I pay average $300,-USD per room per night and the serve was the poor service I had ex[perienced in Hotels. Examples:-air con without enough power-Answer from Management :-it will be replaced soon; Shelves in the room dirty; tap water only hot water; soap,shampoo etc not replaced every day; wifi not available in the room; very poor breakfast always […] missing yogurt,pasteries, coffee, juices are artificial in a place where everywhere there are fresh juices. Overall the quality of my room was very good and a great breakfast in the morning, however, my room's key was lost and I was limited to always having the staff to let me into my room. Also I booked a room with a balcony and a King size bed. I got two single beds and no balcony.

Clean sheets, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, nice hot water and good water pressure in shower! Superior suite was pretty worn down--incomplete floorboards, burn holes in couch. Location is 10-15 minute walk to Damascus Gate, hotel felt safe, only one key(and it was a key not a card), located in an Arab section of town, so we heard the call to prayer every morning at 5am! Included breakfast was alright (hard boiled eggs, baked beans, cut up hot dogs, coldcuts, cheese squares, bread/jam, fruit cocktail, cold cereal, juice was not juice, more like tang or kool-aid, hummus). Wifi only worked on the bottom 2 floors. We were able to use our schuko plugs in the outlets, and they worked fine. 2 TVs with some stations in English. You can get a good rate for this hotel and it's in a good location in East Jerusalem (short walk from Damascus Gate). However, that's where my positives end. You are made to feel unwelcome for the entire stay - the main receptionist cannot bring himself to even smile. Breakfast is very poor. The sheets, pillows and towel were heavily perfumed making it hard to sleep. Plus the blanket was for a single bed and not for a double. It was 2 feet too short.. The staff at the Addar couldn't be more helpful. Jay at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with travel, tours, and even picked up a box so we could ship extras home. The maintenance staff seem to work 24 hours a day to fix whatever you need. (Unfortunately, the hotel has plenty of maintenance issues that require their attention.) The comp. […] breakfast is filling. The internet is weak but free. The location couldn't be better. Old city, tram, restaurants are walkable and the neighborhood is very safe. All rooms include a separate living room & kitchenette (altho the sleeper couch is really uncomfortable.) The hotel is definitely aging and in desperate need of new furnishings but the staff can make you forget about that. All speak English and are genuinely interested in helping, which stands in contrast to most Israeli hotels, where staff seem to have no training or interest in customer relations. Several high priced hotels surround the Addar, so you can use them for other meals or shopping (there is no bar, restaurant or shop inside the hotel). I really enjoyed my time at Addar hotel. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant as well. It takes just about 10 minutes to walk to the Old City, and maybe about 25-30 minutes to walk to the City Center. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

It is an affordable option, not luxury. It is not new, but there is a lovely terrace and sitting room and work space in addition to the rooms. The front desk staff were very friendly. I would stay there again.

The facility and hotel service is definitely NOT what was advertised online. No wireless internet access available in the room. It desperately need basic maintenance. a very pleasent hotel which still retains some old character, rather than the more sterile modern large hotels. We did not eat breakfast there, but the breakfast buffet looked a bit meagre. We'd certainly reccommend the hotel for the price we paid (it was on speccial with expedia) but it would havbe been overpriced at the full online rates
