Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Airport — Paisley

Service at Reception - Excellent. Very helpful, cheerful and polite. Overall experience - super. Only downside - noise from workers on scaffolding @ 3.30am. Outwith your control. Other than that - most comfortable stay.

The stay was fine, this hotel is just an easy walk across a street from the airport. Great if you arrive late and just want to stay until morning to catch another flight. The breakfast was good.

Fairly basic, and room a little small for 2 adults & 2 kids - however location is perfect, and for what we paid with breakfast included no complaints at all.

hotel was perfect, only problem was the work being done on the bridge beside hotel but when in our room you couldnt hear anything from outside! will definutly stay again, breakfast was excellent

Stayed her in April for ne night, hotel very clean and breakfast a great bonus, staff were pleasent and helpful and had great nights sleep , two min walk to airport. Would definately stay here again even if i wasnt flying out of the airport as its just as handy to stay here if your travelling down south.

Unbelievable !! We were in SCOTLAND on HOGMANAY and the Holiday Inn Express Glasgow Airport closed the bar at midnight !!! Were we disappointed- Only a bit !1

this is the 2nd time i have stayed here and both times i have been disappointed. The room was freezing cold all night even when i turned off the air con as soon as i went in. there was a notice in the bathroom saying if you had left anything they would help you out shavers, shaving cream, etc so i asked for 2 toothbruses and they didnt have any they […] were waiting on stock(i asked this both times and got told the same). the rate was good and you get a free breakfast which was cold but i think i would invest in a better hotel next time. During my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express (Glasgow Airport) business trip for two days. I found the room very drafty - not sure how the aircon vents are setup?? The restuarant food was well be low the expected standard. On the first night I ordered a steak - this was cold and the garnish looked like it had seen better days. To top this up there […] is also the contant lurking around of hotel staff (quite polite) but I don't expect to be asked "Is everything ok" every five minutes. Probably a training issue!!. It filled our needs perfectly. We particularly appreciated that you gave us no 'freebies' - soap etc.. \very sensible. We found it quite difficult to locate the premises. Better directions would be helpful for first time users so that no confusion with "Holiday Inn".

A really convenient, comfortable stopover before our early morning flight. Just a walk to the terminal, no hassle with bus transfers. Very clean, great cooked breakfast, buffet-style. Staff very helpful.

Hotel is a 2 minute walk from terminal and is very conveneint. Rooms are tiny and the restaurant is grossly overpriced for the quality of the food. Breakfast,however, is nice and included.

Clean. Friendly. Walk to airport. Room is pretty small for 4 people.

I was asked to pay the full amount at check-in and it was late night I was not sure if Hotel.com has charged me so I paid... days later when I checked my bank and I found out that I was double charged. It was quite a worry if I didn't manage to check my bank statement in time, or if I was too busy and forgot then I could have lost 120 pounds. As a […] customer, if you think you have paid, ask them to double check. Or bring a print of the payment confirmed sheet from Hotel.com with you, otherwise you may get into the same trouble I got myself into. Think the Hotel.com booking system is not in sync with some of the hotel reservation system, and they cannot see whether this room reservation is paid or not. Something to improve here! This hotel was great just because it was about a two minute walk to the airport terminal. But I wouldn't stay there for any other reason than its convenience. The beds were comofortable, but the hotel was so loud from people coming in and out that we didn't sleep much. There was free internet but only in the lobby where it was soo slow that it wasn't […] really usable. But the staff did print out our flight documents which was nice. Left the hotel before breakfast, but it sounded good. The room was a little wierd - had to leave your card in a slot for the electricity to work, and the wakeup call was via the television. The hotel was very nice - the lobby/restaurant/bar area was much more than I'd expected. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but was good. The room was acceptable, although the view of the freeway was not very picturesque. But we chose it for proximity to the airport, not the view, and in that regard it was fabulous. They were good about giving us a baby cot (crib) […] and we were on a floor with other kids, so ours wasn't the only one protesting bedtime - made it easier to bear. My only criticism is that no one told us you had to put your door key card into a slot to be able to turn on the room's lights, but once that was straightened out it was great. Uzziniet vairāk

Very comfortable hotel, just a few minutes easy walk to airport terminal. Breakfast included. Cereals, pastries etc. Also tired looking sausages and scrambled eggs at 6.30am?

