We enjoyed our stay, the hotel staff went above and beyond to be friendly and helpful. The room furnishings were a bit dated (carpet, upholstery), but the room was clean, there was a comfortable desk/chair and the bed was comfy! Would recommend it !!

There was a lot of construction going on outside of the hotel, but once you get inside it is gorgeous! Very contemporary and the staff is extremely friendly and eager to help you. Our room was very spacious and clean. Has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

The staff was very friendly, and the finishings were very luxurious feeling. The room we had was the cheapest so a little small but the location was great- close to Dupont Circle and right by the bus to Georgetown.

Clean quiet hotel in a good central location. The hotel might need to check the mattresses and pillows soon as they were losing their bounce/support. I liked the iPad downstairs that allowed to to see nearby bars, restaurants, etc - I have not seen that before

Nicely appointed hotel. Clean. Modern. Great location with plenty of restaurants, a 24/7 pharmacy, & 2 metro stops nearby. I rated location a 4 only because it's a metro ride to the Mall & Union Station, and a taxi ride anywhere is $15 with tip. The service is exceptional. My friend found they'd left a prescription home at 10pm and the staff picked […] it up for them from the 24/7 CVS! We also were stuck at Union Station where Amtrak has stopped bag storage (which we didn't know ahead of time). A call to the manager and they arranged for us to leave our bags at another Marriott that was convenient. Talk about service (from both)! Hot cider in the lobby and greetings from the staff when you return from a cold day out touring warmed us up. A few off moments: the double bed rooms are a little tight, but the roll-out desk option is genius; there was no guide to tell us what was on TV, only the station guide; no mirror in the room, just by the door and in the bath; towel racks were given up for a larger mirror and artwork; the closet was a little awkward to access. FYI.there is bag storage at Union Station, but it will cost you $3-$11 an hour per bag depending on size. After 5 hours they charge the daily rate of $48. The hotel was what we were looking for. It was clean, centrally located, and had a good size room for the two of us. The hotel staff was really nice with greeting you and asking how our stay was going. They even had warm apple cider on New Year's Eve at the front desk. I thought that was a cute gesture.

Good hotel, very polite staff and ok location. The rooms are cleans and comfortable. You are a few blocks away from the White house and some good restaurants. The internet and breakfast are not included and you need to pay extra. It is a bit disappointing from that class of hotel and level of price per night.

Perfect for a quick getaway. Close to restaurants, georgetown and the Kennedy center. Service was spectacular and the room was beautiful, cozy and clean. Valet is $35 a night with in and out privileges which is great for DC. Would stay here again

The bottom line is there are better places to stay in the DC Dupont Area that are much nicer and more convenient. Also this hotel is a "Renaissance" but definately not as nice as others I have stayed at in the past.

My family visited Washington, DC for one night during the Thanksgiving holiday, and we were given a great Expedia rate for the Renaissance. Valet parking was easy and efficient (though not cheap), and the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We booked two rooms for our family of 7 (parents, two in college, and 3 younger), and were immediately offered […] adjoining rooms and a rollaway if we desired. When I inquired about buying internet access (again expensive, but a necessity for us), the desk associate immediately comped it for both rooms. The location of the Renaissance Washington, DC Dupont Circle Hotel was great. The ability to be able to safely and comfortably walk to shops, cafe's and monuments made the trip to the nation's capital more rewarding. The staff was attentive, friendly and informative. I had an excellent stay in the Renaissance in Phoenix, AZ, so I decided to book a stay in Washington, DC. Not so excellent. At checkin, the staff was efficient, but not friendly. They couldn't find my reservation, but fortunately I had my confirmation number. I had requested a nonsmoking king, but was put in a tiny, tiny queen room on the back of […] the building. There was little natural light in the room due to a very small window. Know that if you're on the back side of the hotel, your view is of the HVAC equipment on the roof of some adjacent edifice. It's a horrific view. In addition, you'll need to keep your curtains closed because the windows to the next building, which is very closeby, look directly into your hotel room. The room was nicely equipped for a business stay with a desk, ergonomic chair, plenty of outlets, and an iron and ironing board. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice (shower only, no tub). Great rainshower-style showerhead, but clearly not water efficient. There are no provision for in-room recycling, unfortunately. Note that the hotel is not in DuPont Circle as its name suggests. It's a few blocks away. The closest Metro station is GW-Foggy Bottom, which is about a 7 minute walk from the hotel. I'd likely not stay there again. Uzziniet vairāk

From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful and accommodating with any requests we had. We were very early, so our room wasn't ready yet, but they stored our bags for us and gave us directions to many of the points of interest within walking distance, as well as some restaurants in the area where we could grab a bite along the way. Catrina, the overnight desk clerk, was extremely helpful with some general questions I had. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Washington DC.
