Montaneros Condominiums — Vail

Pros: Wonderful service by staff, great location, nice view of slopes, kitchen well stocked w quality tools/pots/pans, open living area in condo, very clean in all areas. Cons: Motel quality bathroom (terrible showerhead, cheap hard-to-close shower curtain, poor water pressure, etc), Mismatched neon yellow paint on kitchen cabinets/walls, basic generic […] furniture and artwork. Overall, comfortable accommodations and great service/location but didn't match up with 'platinum' hotel status or price per night. STRONGLY preferred Antlers at Vail for less money and much more luxury look/feel. Stayed there the same time in 2011 and was very impressed. Uzziniet vairāk

Great rooms and location. Although our reservation was not what we booked through hotels.com, the management was able to accommodate us. The staff was helpful and friendly. We would stay there again!

Great place, great location with a friendly staff.

This condo was fabulous. We stayed a second night because we were so happy and comfortable here. The grounds have beautiful flowers and are well-maintained. The condo itself was very large, modern and updated. The kitchen had gorgeous cabinets, appliances and granite countertops. The bus that shuttles people around all of Vail has a stop directly in […] front of the Montaneros, so transportation could not be more convenient. Every balcony has a large, new barbecue. There were 6 of us staying in this 2-bedroom condo (4 adults and 2 small children) and we had plenty of space. Our only complaint was that none of the condos have air conditioning. This was not something that I would ever think to ask about. I understand that in the mountains you probably don't often need air conditioning, but when you do need it -- you WANT it. It was warm and we were told to open all the windows and use the fans in the closets. Opening the windows in the bedrooms was not really an option since they opened right out onto the hallway and therefore you had no privacy or security. Great location, an easy walk to the gondola in ski boots with skis. Very helpful staff -- they made dinner reservations for us and were helful overall. Room well-appointed with views of the mountain. Would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay in these beautiful condos and would stay again. The location was very convenient as the bus stops right outside and short distance to Vail Village or easy walk to anything in Lionshead. Every person on duty at the desk went out of their way to be helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Lionshead.

We stayed here for a weekend in July and had a wonderful time. They're still doing major construction right next door (and I do mean RIGHT next door), but we were there on a weekend, so there wasn't any activity. While our view included the construction site, it was still a great condo with lots of space (2 BR/2 BA), fireplace and a good-sized balcony […] with a grill that we used to cook burgers. The pool/hot tub area is great and they even have a big box full of pool toys for the little ones. I agree with the others that the condo staff was excellent -- very friendly and welcoming. You can't beat the location and the free shuttle system is excellent. While it's still on the pricey side, even with the construction, we couldn't find anything better with all the amenities and the fabulous location. It was well worth it and we'd DEFINITELY stay there again. Uzziniet vairāk
