Room was hot as the ac was not on. Turned it on and it blew out hot air. Called the front desk and they said we could move to a smoking room. Did nothing about the ac. Easy access to I-5 . . . close to Olive Pit (for souvenir shopping), friendly staff BUT the carpet was filthy! Spotted, stained, dusty! Thank goodness the towels and bedding were clean or we would have left! Breakfast included a waffle maker (nice). Woke at 4:30 a.m. to the sound of industrial washer/dryer units! The motel is located in the small but noisy downtown area of Corning. Fortunately they role up the sidewalks at night so the noise level does go down after 10pm.
