another great experience in the cortijo blanco. have stayed in other hotels in the area but this is the one i keep going back to. cant beat the price for what you get with accom, service etc. Wouldnt think of staying anywhere else :)

Classic Spanish design, basic rooms need updating and maybe wifi more widely available, but other than that can't fault it for the price you pay. Good selection of food and drink in all inclusive. Good mix of families/hen/stag parties. And quiet areas if you want to avoid it. 6e in a cab from the port or walked in 20mins. Surrounding bars not expensive […] either when the hotel bar closes. The first time we stayed at this hotel was a few years ago. we travel to the area a few times a year and wouldnt think of staying anywhere else. In fact we will book the flights around whatever dates we can book the hotel for. we have always found the service and the staff excellent. we are very happy with it :)

Unfortunately the hotel is situated on the wrong side of major roadworks which will also leave it on the wrong side of a major new road when completed. The staff were very helpful but the buildings rooms and amenities were in pretty poor condition.

Overall, we were very impressed by the service of the staff at this All Inclusive Hotel. there was ample choice at every meal - you would have to be very picky not to find something to eat; usually 12 different items on the buffet, including fish, meat, veg, as well as a full salad bar (and soup available). Bar staff were very friendly, no problem speaking […] English (shame on us), or if you wanted to try your Spanish. The grounds are very pretty and the pool was very clean. There is a courtesy bus to Porto Banus, specific times, used it one way and walked back along the seafront. Also very convenient for the bus into Marbella - Euro1.16 each way when we went; lovely in the old town. Only faults - the beds were a bit hard, and other guests chose to be very loud when coming in late, but not the hotel's fault. We had a short break at half term, and would recommend it. Hotel was very pretty. But facilities very basic. Only one bar for a hotel this size is very surprising. Rooms are very basic and so was food. It met our needs as it was handy for staying whilst visiting family in the area. Service received from reception was very good.

Read a few reviews and was a bit doubtful but just wanted a short flight from southampton and a relaxing AI hotel. Hotel was very pretty, typical spanish white washed buildings with beautiful flowers and bushes. Rooms were basic but clean and had air con which some reviews have said there isnt. Entertainment wasent the best but it was something to watch/listen […] to. Food was ok, not all to my taste but i always found something i liked and could eat, never went hungry. Pool area nice and you can reserve your sunbed, its like a free for all when they open the pool in the morning with people putting there towels on the sunbeds. Its in a very quiet area but all i wanted was a short relaxing sunny holiday and thats what i got. There is a bar across the road open till around 3 am and a nightclub next door but didnt seem busy, although i never went to it. Drinks at pool bar are ok and are available from 10am till midnight, also help your self to coffee at the bar as well. Supermarket a 2min walk away, dont go to the little shop by buddies bar , coke and snacks much cheaper at supermarket. Very nice hotel, good room, good food, nice staff, drinks were also good, very good value, lot of Spanish families at weekend we were there but nice enough people. The hotel is beautiful. It looks like what I thought hotels in Spain should look like all white with gardens every where. The hotel had trouble with overbooking when we arrived and placed us down the road but corrected the problem next day. Food was very bland and cafeteria style. Simply sucks, i've been in motel that is far advance than that for a 3 star hotel, no phone service, no vending machines services after midnight, upon going to complain at the desk about the phone service, one of the guest from England was reporting is lap top being stolen broad daylight, and the front desk personnel pulled out a notebook and made a […] report with no sense of urgency, never in my life saw something likr that. Nice , rustic Spanish style hotel.But not in a great location due to massive road works going on.Local transport is very hit and miss.Food at hotel was good we were half board , most guest were all inclusive.Drink served in plastic glasses didnt appeal to us so headed to Buddies bar next door were you got your drink in proper glasses.The rooms of hotel […] surround the entertainment area so if you want an early night bring your earplugs as it goes on pretty late.We have always gone to Fuengirola and surrounding areas and find this a better location with transport and more to do do.But if you are happy to stay within the hotel complex i.e have a young family then its the place for you.You can do your own transfer by going to Marbella bus station and getting the airport bus to Malaga. airport for 5 euros. This is a difficult hotel to review. Some positives - like the grounds and the pool are well kept and the general external appearance is quite good. The value is ok. The food is acceptable. The drinks in the all inclusive package seemed to be of good quality. But there are a number of notes of caution. I didn't get off to a good start, with 4 disappointments […] in the first 10 minutes. I'd chosen the hotel based on the normal facility review... and knew I needed internet and car parking. But 'internet in public areas' was not the WiFi I'd anticipated... but two coin operated computers (one broken) - which were totally, totally inadequate for a full hotel. And of course you cannot get USB connections to get files in or out of such machines - which for me, was crucial. And as for the free car parking... Well yes it was there, but again totally inadequate. Perhaps 30 spaces - not once in the 4 days did I ever see a single free space, so you are left to find car parking on the narrow streets that surround it. But this was easily found within about 300-500 yards, so not a big issue if you're mobile.. So that's parking and the internet... the other 2 disappointments were the condition of the room... the bathroom was in a shabby state, though overall seemed reasonably clean. And the other was the stupid coloured bracelet that is fitted to your wrist when you check in. People who are seasoned 'all-inclusive' travellers might be used to this, but this was a shock to me. I felt like a tagged criminal .Mine lasted one day, then I cut it off and simply taped it back together when I needed it for food or drink. Actually, I'd have been better booking half board or B&B because my family are not big consumers of food and drink. Food was buffet style. Not really spanish. Acceptable quality. The range of menu was perhaps a bit smaller to hotels of comparable size. Single rooms requested one room was dark small and depressing Rooms have no air con or fans very very hot. Requested room change at 1.30.a.m. very tired shown three more unsuitable rooms one of the rooms the door wouldn't close got stuck half way across another on the main road which was so busy and noisy another one no balcony eventually one room seemed […] suitable and was accepted but on the following evening music was belching out from the loud speakers and you could not hear yourself speak and this usually went on till 12 night but the noise continues until at least 1 to 1.30.a.m if you are situated around the pool area. Around room No 56 Pool area there is a small of sewarae although people were asking for room changes reception still allocated these rooms to new arrivals knowing full well there was a problem Food always hot and no complaints Road works being carried out in front of the hotel. This is a major road carrying a lot of traffic day and night very noisy. everything was perfect from start to end. we have stayed here before on holidays and always found it great value. the food was excellent and the staff were friendly. the only thing that would be nice is air conditioning.....apart from that i have no hesitations in staying here again and again. thanks for everything :)

