Having stayed at this hotel before, I was upgraded to the new, ultra modern, superior rooms on the 5th floor. The room had a contempory feel and is packed with all mod cons incl. free wifi. We spent two nights at the Novotel in Pepys Street from 14-16 April wigh our two sons aged 5 and 2. The location is ideal with it being 100 yards from Tower Hill Tube station and close to The Tower of London. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The Hotel was awesome,I had never previously used this chain of Hotels before but will most certainly use them again!! Hotel rooms a bit small when sleeping two adults and two children, however this is acceptable as we chose the smallest rooms for the most affordable accommodation, plus the fact we only slept on the rooms and spent the entire stay exploring London. the breakfast items were really great but the line that we had to wait was really frustating as we waited for more than 30 minutes to be seated, too many people were waiting before us and we were in chaotic situation. the bathroom was blocked and the water was not draining ,we waited for over an hour for maintainance then the drainage problem has been […] resolved but we suffered from a horrible smell coming outside from the bathroom to the whole room. "Odd room design"

"Great staff - one oversight"
Friendly excellent place to stay when you're staying in London - 40 seconds from underground. They had forgotten to put sheet on sofa bed duvet but this was sorted immediately when advised. We had a good family holiday and plan to stay there againPatiesa Hotels.com viesa atsauksme

"Location, accommodations & staff all great"
Staff was very nice. Computer w/ printer in the lobby to print boarding passes & an extra luggage storage room so we could check out, spend one more day in London, then come back for our bags for our late afternoon flight. Also let us use a UK power adapter & gave us an extra toothbrush. The breakfast was great w/ breads, croissants, scrambled & fried […] eggs, bacon, mushrooms, fruit, beans, waffles, sausage, juices, coffee, hot chocolate. The room had a fold out bed for our two children. Room was tight but manageable. Had a safe, iron, ironing board, & refrigerator where we just bought our own drinks & kept them in there instead of the buying from the mini bar. Had a full bathtub & shower together, toilet area was very small. Location at Tower Hill station is excellent. Three minute walk to Tower of London, Tower Bridge, & boat docs. Only a 10 minute tube ride back to central London. It's an easy tube ride from Heathrow, just one change at South Kensington, but it's about an hour ride. Check for maintenance being done on the Circle & District lines near the hotel. They completely closed the station near the hotel the entire weekend we were there & had to make alternate routes on the bus or walk 10 minutes away to another station, Aldgate East I think. If there's no weekend line construction, the location is excellent. If there is, expect bus 15 that stops at the station to be packed to the gills & it takes a while on the bus to get to Charring Cross. Uzziniet vairākPatiesa Expedia viesa atsauksme

really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, very posh and a nice location. alot to do around the area which was good. the room was lovely and clean with a really nice bathroom. bed was abit firm and reception staff abit slow but apart from that was fantastic. would stay againPatiesa Expedia viesa atsauksme
