The BLVD Hotel & Suites — Hollywood

Too expensive for an INN kind of experience. (I don't mean a nice INN but a really cheap one). Room was clean but the bathroom door didn't close (broken completely) Blinds were broken, making it very hard to sleep with the loud street noise of the cars and the lights of the city.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were good, they were hugely apologetic about the place being under construction but gave me free parking which made up for it. The room was a bit on the dark side though as they used only energy efficient lights which were so inefficient that I needed to put the tv on for extra light when I was packing (and that […] was during the day!). It is near Hollywood Blvd and I could walk to restaurants and shops. Just a word of warning the pool is a plunge pool - no one will be doing laps in it. Uzziniet vairāk

The staff was very friendly. The condition of the hotel was ok but they are in the middle of a remodel so I'm sure it will only go up from here.

No air condition no hot water in the shower . And charges 50 for parking

When I got into the room, most of the lamps, the clock radio, and small fridge were not plugged in...and the fridge leaked water. It was a last minute business trip and I drove in late, so I didn't say anything until I checked out the next morning. The girl at the desk apologized but did not offer a discount or any other accomodation...

I definitely stay there again its close to Hollywood biv and sunset and the staff is very courteous the only complaint I have is they try over charge my friend to park his car at the hotel when its only$15 per car they try charge him $25 other then that there still remodelling the hotel so ice machine and vending machines or out oder so if u get thirsty […] at night your doom lol but Im sure once everything finished it will be fine..... Stay away. Unless you really, really need a true taste of exactly how busted Hollyweird can be. Which you don't. Some stones are better left unturned.

Not curtain why a hotel would ask for a contact phone number also know what room you are in yet after checking in discover that while they where checking u in and the staff where trying to change out at the same time and in the process they forgot to return your credit card they would not call your room or try u at the number you provided but instead […] put the card in a draw and wait for you to discover it was gone and then who might have it. This was not fun nor was digging through the trash with the maid after retiring for a quick bit and finding the do not dis sign had been ignored and your Rx sunglasses glasses had been tossed by accedent. I booked this hotel the day before my boyfriend and I were leaving for our weekend in Los Angeles. We arrived at the hotel around 1230 thinking that we would not be able to check in yet so we were just going to leave our bags at the front desk and come back when it was time for check-in. I was surprised to find out that our room was ready and we could […] check in right away. Check in was really quick and easy. Since our room was already paid for in full, I just had to give them a 120 dollar deposit on my credit card for incidentals. Parking was 15 dollars per day. The room was really nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfy and there was plenty of storage for clothes. The service is great and you can't beat the location. The hotel is 1 minute off of the freeway in either direction. The negatives I would say about this place is that if you have an iPad that you cannot gain access to the free wi-fi. The iPad has issues finding the network for some reason. My boyfriend was able to connect using his laptop though so no worries there. The other negative is that there's not a refrigerator in the room so if you're like me and you usually have leftovers after eating out, there's nowhere to store it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay close to LA without actually staying in LA. We went to a game at Staples, spent some time in Hollywood and Santa Monica, and went to Magic Mountain with ease from this place. I will be staying here again for sure. Uzziniet vairāk

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the location was great, just a few blocks from Hollywood Blvd. But the room smelled like marijuana and the lobby was in disarray. It worked out okay because we were only there to sleep. I would not have wanted to hang out there at all.

The Hotel is great! My only complaint is parking.. I payed a $10.00 parking fee both times that I have stayed at this hotel but there isnt any parking. I always have to leave my keys at the office. If you plan to check in and go to sleep before 8pm you can find a parking spot but after that...Good luck!! You have to block someone elses car and check […] your keys in at the office. I have stayed in a number of hotels and this one was by far the worse. Hotel needs a tremendous amount of work.

The place was a mess. Under construction, dusty and dirty. When I was leaving I looked under the bed and found old dog feces.

Stay away from this sham of a Hotel. It seems to be under construction now in Jan of 2012. The room they gave me was a construction zone with lamps and towels and sheets laying on the floor. So I asked for another room - they upgraded me to a king suite that had an old Black and White TV - I think the cable was broken, and the remote was wrapped in […] plastic with no batteries. I was in town on business so having a decent internet connection is VERY important to me. The connection at this hotel was HORRIBLE! It only worked in the bathroom so I would have to sit my computer on the sink to send/retrieve emails and send files. I was suppose to stay for 5 days, but because of this, I left after day 3 and went to a different hotel […] right across the street who's connection worked great. The hotel was convenient to certain sites we wanted to see. Otherwise the hotel smelled badly of cigaratte smoke even though we had a non-smoking room. Parking was horrible

Filthy! Heat didn't work; telephone didn't work; NO clothes hangers till second day. No breakfast available as promised. Just the weakest coffee ever, served with non-refrigerated ice-cold milk in a small styrofoam cup. Both computers didn't work. Wifi didn't work with my iPhone. Desk clerk just said "We have a lot of trouble with that". As for why […] the heat couldn't be turned on - they were sorry but no maintenance was available on the two days I was there. Besides the great location of the Hotel (5 minutes walking distance to Hollywood Blvd.), we were disappointed about this Comfort Inn & Suites. Would stay again....Dissapointed in the "free breakfast" ...I had visions of eggs & Bacon. Lucky to get a little cereal & a standing place at the check in desk. Staff was courteous and location was very good.

