Our room was dirty upon check in. Cob webs, coffe stain on sink, etc. I broke out in hives after sleeping in the bed and the counter girl seemed somewhat bored with my condition. We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. If you want a clean room, go somewhere else!!!!!

the room was just dirty.. even the bathtub liner was coming off and under it was old grey looking glue and dirt.. GROSS. One day the water coming out of the shower/bath was drak brown. They send out a guy to look at it and after looking at it and said it will clear upon its own (even though it was fixed by the time he left the bathroom) he said it was […] cause they did something to the boiler...why didnt they jus say they on the phone when we called the front desk ??The small of throwup by the bed. Socks got black on bottom from walking around in the room. Dont think the bed have EVER been replaced. wont stay there again. ps this is the second time we stayed and we were hoping it was better then our first time.. we were wrong! Hotel was in a great location. Price isn't bad and it include a continental breakfast (OJ, coffee, cereal, and mini muffins).

The hotel is in a good location, but it is very old and poorly maintained. The sheets were old and stained. The walls were dirty, the internet did not work. The tv made us feel like we were back in the 70's. If you like a clean room this is not for you. If you are on a budget and you are not squirmish then give it a try.

It's a good price and might work for you if you are not looking for more than a place to crash. It is very close to heavenly - so the location is good. Buildings are VERY old and the complimentary breakfast is bare minimum. I was really disappointed with the reception at the hotel. I had booked a room with two queen beds and had noted in the reservation that there were going to be a couple and two kids. My wife and daughter were to sleep in one bed and our son and I in the other but we were given a room with a king bed. When we complained, we were told by reception that […] they couldn't do anything. Upon request we managed to get a couple of extra blankets which we spread on the floor and spent the night. Close to midnight we were asked if we would like to move to another room halfway across the building and we declined because we didn't want the hassle of toting our bags which we had unpacked,of course, out in the cold. That wasn't a good start to an outing we had planned to enjoy. I personally, will not reccomend this motel to anyone because I cannot trust them to fulfill the requirement of a given number of guest listed on the reservation. Thumbs down to you Super8. Me and a buddy stayed at this hotel for a snowboarding-filled weekend and I have no complaints about this place. In fact, it was a great experience. The employees at the front desk were kind, professional and helpful every time I talked to them. When we had a problem with our coffee maker in our room, the hotel quickly resolved the issue. The room […] itself was comfortable, clean, warm (!!!!), had a microwave and fridge, and a good selection of TV channels. Let me stress this again though, the room was warm!!! I couldn't believe it to tell you the truth. I didn't think the insulation would be that great, but I was really impressed. If you're treating this place as a home base for a ski or snowboard trip, or I guess any trip for that matter, I definitely recommend it. Uzziniet vairāk

My boyfriend and I were looking for a nice hotel a night before online and we found this one and it was not the best hotel but it was good enough for a 2 night stay it was very spacious. I belive my only complaine would be that we asked for towels and they never brought us them. Besides that everything else was great and I would stay there again.

Super nice staff. Attached to sports bar with food, I didn't eat there but they gave you 10% off if you were a hotel guest. Dog friendly and near an awesome dog park!

You can't really expect too much. The beds have NO support - it's hilarious, when you sit on the edge, it practically drops to the floor. I can usually sleep like a rock after a day of boarding and whiskey - but was impossible here. Keep your shoes/socks on because the floor is NASTY and you might end up with foot fungus. I watched the house cleaning […] people on the other rooms, and they did the bare minimum, and don't change the top comforters. Who knows how often they are cleaned... Bring Cup O' Noodles - makes a great midnight snack and run the hot water through the coffee maker. The owner was pretty rude - we called in at 10:30am and asked for a 12:45 check out, and got an ok from the front desk girl. And when we went to check out at 12:45, the owner said we were late, and who gave us permission. What a jerk - no "how was your stay"? It's not like the cleaning ladies were going to clean much anyways... Gotta admit - the BIG hot tub is wonderfully HOT - its the main reason I picked this place because I've been in the tub before. But its also super dirty. Turn the bubbles on (every 15 min) to keep from seeing the grim ring around the edge. Good happy hour at the bar with $3 good beers. If you and your friends plan on getting wasted every night, chilling in the hot tub, and yaking all over the room (which isn't a bad plan, mind you) - then go for it. This is the place for you! Went for New Year's Eve. Kinda a crazy night! Next day was loud due to others. Overall, my experiences have been wonderful!

So, we ended up here because of a spur of the moment decision to board one more day before going back to work after new years. Admitently after already staying a week in Tahoe in a studio lodge, we just wanted a cheap place to rest our heads before hitting the slopes one last time then driving back to San Francisco. That's exactly what we got! Not saying […] I am suprpised by any means by the following but there is a standard living hotels should follow. When we fist got into the room we noticed the security chain was ripped from the door just hanging, waiting to be repaired. (doesnt instill feelings of saftey in the room does it). They didn't have any towels clean so we had no towels to shower with after a warm day of shreading pow. The shower had the hair of the pervious occupants all over the inside with cracking moldy wall paper at the top (sorry that's just nasty- I don't care how cheap the room is) and the tv wasn't working. So I can live without a working TV, but the other things are unacceptable really as they are inexpensive things to ensure they are done right. Overall these aren't the worst things that could be found in a cheap room so I would concider staying on a whim again if need be. The pros to the place, there was a loud, but working fridege to keep our drinks cold for the morning. (nothing like a cold fourloco before heading to the slopes. Walking distance to the Gondola. it was my husband's birthday, i wanted to have a good time. the mint that we entered the room, it stink really bad. it smell like pee. We couldnt sleep most of the night.

