"Not MY Grandma's Hotel"
A quite possibly nice little bed and breakfast style hotel in Juneau. Unfortunately, it seems to have gone a bit to seed since its last popularity poll. Either that, or I was there when the exceptionally dense and mostly deaf staff were being trained. The rooms are good enough, the concept is very good, but the staff needs to step up at least two notches. […] They seem to feel as if they are doing you a favor to even notice you. "Loved our stay - 5 nights"
the young couples that worked in the hotel were great and added to our enjoyment of our stay. the shuttle was very handy for getting downtown and back as well as to the airport.
"Bad Service"
It was comfortable and very cozy, but couldn't get anyone to fix the TV. Seemed a lot of service was lacking.
"Awesome place"
My wife and I couldn't say enough good about this place. The staff was so friendly, the food in their quaint little eatery so good. The beds are amazingly plush, and you don't feel like you're staying in a hotel....more like a little country Inn. I can't imagine a better place to hang your hat..one night...or one week..FIVE STARS!!