I spent 3 days there and was noticed the parking fee for all 3 days are $10 in total. When I checked out, they told me it is $10 per day, I was in a rush to a ride to San Francisco and had no time to argue too mush and be very unhappy to pay $30 there. The room was very nice and clean. My only complaint is that the room was too dark.

The room was dark and somewhat dirty (carpet). The mirror had fallen off of the wall and was left leaning on the floor. The small, tube TV lost color and the remote was faulty or especially weak. I was in LA for a concert. I only stayed one night. I did not rent a car. I took the train from the airport to the hotel. It took aprox. 1.5 hrs. three changes are needed from LAX to get to the hotel and a short walk. A day pass on the metro is $5. Very reasonable. The hotel is well located and provided a good nights stay in LA. The room was nothing […] much, but the sheets were clean. I don't recommend this Hotel to anyone, the have really bad customer service. Im been to many hotel and so far this is the worst one.

I got the 305 room which was overlooking Highland Ave. I could hear the traffic NONE stop and had very little sleep. The room was very dark. The light bulbs they put on the lamps were so minimal. Since I check in after 6 pm and was heading out, I did not complain to front desk.

we arrived at 1am and got our room key quickly. There is a $10.00 charge per night for parking i was not aware of. Once we got off the elevator to go to our room the halls are really dark. The room is just as dark with dark paint and not enough lights in the room to see anything. At least 2 more lamps are needed. We were very tired when we arrived and […] all I wanted was sleep. We had a king bed, but could only sleep on half of the bed because the box spring was broken. The remote also didn't work for the tv. The second night at 3am the phone starts to ring in our room while we were asleep. It was someone from the front desk asking if we were the room having a party. REALLY?! No, we were the ones sleeping!!! A truly horrible stay that compelled me to write my first review. The breakfast sucks too. Donuts, bagels, carb city. No eggs or bacon. The pool in teeny-tiny. Only good thing about this place is its location right off the freeway, close to the heart of hollywood. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Costumer service sucks too. Don't stay here. A complete and decent nice hotel - nothing extra but definitely altight - I recommend it!

I have stayed at a few hotels in downtown Hollywood because of my career and this was the first time I have stayed with Comfort Inn. My room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful and accommodated my every need. The hotel wasn't in great condition and bed wasn't very comfortable. The room looked worn out and the couch in the room was very dirty. The staff was nice and tried to help us out but the room just wasn't very good. Location is great if going to a show at the Hollywood Bowl or into Hollywood. All in walking distance.

this is a great little hotel. Pool is very small, but i didn't go for the swimming very nice staff even took care of us even though we showed up at 10 am. they book us in and held our bags. Walking distance to the magic castle, and holloy wood walk of fame, also on one stop away from univeria studios if you wanted to visit there. overall very good. […] If i good back to hollywood this is where i will stay. This is a great place to stay when you are going to a show at the Hollywood Bowl. It is also close enough to walk to the Kodak Theatre, Hard Rock cafe, etc. Some of the furniture shows some wear, but the room was very comfortable. $10 for parking is a bargin compare to the other hotels that are charging $20.

Within walking distance of all things Hollywood or tours that can get you that! There are tours that will come right to the hotel and the staff will book it for you. Breakfast room is a bit tiny for all the guests this location accomadates, however, you can go back to your room! The hotel was nice the room was fine and we had a good time. I like the size of the room and that we had 2 queen size beds. We only stayed one night. The only thing I would say is the price was a little high for a Comfort Inn for a Tuesday night and then to be charged for parking on top of that.

the carpet was so filthy and the room smelled...possibly of urine and i am pretty sure it was the carpet...hotel was very run down and our room was disgusting...one bed was not level and the other bed had a very saggy mattress....also could never get the wi-fi to work, even asking the front desk twice...will never stay at a comfort inn again...

This Comfort Inn is a great place if you are heading to the Hollywood Bowl. It is just a couple blocks from it - easy walk! It was a pretty standard Comfort Inn (low priced and nothing fancy) but the location is great for the Bowl. Also close to the Chinese Theater and Kodak Theater.

Pros: excellent location, five minute walk to Hollywood Boulevard. Some hotel staff were really helpful and went out of their way to assist me. Cons: My room's ceiling was leaking quite drastically as an internal pipe had apparently ruptured. The front desk staff member was responsive, but not at all apologetic about this.

Recommendable only if you have car coz if you plan to board a cab for your commute to & fro universal studios then rather stay in Hilton which exactly opposite Universal studios.

5 min walk to down town Hollywood, and around the cornor from the Hollywood Bowl, great staff, nice breaky and the rooms were clean.

Recomendo este hotel para qualquer pessoa que deseja viajar a Los Angeles e deseja ficar próximo de Hollywood e dos parques como Disney e Universal. Adorei a minha hospedagem.

Recomiendo mucho este hotel, cerca del paseo de las Estrellas, se puede llegar rapidamente caminando. El servicio muy bueno, el desayuno muy rico y completo, cereal, pan, cafe, fruta y waffles que uno mismo se prepara, asi que salen calientitos. Muy cerca de los Estudios Universales. El internet si es gratuito y esta incluido en la tarifa.

Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Hollywood Boulevard, d.h. der Walk of Fame, Chinese Theatre, etc. sind zu Fuß innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Hotel liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, die Zimmer sind aber in ruhiger Lage nach hinten heraus.