Got a room with 2 twin beds for a great price 3 days before Christmas. Was only a 40 minute drive away from Kirkwood ski resort and had lots of food nearby. Room was in great condition, plenty of towels were supplied. The hot tub was in good shape as well and my friends and I had a great experience all in all.

Great staff, comfortable beds. Nice to have coffee and a microwave in the room!

Hotel seemed a bit quiet but cross the street and the marina is very nice. Much better than those ghastly casino hotels in town. In October it was already getting very cold at night. Glad hotel had a gas fire in the room.

The roon was great. However, my only complaint is that there was broken glass all over my bed. I don't know how the hell the was missed but I have a nice little cut on my leg. Other than that, it was all good.

The room was clean. Had front and back doors, but there was some damage to the walls. The area around the hotel seemed okay but I wouldn't walk down the streets alone at night. All that was available was cold cereal and nasty instant machine coffee for breakfast...the room coffee was better. the attatched bar, Mo's, was a great addition though. If breakfast was better I would come back here every time. I think next time i will try the howard Johnson accross the street.

I've read some good and not so good reviews of this location. My room was claen, the bed was comfortable and had clean sheets, and the attached pub/lounge seemed rather nice too. If you're like me and only need the hotel room as a place to crash this place is great.

This motel is not maintained at all....walls,carpets and everything are gross!! Our door had been kicked in at one time and the door trim was never repaired. There were BUGS in the room!! went to the office 3 times because the TV remote didn't work they never could fix the problem. Cement around the pool is broken and dangerous. This hotel is so old and ugly on top of having to deal with bed bugs. We will never stay at one of these again.

The Night Attendant was super, super nice. And he cheerfully gave us extra towels. excellent place to stay (and affordable) for those running the Reno Tahoe Oddyssey.

The staff was less than friendly when we checked in, particularly after I mentioned that I was not expecting to be charged an additional ten dollars for our pet. I specifically requested a pet friendly room when we made the reservation and I was never told there would be additional fees for our pet. The bathroom was ice cold, no matter if we had the […] heat on in the room or not. There was also a considerable amount of mold in the bathroom. The TV barely worked and the screen was fuzzy. Yecchhhh! Avoid Room #101. If it was any closer to Highway 50, you'd be sleeping in the street. Shower was kinda crusty. Asked for a different room but desk person said they had no open rooms even though the sign outside was blinking "VACANCY". Complimentary breakfast was a jumbo bag of frosted flakes and a gallon of milk.

We planned a lst minute trip to Tahoe. Got in and out with no issues. They let me check in early which was nice sine I had kids with me. the only issue I had was that there weren't enought towels, but that was easily remedied. Overall, a nice place to stay.

for being a super 8, it's surprisingly very decent.

The front of the motel looks fine as well as the lobby but you enter the rooms through the back in an alley way and did not feel safe. Blankets had dirt spots on it and ripped. TV quality was terrible. Our room was up a cement staircase where the stairs were narrow and steep and railing felt wobbly. We entered our room at the top of a cement ramp. I went to Tahoe to do some cycling and the super 8 was a good place to call home for 3 nights. The king room I had was clean, however the bathroom needed some work. There was drywall which had been removed and covered with exposed nail heads and the shower head was a little low for my taste. The breakfast wasn't much; cereal, muffin, juice and coffee. […] I was hoping for some bagels or waffles or something, but i made do. Overall, I would stay at the Super 8 again if the price is right. We paid a lot for this room because there was a golf tournament in town. There were limited places that had space available at any reasonable price. This hotel is what you'd expect at the low end of hotels. The facilities are old and beat up. The room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The room and bathroom needed a good cleaning. On the plus side--the […] room was large and spacious with a nice balcony, and the hotel has a very convenient location. The check in staff was friendly and welcoming. A block from the lake, also has a watersports marina next to it and a great breakfast place called red hut.

Overall it was just ok for the price (you get what you pay for). The bathrooms were not as clean as desired. Would most likely not stay there again.

This hotel is very old and needs to be updated. I think it should be torn down and re-built. We didn't want to walk around on the floor without shoes on because there were spots of throwup on the floor. It looks like someone just soaked up the liquid with a towel n just left the throw up stain in the carpet. You get what you pay for at this Motel. After a day of skiing i wanted a good night sleep. Well the beds are so hard and small (2 bed room) that I couldn't get a sound sleep. I wouldn't mind to sleep here if I wouldn't have been so tired. Decent breakfast - if you are expecting this then better book a different one.
