Comfort Suites — Columbus

Was very pleased about the closeness of the Celeste Center. We were there for daughter's college graduation from Columbus State Community College. The hotel was also within 10 minutes of her College and her apartment in downtown Columbus. Very clean and very satisfied!!!

When we first checked in they gave us a room that was already occupied. When I went back to the front desk to let them know another guest had the same problem. When we got our new room there was empty water bottles underneath the drawers and empty chip bags in the drawer. generally a good value, breakfast was better than expected, free wireless internet was fast and reliable, room was noticeably cooler than hallway and beds are HARD!

The neighborhood around Crew stadium isn't the nicest in town but we wanted to be close to the arena so we chose to stay. We were pleasantly surprised about many things. 1. Our room was LARGE!! 2. The hotel was clean and well maintained 3. It was very quiet. We would definitely stay in this hotel again!

This is a nice hotel We especially liked the pool the water was nice and warm you could actually enjoy being in there, the rooms are nice the beds are just a bit soft for our taste even my daughter flipped and flopped around as she couldn't get comfortable, They have a great breakfast just have to learn how to keep the eggs and sausage warm however […] they did have a microwave so you could heat it up. The staff was friendly and but English was not their first language so you had to speak slower with some of them and they messed up our key card so we had to stand in the hallway while my husband went down 3 flights to get it fixed. This hotel was great! The staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was larger than expected (and yummy), the room was clean and cozy, and the amenities were better than anticipated. My boyfriend and I are planning a family trip to the same location and I will be booking with this hotel again! Highly recommended!

The room was clean and big. Beds were nice and comfortable. Breakfast was substantial and welcome. The bathroom was odd - water didn't get very hot and the shower curtain was too short for the tub, so water spilled out onto the floor with every shower.

Hotel was better than expected and well worth the price of stay. The rooms are very large and well kept. It's not in the greatest area of town, but there were no issues there.

It was a comfortable room, but the floors were quite filthy, and our toilet was broken when we arrived. The staff was very pleasant and fixed the toilet within a few hours of us informing them. There were questionable stains on the couch, and my socks were trashed from the dirt on the floor. I was there for an one night stay. The hotel was out of the way, which was not a problem for me. Close to the highways. The staff was nice and efficient. The room itself was great. The bed very comfortable. It was perfect for my daughter and my one night stay.

Dirt everywhere. Outdated. Hotel staff unfriendly. Breakfast awful. Man in next room coughed all nite and kept us awake- dont put people in adjoining rooms unless there is a way to block the noise from the adjoining room.

I was satisfied with the stay and the accomodations. The reason for the overall grading score was because of fraudulent charges that showed up on my debit card after getting home from my family reunion over labor day weekend. The hotel staff became a little upset when I asked why a carbon copy was being taken of my card. At that time I informed the […] young lady that the copying of my card makes it easier for someone to fraud me. She became a bit upset that I had made the accusation. I kept insisting that I was not happy. About 3 to 4 days later, I checked my account and noticed that I had almost 900.00 in addionatal charges on my account that were not mine from various stores in the malls. I'm still currently in the process of retifying the charges and I have contacted the coporate office and the location regarding prosecution. This should not happen and carbon copying of credit cards is something that was performed in the 80's. This day in age that should not occur and the corporate office agreed. Hotel was nice and clean. Checkin was quick. Breakfast is wonderful. My only complaint is that on my last day my access card was not working and I could not get into the Fitness room. Staff fixed this but then around 10am taking items to the car, my access card to the room did not work and they had to fix that. Last time I stayed at this hotel, back in June, the room was infested with ants. I made sure to notify management of the problem and they asked me to give them another chance and I am glad I did ! My room was quite clean and comfortable and we had a wonderful stay! I will not hesitate to return!

Overall the experience was pleasant. I did not take advantage of many of the amenities, including the pool and breakfast, but the rooms were nice. The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly.

arrived soaking wet in a rain storm on motorcycles. The clerk was very nice and accomodating in helping us secure parking places undercover for the bikes. She made the night!

Everyone in the hotel was very attentive and courteous. We were looking for a pet-friendly hotel close to OSU. My dog cannot walk well so I had requested a room with easy access for her do her business. They had everything set when we arrived. I could not ask for anything else. I will definitely use this hotel again.

I was disappointed in our stay. The comforter on the bed had cigarette burns in it and the closet door would not open and close. The room was not as clean as the Comfort Suite rooms we had stayed in before and the soaps and shampoos were like the ones in cheaper motels. We checked in and our safe didn't work, the next morning breakfast ended at 9:00 AM but the food ran out at 8:30. After a hot day we came back to a room that was not cleaned, housekeeping forgot us... Very disappointed. The last morning the breakfast food was basically gone be 8:00 and the person responsible never came and checked on anything. On the first floor he doors to the guests room all seemed to have water damage on the bottoms. The rooms were surprisingly clean and smelled fine (no mildew). The breakfast was very good with a variety of options.

Hotel was listed as 2.1 miles from Ohio State Stadium....it was much further than that. Not in a very nice neighborhood. Would not venture out to walk to any local attractions. Strange smell to hotel...either from pets or past smoking. Nice pool. Breakfast was good.

I stayed here with two friends while in town for a trade show. Staying here was much cheaper than staying downtown but only about 5 minutes away from the convention center.
