From metro walking in the evening feel uncomfortable. They charged me $13 Euros per breakfast but that is really high, just had coffee and had a crossant If had known in advance, definitely would have skipped it. Had good and bad experience with receptions, the manger was really good but Sunday the lady at reception was not friendly. Very practical location near Gare Montparnasse,at a walking distance. However, access by car is very difficult. Staff is helpful, rooms are clean but hallways are narrow, dark and smelly.

The Hotel and all the service was great. The staff was very nice & helpfull. The breakfast in the morning was nice. I will be coming back for another stay again soon.

Enjoyed 4 nights in the hotel. Very convenient to metros and train. Safe area. I must say the reception staff, day or night, male and female were excellent. I have never met such helpful staff any where in the world. nothing was any trouble to do for our group of 7 travellers.

It certainly wasn't anything fantastic, but it was a decent place to stay for a few nights. The furniture and decor is a bit old and the bedspread has seen better days but overall it seemed clean and well kept. We were on the street side and it was quite noisy. If you consider the expense in Paris, this was an acceptable hotel. Rooms are small and not updated. The manager was extremely nice and helpful but the rest of the staff not so much. All in all, acceptable for the price.

We had a satisfactory stay at Hotel Orchidee, located in a non-touristy neighborhood in Montparnasse. The staff was friendly and helpful and multilingual, the lobby and courtyard were lovely and comfortable. Our first room was uncomfortably small, and the staff got us a better room the 2nd night.. Our desire not to have our towels changed was ignored […] by housekeeping. The carpet in both rooms was worn and a bit shabby, but the windows were sound-proof and the room was quiet at night, (5th floor), and the room was bright and cheerful in the morning. There were good cafes and bakeries in the neighborhood, a great Bourdelle sculpture museum, and the Montparnasse cemetery nearby. We had only a few nights in Paris before heading south, so we packed a lot in. Orchidee was perfect for our needs. Easy access to Gare Montparnasse and thus Metro, but most especially the tour bus stop (the "yellow bus" not the "red bus") which is what we used in place of Metro. Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, and we took advantage of the courtyard […] for an evening of wine, cheese, fruit and meat with our friends. Service was fine for our needs, i.e, English, plus chilled our evening wine gratis. WiFi signal was excellent. We did not eat breakfast at the Hotel. Why bother with an excellent cafe at the square down the street? Rating is value for price point driven. We look at hotels as places to sleep and shower. Me and my bf stayed here for seven nights whilst I was sorting out a permanent residence in Paris. The room had free wifi which was very handy. The small balcony overlooking the courtyard was a great place to have a drink at night. The only downside was the cleanliness which was inconsistent over the days.

For a supposedly three star hotel, it was disappointing that it had no air condition, just a fan.(the weather was very hot). They also do not have an iron the clients could borrow. The passage way to the end of my room was also very dark.

I was lucky enough to be able to get into my room within some 30 minutes which was what I need most after a tiresome journey. The room didn't look as  shown  in pictures, it was worse. The shower never worked good  and the front desk  didn't care, the said they didn't  have  any available room to move us. I would never recomend this hotel to anybody.

Stayed at Hotel De L Orchidee for 2 nights. Proce was cheap for Paris and very convenient to Gare Montparnasse (5 minute walk). Rooms are a litte tired but the reception desk personnel very helpful and pleasant. Neightborhood is fine but not in immediate area of any attarctions. This is a nice Hotel, placed close to a main Paris Train Station (Montparnasse) and to several Metro. The neighborhood is calm. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a brand new bathroom.

Hotel D L Orchidee is a nice hotel for Paris standards, but unfortunately Paris hotels generally hold a low standard. ツインルームを予約しましたが、今回はダブルの部屋しかありませんでした。コードを発行してもらって部屋でWiFiが利用できました。部屋にインスタントコーヒーと湯沸かしティッシュが置いてあり、清潔でした。モンパルナスから少し歩かなくてはいけませんが、あらかじめgoogleのストリートビューで見ておくと楽にたどりつけます。小さな広場？が前にあり、ベンチや木が植えられているところです。もう１ブロック向こうの通りには、カフェやスーパーもあり、にぎやかです。

L’accueil est très sympa, refait à neuf. Le personnel est globalement disponible et aimable... mais il change tous les jours, il faut donc tomber sur le bon. La chambre est en revanche très décevante : mobilier passé, propreté suspecte (dessus de lit, couverture et poussières). Le reste de l'équipement est satisfaisant : télé moderne, bouilloire.

Je retournerai très volontiers dans cet hôtel qui est bien situé. C'est commode d'être tout près de la gare Montparnasse. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une chambre donnant sur la cour intérieure. Nous avons pu dormir dans le silence complet. Petit plus : on trouve bouilloire, thé, café dans la chambre. C'est appréciable quand on revient de 12 h 30 […] de vol plus transfert de Roissy à Montparnasse. Le petit déjeuner est absolument complet et c'est bien agréable de disposer d'un tel choix. Gentillesse, amabilité du personnel dès l'arrivée.Chambre petite mais avec un lit double alors que j'avais réservé pour une seule personne.Salle de bain fonctionnelle mais exigüe. La rue est très paisible la nuit mais à deux pas du quartier animé de Montparnasse qu'il est même plus facile de rejoindre à pied qu'en métro.
