Emailed twice for shuttle information with no reply. Told had to call own taxi despite having taxis called on my behalf previously. Comfortable room and fine surroundings, staff pleasant.

Our room was very clean. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, patient and nice. The rates were very reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Can't wait to go back.

We were put an area of the property that had a view of overhead high tension wires...could not see the beach or any decent scenery.housekeeping was atrocious ... Neither the tub nor toilet were cleaned the first day, the floors were not vacuumed and we got half the supplies we needed. After speaking with management it went downhill from there until […] we just did not have housekeeping bother to come in at all. Mold stains on the wall and a large spider web in the corner. The grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful. The amenities very good. (Having a Starbucks on site is a plus.) There are multiple stay options, and I wish we'd upgraded. The Seaside rooms are way too small, designed WITHOUT views, have no table (we travel with computers), and have only one pretty uncomfortable chair. This place is just OK, a relatively inexpensive place to sleep -- although better places are less expensive up the road in Myrtle Beach. It is charmless and cheaply built: Light came through around the door to the next room, and we had a ringside seat for an arguing couple until I shouted at them to be quiet. We were not expecting so many amenities. We were able to use the fitness club and indoor pool. We would have stayed longer if possible. The breakfast buffet was excellent and a great value. I wish it was closer to the water, but for the price, we were completely satisfied.

Small room - This is literally a "room" with barely enough space for the double beds. Would have been nice to have a table to put belongings on. The beds took a little time to get used to. But for the cost of the room, you can't go wrong.

The surrounding areas were pretty and we were disappointed that our room had aboslutely no view of the environment. We also didn't appreciate that two "queens" were really two doubles.

Stayed one night 12/14/12. Excellent customer service. Room 304 Summerhouse looked brand new. Comfortable queen bed in the one bedroom condo. Almost totally empty resort due to the time of year.

We loved our room once we finally found it. I was surprised by how difficult it was to navigate the complex and figure out which building we were supposed to stay in. We had to call staff twice for help (which actually led us in the wrong direction) and ultimately had to track down someone from housekeeping to show us which building we were looking […] for. The hotel and surrounding area is beautiful. The restaurant food was very good as well as the restaurant service. The indoor pool was a plus. The breafkast buffet was especially nice. We also enjoyed having a Starbucks on site. The only drawback was the room. It was very cramped - 2 beds, no chairs, no table. Need to update furniture and beds (old & not comfortable) in our unit. But each unit is individually owned so could vary. Otherwise very nice. Amenities at resort are great!

This place is great. Great location, very quiet, amazing beach, nice staff, really clean room. The only negative I can say is that while laying in the hammocks they have by the summerhouses there are alligators all over the place. They are small but just be careful of those areas if you have small children or little dogs.

The grounds are breathtakingly beautiful, and the setting is sublime. It has great proximity to shops, restaurants and attractions. Brookgreen Gardens, a world-class sculpture garden, is only a mile from the hotel. Murrells Inlet has the world's best seafood, and is only a mile further. They had no soap dish in the bathroom so you had to just put the soap on the counter. The coffee packet was empty and they had styrofoam cups. I prefer glasses and mugs.

Its an attractive complex, but very confusing with all those narrow one way roads out front. Overall good room but the door between rooms allows noise from next room though. They were up til 2am and yelling and slamming doors, running down halls. Also the no table and chairs issue that's been mentioned. But the lack of an entrance into the building […] or any signage to tell you to enter through parking garage was annoying, especially since the check in person highlighted on our map where to park in lot in front of building. This is a beautiful piece of property with a nice pool, private beach, scenic paths, etc. The rooms are in need of updates. The walls were scuffed, water damage was evident from a vent near the patio door, chairs and sofa needed cleaning (stains). Very friendly staff, clean rooms. The only negative was having a room with a connecting door to the neighbor who had a baby that woke us up crying in the middle of the night. Otherwise, perfect stay!

The walk to the beach is not far if you are not staying in the rooms right on the beach. The pool is nice and the staff were all very friendly. Next time I go I will look at the beachside rooms - current prices are not that much more for the beachside rooms!

It is a great place to stay for a weekend. The hotel is not new but it is well maintained. They have a lot of free service such as sauna, hot tub, indoor and outdoor pool, outside pool for kids, and shouted to the beach. Overall the place was awesome.

Litchfield By The Sea is a wonderful resort. They have gated and ungated areas and all have access to the gated area and the beach. I stayed in the ungated area since I was to be there only one night. There was a full kitchen, small dining area, ample living area and a separate bedroom and bath. I will stay with them on my next visit.

Litchfield was a great experience for us. Even rainy days did not blunt the time spent there. The grounds are very well planned and kept. There was really nothing that could be classified as negative about the place or the staff.

It was perfect for us because we gave our Condo at Cambridge to our daughters and their families. We were close and spent time with them. We have gone to the Hampton Inn in the past but liked your price and facilities much better except no free breakfast. we will be back. Thank you very much.