With a late arrival and an early departure the location within walking distance of the terminal was the best thing about the hotel. Cost also reasonable and breakfast (modest but adequate) included which was useful. Biggest problem was that wakeup call tied to the television with first a missing remote and then one which didn't control all the commands […] we needed to activate the call. Also the remote would not actually turn off the hotel nor would the power button. We finally found a solution but, at midnight, this wasn't fun. Hotel was well placed but the first room we were in had a faulty shower that would not work. The staff were great at relocating us but the second room was next to the elevator which was very noisy. This made it difficult to get enough sleep for our early morning flight.

We flew in after dark and initially set off walking in the wrong direction with our luggage having been totally misinformed about the location of our hotel on the airport map emailed to us by Hotels.com. After seeking help at the unrelated Holiday Inn nearby we eventually found our hotel. Fortunately it was not raining that evening. The clerk on duty […] at reception had not encountered the faulty map before which he copied to show to his manager. At our request we were given a quiet 3rd floor room away from the motorway. One problem we noted was a bad smell from the drains in the bathroom. The wake up call worked well by switching on the television and turning it up progressively instead of a phone call. We enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, pleasant and helpful. Although we did not take breakfast, due to our early flight departure, the facilities seemed to suit the requirements had we been able to partake.

Everything was nice and perfect. Too bad we only stayed one night.

Don't expect to get a sleep here. It is like sleeping on the M8. Traffic thundering past all night and noisy guests having loud discussions throughout the night. Staff were very pleasant but hotel needs to have upgrade to provide soundproofing !

I found the hotel to be very convenient to the airport. My room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. The included breakfast bar in the morning was appreciated since my flight was early. I will stay at this hotel again during my future travels to Scotland.

Great Hotel, minutes walk from Airport, Staff were excellent, only comment would be the meals were expensive for what you got. Would definatley stay here again.

this will fit the bill if you dont care too much aqbout the medium food and the wee telly everything was fine and dandy but no fringes good enough value but wifi should be free everywhere in hotel

Lovely hotel, helpful staff and nice attention paid to details in the room. I was a bit concerned when I realised that our family room was next to the elevator, however my concerns were quickly resolved when in the room, as the noise from the lift was not noticable. Complimentary breakfast was a bonus when traveling with a family of 4.

Everything I expected for this chain - and with the breakfast included a better value than the Holiday Inn itself. No hesitation in planning to use this hotel for my future trips to Glasgow Airport

We stayed at this hotel as we knew how close it was to the terminal and we had to be there for 5.00am. We paid more than for other hotels in the immediate area purely for convenience of distance. Room was fine though beds a bit hard. Food was bog standard and ridiculously expensive, as was drink. With a bottle of wine the cost was over £40 for a very […] basic meal. The annoying thing was that we were told breakfast was from 6.00, by which time we were long gone, nobody mentioned there was cereal and tea/coffee available before 6.00 for people leaving early. They sofa where one should sleep was in terriable shape, but the other bed fine

Easy to find by road. Next to rental car pick-up/drop-off point. Next to gas-station. Severe smell of food in reception area. Slow and in-efficient reception. Clean and quit room - a bit small - but OK for the price. Breakfast extremely poor. Chose to starve.

Not much more you could expect or ask for...nice to be able to walk to airport instead of waiting for a shuttle. Wish there was free WI FII and convenient fast food nearby but this hotel worked perfect for a late night arrival.

While the hotel was convenient to airport, the rooms lacked in amenities. The Holiday Inn Express in the Uk are not as comparable as those in the U.S.

This is the most convenient airport hotel we have ever stayed at. It is right next to the rental cars and a short walk to the terminal. We had an early departure so did everything the night before and walked to the terminal in the morning. Everything in the hotel is spotless. My complaints are as follows: First, the food is outrageously expensive. We […] walked to the airport to eat. Next, they don't let you print boarding passes at the hotel. That seems like it should be a given, even if they made you pay for the paper. I would stay here again however because it is so clean and convenient. It was somewhat hard to find, at night in the rain, and the window did not open enough to cool the room.

Great location if you have an early flight from Glasgow, but not much else around this location. But, we walked to the terminal from the hotel which made it easy to catch our flight.
