The staff were absolutely great, very professional, helpful and friendly. I'm sure they would have changed my room but I was not in the mood to change. We found this hotel very good. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and good value. We would definately stay there again.

We were visiting Peppa Pig world at Paultons with the children for the weekend, The hotel was in an excellent location and was reasonably priced with breakfast included. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The rooms were kept clean ans sheets and towels changed regularly. Great location for a visit to Peppa pig world. Hotel was of a good standard room a little bit too small for young family 2 ad 1 ch 1 Infant but we managed & we only really used it for sleeping so was suitable for our needs.

Heater broke late in the evening, making for an uncomfortable stay!

Overall the hotel was good but we were informed that the hotel had "free" wifi when we booked through Hotels.com and nowhere on the website did it say there was a charge for this service. We were informed on arrival that it was 12GBP per day. For this reason we would not stay there again as when traveling it is important to have internet access without […] the additional cost. Room was clean, service was good and staff friendly, good value for money

Staff were very pleasant, hotel rooms were very nice, the only down side was the food, would recomment eating out.

This hotel is a little out in the sticks with not much around. It states there is a resturant on site, but for me this is more of a cafe than a resturant, with not a lot to offer in the way of meals. I also found the bar very expensive, I was glad I had only one nights stay. The good point was parking was free.

Child friendly as i have a 1 year old and left me room for the cot to be put up. staff very helpful and friendly, rooms tidy and clean, gets a bit busy at weekends due to theme park being close by and breakfast is a bit of a challenge with the amount of people in hotel, dining area rather small and you have to queu which is a bit of putting and finding somewhere to sit. other than that its ok for a one night stop over.

This is a pleasant, clean hotel for a short stay. Some members of the staff were extremely helpfulin giving local travel directions. The hotel is not located near any eating facilities and only food in the small bar is available. Breakfast is limited in many respects, with few choices. We stayed here with our granddaughter for one night in order to go to Paulton's Park (especially Peppa Pig World). The room was not vast but adequate for an overnight stop. Her bed was all made up and very comfortable but ours was a little softer than I would have liked. Breakfast was lovely although there were a lot of guests, the staff were constantly […] renewing items that had run out. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. There were a LOT of small children around that day but that is due to the excellent location - a five minute drive to Peppa Pig! Used our stay to visit friends living in Lordswood. Reception staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast rather chaotic as lots of families staying there, and food disappeared rather quickly. We were warned about it though, so tried to time it when it was a bit quieter. Our room every clean and comfortable. Would recommend it for short stay.

Firstly just to clear things up, I understand that the hotel was fairly full due to the start of the summeer holidays but....... Upon arrival the staff were friendly and fairly efficient, again when returning in the evening friendly and helpful staff greeted us. Having had a long journey and busy day, upon our arrival later that night we had unfortunatly […] missed the last service for food. I was part of a party of four so we decided a drink in the bar would be nice before bed. The bar had an issue with the tills which ment they could not except cash and had to hand write all orders and then get each customer to sign for these. The speed of service was painfully slow, this was added to by the bar staff simply serving people in any order (pushy drunk people seemed to get priority). The other parties in the bar area many of which had young children (by now well after 11pm) yet the staff still kept supplying alcohol to the adults in these parties. This is of course at the discreation of the bar though it was clear that some had more than their limit already. We decided as the draught beer was poor quality anyway and the problems we had already had in the bar just to head to bed. The room was far from impressive for the price, and both rooms booked by myself well in advance were supposed to be doubles but were infact twins. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest and as the weather was warm, my parents in the other room had hoped to leave the window open but as we are all non-smokers could not do this as the drunken mob from the bar were chain smoking below their room in the car park and causing quite a noise. The fun continued through the night when children were allowed to run up and down the corridor, this was around 2 - 3am. The waffer thin pillows in the room ment we were easily woken as we were already struggling to get a good nights sleep. Stayed here for one night with my family, the hotel was simple but clean and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was quite nice but selection was a but limited. Overall a comfortable stay.

The breakfast was discraceful, we sat and had our breakfast on dirty tables with used crockery and waste food. We have never been to such a hotel so poorly organised. We will never stop at a Holiday Inn ever again and I shall ensure I do not allow any of my work collegues on business to use a Holiday Inn.

Clean and functional hotel. Popular with young families visiting Peppa Pig World. The hotel is a little isolated, and the menu in the bar is restricted to curry, burgers, pizzas and 1 vegetarian option. But overall the experience was pleasant and the hotel was basic but adequate.

Ideal location for pre cruise from Southampton. Cheap, clean and handy.

Good and clean room. The rest of the hotel where dirty and greasy in/outside. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn's and never seen a dirty one like that.

We stayed here for one night during a weekend in the New Forest. The hotel is clean and modern, and the room had all the facilities that one might expect. However, the window looked out onto a rising roof that blocked out any view whatsoever. Also, the room (and hotel in general) was kept far too warm and felt very stuffy, and there was no thermostat […] control by which to change the temperature. Finally, the buffet breakfast felt very cheap and left us feeling that every possible corner had been cut to save money. It's also worth noting that there's nothing within walking distance in the surrounding area, so the hotel's really only useful as a stopover if you have a car. Overall, a satisfactory and relatively inexpensive place to stay for a night if you're travelling from A to B, but I'd look elsewhere if you're seeking anything more than that. Uzziniet vairāk

Chose this hotel online due to location. It was actually quite easy to find, staff was good. However, it is out in the middle of nowhere and there are no adjacent shops so stock up on snacks before you get there. The included breakfast was the best we had on our trip. The room was satisfactory. The staff at meal time and front desk needed to be more professional. The evening meal seemed to be pre-propared, microwaved and served warm. The breakfast was very good.

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were most helpful, good food, as much as you could eat, and child & dog friendly. What more could you ask for at a very affordable price.

Very comfortable hotel, good staff, clean rooms. Extrememly remote, need a car, not near to any shops, bars, public transport or any activities.

Stayed there for three nights and loved it. The hotel is easy to find and the room was spotless. Nice clean sheets and comfortable bed. Buffet style breakfast was included which was a treat with hot and cold foods to choose from. Staff were friendly and helpful Would definitely recommend and would go there again.

Five Pound taxi ride to Southampton Central Rail Station. We enjoyed clean, quiet, modern, rooms that included full breakfast daily. Was a great location for a pre-cruise stay. Some staff were cheerful and helpful but a few were moody and abrupt.

The Hotel was spotless. Room was well laid out. Lovely breakfast we only expected continental but in fact there was scrambled egg and sausages too, an added bonus. It was a bit chaotic at breakfast time but didn't put us off. Would definitely recommend. The breakfast that was included was very poor, we arrived one hour after breakfast had started, only to find that they had run out of almost everything! Try telling a hungry 7 year old that she would have to make do with a glass of orange juice!

Very pleased with our stay in Southampton. We could not fault the hotel. Our room was clean and the sofa bed was made up for the kids on arrival. We had a fantastic breakfast each morning and it was lovely and clean. Our only problem with the hotel was finding its location. Tres bon rapport qualite prix pour une chambre familiale avec deux enfants. Bien sur il s agit d'un hotel sans aucun charme puisque c est une chaine et il est loin de tout mais il nous a permis de faire une etape apres la traverse Cherbourg Portsmouth pour repartir le lendemain vers Londres. avec cet hotel aucune surprise, ce qui ne semble pas etre […] le cas avec certains hotels de portsmouth quand on regarde les appreciations des sites de reservation.
