La Quinta Inn and Suites Denver International Airport — Denver

The staff is helpful and friendly. For us, we enjoyed the extra pillows of different softness but the mattress was uncomfortable. We had a light bulb out and some dark mold and orange slime in the shower. The property is very nice to take a stroll and relax and there are two restaurants a short walk away.

People were great at the desk, and the driver that took us to and from the airport was really helpful. This was one of the best stops on our trip.

Excellent service, great management group and courteous, helpful working team of employees. Room clean and comfortable, not extravagant. Extremely convenient for airport and overnight stay. Good breakfast included in comfortable lobby area.

Pillows, bedding, and towels were old and worn out. Double beds, not queen but that is standard at La Quinta. No lotion or shampoo in rooms. Carpet old. Bathroom run down. Even though they advertise overnight parking, they are the only hotel I have stayed at, and I have stayed at 5 others within 2 blocks of this one, that don't allow more than just […] 1 night's parking.. I rated nothing at the max 5 - very few places qualify for that to us.The 3's in our rating are due to the fact that (to us) the important piece of "getting away" for a few days needs to include the ability to STOP and sleep in, without being significantly disturbed until we are ready to get going going. We were disturbed every morning by the cleaning […] staff, doors banging all around our rm (though our door had the "don't disturb" sign on it) as they cleaned the rms near us, AND the staff yelling to each other to communicate. But THAT happens to be a pet peeve for us ..we do realize they have to clean rooms. The other 3 rating is only because this particular hotel is not near to the main attractions in Denver. That said, it is not too hard to get anywhere in Denver; one does have to be aware of traffic patterns and time things accordingly. Proximity to the airport is great! They do not have much leeway for a late checkout - they gave us an extra hour, which we had to call and ask for THAT morning - could not arrange for it earlier in our multi-day stay. Our flight was and early evening one and it would have been nice to be able to get a mid afternoon checkout. This is likely not the best place for a getaway, restful, stop time - but a good one for 1-2 day stays, especially if you have to up and about the next day for flights/work. The location was great, the service was great, the breakfast was great. What wasn't great was the old food in the fridge and the dirty towel hanging behind the door. I slept really well though - they have really great pillows!

The hotel was nice and as i looked forward to staying the night to get some sleep before my flight flew out. I had specifically requested a late check out with the hotel and from 7am (Which was not even my check out time) until 3pm they kept disturbing me banging on my door to clean my room and kick me out. I payed good money to stay there and have […] peace which I did not get at all. When i went to speak with them they had an attitude with me the entire time. When i first got there i made sure they had me down for a late check out they said yes of course we have it here in our systems and come to find out they ignored my request and made my entire stay there a nightmare. I will be letting the everyone know this is not a welcoming place nor is it a place that helps to accommodate people in any way and the way i was treated was so very unprofessional and extremely not polite especially when i payed good money and let them know in advance about the late check out! Had one night stay on the way back from Aspen to Chicago, and would consider staying longer with all the basic amenities but also a mini fridge and microwave for leftovers, a pool, hot tub, and continental breakfast. After a great ski week... we had an Early Sunday flight out of Denver, and this La Quinta hotel was perfect. Just outside the airport... with several Restaurants nearby. The Dicciccio Restaurant next door was top notch Italian.

Hotel room was nice with free internet and free local calls. Internet wasn't slow. Bed was comfortable and clean. Shower water sparse with a water saver but the rest of the room was good. A lot of channels on TV. Morning breakfast was basic but did have eggs, fruit, cereal and juice. Will stay again. Very impressed. Could not hear neighbor like complaints […] in other hotels. Booked room specifically as non-smoking. Hallway to room reaked of smoke and room had residual odor as well. Coffee at breakfast buffet was watered down and tasted horrible. Nestled among other airport hotels, far from the lights of the city... and anybody else for that matter (we are talking about the Denver airport here! 15 miles from Denver!)... this particular airport hotel was very good for the price. The hotel and the breakfast were great. I had to call the front desk about the smell of cigarrette smoke in the hallways though. The room itself smelled fresh. The manager said they would spray the hallways right away. Very satisfied in the end. Food was perfect.

First of all, the water pipe had an issue and I had to live without water for 2 hours.The necessary toileteries were not provided at the hotel.The staff was not courteous.

Great room, front desk was really busy and took a while to check in-not manned very well in the morning to check out. Other that that the hotel was great, clean, and reasonably priced. Would choose it again.

It was not acceptable that the shuttle did not drop us at the airline gate. We had to carry all luggage across the airport what was very inconvenient.

Stayed at this hotel for a quick night before an early morning flight. Room was great. Very clean and neat. Even had a reclining chair in the room! Only complaint is the slow shuttle service to the airport. They only have one shuttle so be prepared to wait up to a half hour to get picked up.

Staff were excellent, allways willing to help and were courteous and friendly at all times. Shuttle bus from the airport was a most welcome service after a long flight. Will definitely stay again on my next trip to Denver.
