Fantastic hotel with a really central location. Colloseum 15-20 min walk, Trevi, Spanish steps 20 min walk. Vatican 20-25 min walk. There were only two items of note: 1) Breakfast very good but also very expensive on a per person basis. 2) No tea / coffee making facilities in the room. Everything in our room worked ! The hotel is 500 feet from the pantheon ! The rooftop bar and restaurant are excellent . Prices are a Little high for food and drinks but normal for Rome. The staff and concierge listened to our requests and gave us great recommendations for night life and other restaurants and tours

This is a grand hotel experience with very helpful staff. The central location couldn't be better for walking to all Rome's main sites. In a pedestrianised area, all rooms are quiet -- you can hear the birds singing in the morning. It also has a beautiful rooftop terrace bar/restaurant with stunning views (and prices to match). Highly recommended.

Great Location - Can walk everywhere. Good size room. Air Condition was weak - good thing it was November. Staff was responsive.

The Rooftop Garden bar/restaurant is one of the most romantic spots I've been in. Full harvest moon and stunning sunset over St. Peter's dome simultaneously. Wow!

It was a very pleasent stay at a great hotel. The convience of the private beach and pool is unusual in italy.

Great location, Definetly up scale. Elevator service was terrible. One broke. Had to walk the stairs most of the time. 3 days Air conditioner mediocre. Location and the roof bar , excellent

This hotel is excellent value for money and worth every star! We stayed at another hotel in Rome for our first two nights and we had to change - we were so glad we chose Minerve - it was outstanding in all respects. Do not miss the piano bar on the rooftop for a nice view of the rooftop of Rome. Concierge and front desk were excellent service and we […] had Bvlgari soaps in the bathroom - nice! For a night out we recommend sitting at one of the restaurants in Piazza Navona. All the historical sights are within reasonable walking distance, or else can be eached with a $10 cab ride. We stayed at this hotel for four nights while in Rome as part of our honeymoon. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The positives: Our room was fairly large (by European standards), very clean and modern, and with a view of the Piazza and part of the Pantheon. Certainly I think it merits the rating as a 4 or 5 star hotel. This is also a good central […] location for most sightseeing in Rome. You are within view of the Pantheon, on a smaller piazza, and you are iwithin easy walking of the beautiful Piazza Navona. On the downside: I would recommend skipping their breakfast offering ... the food is only average and the cost of 35E pp is very high. This is the perfect hotel if you are looking to do your own walking tour! It is centrally located and accessable to many fantastic restraunts. We stayed here for 5 nights and I would recommend it to anyone. The standard rooms are quite small but how much room do you really need to sleep! We walked to all the sights from here. I had trawled the internet to find a suitable hotel for a special romantic trip to Rome and came across the Grand Hotel de la Minerve, looked at the website and decided to splash out. Worth every penny. Reception and concierge delightful. Exquisitely elegant hotel and beautifully appointed room (superior non-refundable - a very good deal). Bulgari toiletries […] in the very comfortable bathroom. Huge and very comfortable double bed (actually two large singles but you didn't notice). Rooftop restaurant was breathtaking at lunchtime but less so in the evening as the views were lost in the dark. We had a room facing internally and slept with the windows open and no traffic noise, though the gulls are pretty squawky! The top floor bar was not so much a bar as a trolley and a rather drab experience. Definitely have your drink in the elegant foyer bar downstairs and enjoy the pianist. The location is glorious - right by the Pantheon in a very quiet square, a short walk from Piazza Navona and not much further to Piazza Venezia and Piazza Campidoglio with its wonderful views over the forum. Simply cannot wait to go back - if you want to do it in style and don't mind paying up for it - the perfect hotel for the most amazing city in the world! Uzziniet vairāk

We splurged and stayed at Minerva because of its excellent location to the center of ancient Rome. Given the price we paid, we were SHOCKED at how unfriendly every member of the staff was - from the front desk staff, to the doormay, the bellman, the cleaning staff in the hallways, and the management staff we saw in the lobby. Not one smile - as if it […] was a burden to have guests in their hotel. I thought perhaps when we checked out, we might get a happy goodbye, but no one even acknowledged our departure, or even helped us with our luggage. A real disappointment - I think they have forgotten they are in the "hospitality" industry. While there was a pervasive icky, weird spicey smell in the hallways, it was the unfriendly atmosphere that makes us say we would not recommend this hotel to tourist travelers. Uzziniet vairāk

I generally stay at more modestly priced hotels, but if you are in Rome for a special occasion, the Minerva will be a special experience. The hotel is upscale by Italian standards and you will not be disappointed by the accomodations or the attention of the staff. Obviously the location next to the Pantheon, a few blocks from the Piazza Navone, is exceptional. […] Not to be missed is visiting the roof-top bar with its great view and ambience. We really enjoyed staying at Le Minerve...it's perfectly located right next to the Pantheon...in close walking distance from lots of fun restaurants and shops...the hotel is lovely, hotel staff helpful..rooftop bar is lovely...rooms are very comfortable and bathrooms are great... would definitely stay there again!

From the first moment, it was everything I expected, Location was perfect and the personnel were real professionals. Breakfast was as advertised and the ambiance is superb. Air conditioning in the room could be somewhat better, but they tried to make it as cool as possible during a very hot season.

This is a great hotel to stay in for visiting Rome. You can walk everywhere. The rooms are big and very well kept. The staff was very pleasant and answered all our questions. They will present the most expensive response to any query even when the service is the same. For example when asked for a ride to the airport, they suggest a minivan that cost […] almost twice the price of a cab. I would still highly recomment the hotel. Ikke er femsjerners hotell verdig ! Å komme ca. kl. 18 for å gjøre kveldsstellet er hjelpeløst ! Frokostserveringen i resturanten var slett, folk sto utenfor og vente i kø mens det var en rekke bord som bare ikke var ryddet !

Além do hotel ser muito bom a localização é perfeita. Foram 5 diárias maravilhosas.

General condition of the hotel is super but avoid the pricy (and not very good) restaurant at the roof. Instead take full advantage of the hotel bar at the roof and visit the better restaurants in Rome. Much better location in Rome is hard to find.

Bel hôtel dont la qualité des chambres est très inégale en taille, en chauffage (séjour en février) et au niveau du bruit : notre première semblait ne pas avoir été occupée depuis un moment et les étagères de la penderie étaient franchement sales. Cette pièce de grande taille était glaciale et bruyante au dessus de la rue et du porche des livraisons […] mais aucun bruit intérieur. Après changement, la chambre plus petite était confortable mais bruit des chambres contigües et du couloir en carrelage ! Het is een mooi hotel alleen onze kamer had niet zo'n geweldig uitzicht ( binnenplaats)maar moet er bij zeggen dat we het goedkoopste kamertype hadden. Voor de rest alles geweldig

L'hôtel est bien situé pour qui veut visiter la ville à pieds, y revenir faire des pauses. Le lieu lui même a du charme, les chambres sont ce que l'on attend, les petits déjeuners sont hors de prix, d'autant que le voisinage regorge de bons cafés.Et la terrasse, le soir, est le vrai plus qu'offre l'hôtel.

Veldig bra hotell med en flott restaurant og bar på taket. Beliggenheten kan neppe bli bedre og servicen er super.

Støvete på rommet, baderommet er fra begynnelsen av 90 tallet synlig slitasje og trangt. Dårlige lave og harde senger. Små vinduer i 1etg. frokost koster 31,00 Euro p.person det er helt utpriset- bruk kafeer rund hotellet.
