person and $25 everyone after. Or get sort of slimed at the pool for $40 per person. Overall experience: we enjoyed our stay. But wished we only stayed 2 nights instead of three. My son was over the experience in 2 days (he is 4 years old). If you go, try and go when Florida residents are in school. The staff was friendly. The shuttle was broken down so they were using a car service for trips to the Disney parks. It was a little chaotic, but they were trying to be very accommodating. The kids loved getting slimed!