The hotel is on the edge of the village and the beach area is being reconstructed which made it look tatty. Hotel muy viejo en el que no han invertido un euro; las instalaciones exteriores son preciosas, pero dentro de la habitación lo que se rompe no se repone, se deja tal cual hasta que se convierte en destartalado; encontramos un bote de champú en la ducha de los ocupantes anteriores y unas botas debajo de la cama; por las noches un ruido infernal, la […] gente a grito pelado por los pasillos (tuvimos que llamar a recepción para que nuestra hija pudiera dormir; solucionaron el problema en minutos, la verdad); tienen animación con orquesta por las noches cuyo cantante no recuerda que tiene un micrófono y grita para que lo oigan en Covadonga, con lo cual es difícil conciliar el sueño a no ser que estés agotado; los edredones viejos y no muy limpios, igual que las mantas; el aparcamiento escasísimo para lo gigante que es el hotel, lo que es un fastidio sobre todo por las noches, ya que hace que tengas que dar vueltas por los alrededores; muy bueno el desayuno, abundante y rico. Lo mejor: la atención del personal, muy amable, educado y sonriente siempre. Rigtig dejligt hotel med all inclusive og god underholdning for både børn og voksne. Dog er det primært englændere og spaniere som er på hotellet, hvilket gjorde at vores søn ikke forstod så meget, men han hyggede sig og vi havde alle en dejlig ferie tæt på Puerto Banus.

The Room was small and very basic, but served its purpose. In an All-inclusive Hotel, the Food is a important factor. We found the Food to be OK. A lot of different Dishes, some of them pretty good. Of course not all Food was to our taste and some of it was Bland. Dishes containing Vegetables are awful due to the continued heating at the Buffet. But […] overall the Food is approved. The Pool areas are good, with the Pool bar close to the main Pool. The Pools are closed due to cleaning until 9 AM (sometimes 9.15) which makes it difficult to go swimming before Breakfast. But nobody can get up early and leave Towels, which is good. The Hotel has Entertainment every night, most of it pretty good and with good variety. There is a lot of noise until 2 AM from a Bar just outside the Hotel. The Hotel has some maintenance issues on some of the public Toilettes, that wasn't fixed in the 2 weeks we stayed there. El complejo es muy pintoresco, al estilo andaluz , con ese plaza tipo andaluz que es donde mas tiempo te tiras con el bar y cervezas para qui cervezas para ya no esta nada mal, las actuaciones pasables lo que eche de menos es la animacion para los niños algo sositas, la psicina estabamos como latas , estoy acostumbrado piscinas con cantidad de cesped […] , la restauracion ajustaita lo bueno para los que comen cantidad que sobrelas 12 y las 6 de la tarde hay piquislabis. Ett bra hotell för barnfria par eller såna som inte vill ha så mycket party. Mycket aktiviteter för vuxna dock är det inget partyhotell. Vill man ha disco och röj får man leta sig till annat ställe. Hade all inclusive men tyckte att maten blev lite för tjatig efter några dagar, dock var den serverade maten god. Rekommenderar att se omgivningen till […] fots, det finns mycket att se för den som orkar ta en promenad och skippa lyxshoppingen och upplev istället den äkta spanska atmosfären i det närbeliggande San Pedro. Väldigt nöjda otroligt mycket för pengarna, rejäla buffeer som tyvärr inte är någon kulinarisk höjdare men visst hittar man alltid nåt. Bra underhållning o har man hel pension som vi inte hade så ingick även sprit o öl!! Bra läge mitt vid A7. Hotel muy bonito y acondicionado. Las actuaciones de la noches muy buenas y entretenidas. La única pega es que los jardineros a las 8 de la mañana hacen mucho ruido con las maquinas y te despiertan, pero bueno, en general muy bien, lo recomiendo a todo el mundo. El año que viene seguramente iré de nuevo.

Hotel ziet er prachtig uit met diverse binnenplaatsen. Voor kinderen diverse activiteiten en 's avonds mogelijkheid om op gezellige binnenplaats wat te drinken. Strand met mooie boulevard (veel palmen en gras, geen winkels) op 10 min. lopen. Het zwembad was voor ons te druk. In verhouding te weinig ruimte in en om het bad voor de aanwezige mensen.
