Staff was especially friendly and helpful. The facility was neat, clean and comfortable. The breakfast included made to order omelets. The fitness room was well equipped with exercise equipment. We traveled to Chicago on business and found everything in the hotel very satisfactory from computer and printer access in the lobby to access to the breakfast room. When we arrived back at the hotel one evening for an impromptu meeting, the staff was very accommodating to make sure we knew there were some cookies available and asked us if we wanted […] coffee. Came home to a freezing room everyday, heat would only kick in when you had been in your room for more than 15min; don't ask me how this system works. Towels were stained/dirty, and rest of room felt dirty. Friendly staff.

It was okay. The hotel is aging and could use updating. It was reasonably clean and not in a bad location. With breakfast (so-so) included the price wasn't bad. If you are looking for saving money it is okay, just rather a 60's feel with the old furnishings.

The breakfast was great and the matresses were extremely comfortable. While we were there, they upgraded the televisions to big flat screens. Each room had a DVD player and our 4 year old daughter in particular loved this. Overall, great stay with lots of great restaurants nearby. I have to say, This is the best hotel i have had the pleasure of staying. DVD player cordless phone, amenities you rarely see anymore. I highly recommend this hotel, great people managing this hotel. I stayed here because of the high ratings shown on Expedia.com and because of the rates - very good for Chicago. I must admit I was a little disappointed in the shape of the hotel, "clean" yes, but showing its age. I would say this would be a good choice for somebody on a budget that wanted a clean place to stay but who is not expecting any frills. […] I will look for another place to stay on my next trip to Chicago - even if I have to pay a few extra dollars. I booked 2 double beds and they tried to give me 1 king bed instead. Desk clerk stated they were booked and had no rooms with 2 double beds. After calling the manager, they "found" an available room.

Hotel service is great and there was no unconfort. But, the wireless network in the room was unconfortable. And, this hotel is somewhat far from chicago city, so you should bring your car - that is definitely much better than using only shuttle bus. Except that, I think this hotel is good.

My stay at the Best Western Plus Oakbrook in was great. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and the free breakfast is great! The breakfast was probably my favorite thing. French toast, make your own omelette, biscuits and gravy, cereal, bagel, yogurt...you name it, they had it..and for free! I also happened to leave my bluetooth headset in my room. […] Didn't realize it till the day after I got home. I called the hotel, and housekeeping had found it and turned it in. The hotel itself was nice, the price was cheap and the process very simple. The location, however, is next to a heavily traveled highway, which means that there were noisy trucks passing by constantly through the night.

When I asked the hotel if they had a swimming pool they told us no but the room would have a whirlpool hot tub. I rented the room so my daughter could spend time with her friends so all were disappointed. There was really nothing to do.

There wasn't anything spectacular about this hotel, but it met all expectations and I would definitely stay there again. The only major downfall of the hotel is that they don't have an elevator. So, if you have a lot of luggage or some type of physical handicap, ensure […] you contact the hotel to reserve a room on the main floor. The hotel is also next to a highway and you can hear traffic. However, the traffic noise isn't all that bad. The town of Westmont seems to be a nice, quaint town with a couple of good ice cream shops (always a plus). If you are looking for a place right outside of Chicago with an easy commute (minus rush hour traffic), then this is a great place to stay. By the way, their air conditioning works great and they keep the room cold for you. Other hotels usually turn the air way down and when you arrive, you have to blast the air conditioning for a long time to cool the room down. Not this place! Told staff when checking out had been in the area 3 months ago, stayed at what was considered a 5 star rated hotel. Price was 2X as much, amenities missing in room. The hotel was very nice, the few staff members I talked to were very nice and cheerful. The workout room would be better if it was air conditioned but it had several machines to provide a good workout. My room was situated across the hall from the laundry, not a pleasant smell. Nice, clean for an older hotel, was remodeled, but does not look professionally done..Clerk was friendly and breakfast staff also. Easy to find just off interstate. Really only complaint was the lack of an elevator, sites really should tell you if there is no elevator service available since it is hard for some to drag luggage up stairs.
