I was a little disappointed, expecting more up-scale than we received. However, the room was fine, bed comfortable, and water HOT. The outdoor pool was a welcome relief and we took advantage of it. Staff very friendly and helpful. It was nice and quiet, away from the main highway, and I would certainly return. I called to book a room in a more up scale hotel (Embassy suites) and they were full so your repersentitive from India that I couldnt hardly understand. I was very dissatisfied with the accommdations and your service. When we got there the motel (not hotel) had not recieved your reservation information that i made with hotel.com the day before. They […] had to call to confirm and prove I had prepayed through you which put me standing waiting about 15 minutes. The only good thing is the hotel staff was very helpfull and concerned. Very convenient location, near the shopping Malls and next to the "Old time Buffet" good food and service.
"fairly standard accomodations"
Our late check-in went very smoothly and the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Everything worked, but the place is a little run down. The room was nothing fancy, just a run of the mill motel with the very basics except we did have a microwave and mini-fridge. For this trip and our needs (somewhere to get a night's sleep before rising […] early to catch a chartered fishing trip) it was fine. Very reasonably priced for the area and convenient to several fast food restaurants and a good sit-down breakfast place if you wanted something more than the cereal, danishes, toast, bagels, yogurt, waffles, juices and coffee at the continental breakfast which was complimentary with the room. I have to say that this was a really bad stay. Our microwave in the room did not work, half the T.V. channels did not come in, the pool looked like it had not been cleaned out in a long time, the breakfast that they served was half stale and did not taste at all like it should have. "Vacation stay OK"
Hotel was decent for the price, Breakfast limited in choice, but does have waffles. Rooms pretty clean, found 1 bug, but hey it's the south. Rooms a little on the small size for 4 people. Trip to beach is a good 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Staff was friendly for the most part. the people was very nice & friendly. room was comfortable with added extras,which was good. the breakfast was good. would stay there again.
On arrival at 2.00 am, there was no attendant. He had taken off for an errand, leaving without a notice. Had to call Hotel.com to raise him. At 9.55 am there was no breakfast available. Service ,thus extremely poor.
"not the place for everyone"
it certainly was cheap, but this motel is on the decline, falling into disrepair. the service was excellent, and all the people working there were fine, but if you are particular, then you won't want to stay here.
"Convenient but slippimg in service and quality"
We have stayed here multiple times and each time something has been wrong with the room. It has gotten more aggravating and so though it is reasonable we don't want to put up with the hassle. Room service was spotty and things were broken and had to be fixed. Disappointing. R from Atlanta

"Bad experience"
This hotel should have been rated a negative one. It was so dirty. When I looked under the bed after 3 days to see if we forgot anything, it was littered with all kinds of wrappers that were never ours. Bad experience!

"Jameson Inn Brunswick - pleasant stay"
I went there for being close to St.Simons island and the location was perfect: less than 20 minutes to the beaches. Many stores and restaurants were at few steps from the hotel and it was located not so far from the I-95. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast wasn't so rich, but good enough. Nice pool.
"Convenient"
The hotel was within a few miles of various attractions that interested us.
Everyone there was very accommodating, cheerful and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much and plan to return. It is just a short distance from St. Simon's beach which was our destination. We met some nice people on the beach and have already recommended the hotel.

"Should Have Chosen Another Hotel"
The rooms smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The carpet was disgusting. The tub would not drain. The bed was wrinkled when we got there. The sink was dirty. There was a dirty towel haninging on the back of the bathroom door. When the housekeeper cleaned it the next day, she did not dust, sweep, mop, etc. She emptied the garbage […] and brought back fresh towels (or at least I think they were fresh). The beds and pillows were nice. The hotel was old and unkept. The carpet was dirty. I would not stay there again.
"Where is the Manager?"
Where do I start? The power went out on our first day of vacation leaving hotel guest wandering around wondering what was going on. That night the fridge was so loud I could not sleep. At breakfeast there was no food left at 9:15 (breakfast is over at 10). Several hotel guests(my family included) at the pool were run off by foul mouthed, crude,and rowdy […] guest. "New Fan of Jameson Inn"
Impressed that it was as clean and well kept as the photos indicated. Very nice staff at check in. Price was completely worth the cleanliness. Breakfast was a bit less then advertised but I think that was due to under estimating what was needed to serve all the booked guest. Only thing I would say negative is that they should invest the $20 on a decent […] toaster - that was a total incovenience to the 10 people waiting, we had to hold the handle down while toasting. I am a new Jameson Inn fan and will always use them when in the area. Great restaurants nearby as well. Barbaritos! Uzziniet vairāk

For the overnight stay, you can't beat this hotel. Near interstate, can walk to restaurants. Staff was friendly, courteous.
