"Very nice break from a hotel"
What a nice place to stay when in NO. We wanted to stay a few days on our cross country business/leisure trip. My young son was thrilled with the attention he got from the owner Joe and area restaurant recommendations were great. We travel a lot and this was a really nice break from Hilton land. We will definitely stay there again!

St. Charles Avenue is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in the United States. The Avenue B&B is well situated on the street car line that runs the length of St. Charles Avenue to Canal Street and the French Quarter. The B&B is in an old building, but it is immaculately kept and very comfortable. The owners live on premesis, and our visit started […] with a fifteen minute orientation by the owners (helped along by a gigantic warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie) making recommendations for places to enjoy New Orleans cuisine and setting the ground rules for the shared space inside the B&B. There is free of- street parking behind the B&B, and the street car is just a few steps away. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found it to be an outstanding value. Uzziniet vairāk
"Home on the Road"
We love this B & B and will stay again! The owners are great and very helpful. The room was huge, very clean, and filled with antiques. Breakfast is simple but plenty and there are snacks and fresh fruit available in the dining room at all times. Right on the streetcar line, a close walk to great restaurants, and a short trip to the French Quarter. […] We especially loved the request for quiet after 10 pm--it was nice to be able to sleep and not have to listen too revelers in the next room.
