Good clean hotel run by fine helpful people. Looking forward to my next stay !!

On booking in, Hayley behind front desk was so helpful and cheerful made my stay most enjoyable

Clean, comfortable hotel of high standard. Bar menu overpriced, ( £16 for pie and cry) plus we had to return one meal as we found a splinter of wood in it. This subsequently put us off eating, which was a shame as it spoilt our evening.

Mouldy shower curtain, mould around bathroom tiles, rotten skirting’s and wet carpet where the plumbing had been leaking under the bath for, what looked like, some considerable time. Food was extortionately expensive, nearly £10 for a sandwich with a small choice of main meals. Fish was dry and over cooked the first night. Steak was inedible the second […] night. Didnt think that the staff were friendly at all. Hotel was old fashioned and dull. Breakfast in the morning was a shambles, not much food left, and whatever was there was burnt or hard.

The whole hotel experience was first class. The room was everything it should have been, the desk experience excellent, and the food at the bar was reasonably priced and of good quality. The complementary breakfast was excellent. Altogether an exceptional 'value for money' package.

i wouldnt recommend this hotel at all. The token breakfast is rubbish, the rooms are not very comfortable. the only thing good about this place is the location.

We were in the area for a family event so didn't spend too much time in the hotel. Room was spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, usual tea/coffee, hairdryer etc. Breakfast was slighty scrappy but to be fair we arrived quite late. Hotel was very plush and service was friendly. Room was modern with useful implements such as kettle and ironing facilities but had an antiqated "old style" tv set. Gym had nice facilities such as sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool as well as fitness room but one of the 2 communal showers did not work as did the jacuzzi. regular maintenance required […] me thinks! Bar meal took nearly 50 mins to arrive (it was a simple meal) and as the bar was quite empty this was an unacceptable wait. Nice hotel, friendly staff, good facilities bit in need of improvement. Modern, well maintained hotel, well appointed rooms, comfortable and clean. Friendly staff, good restaurant, reasonable menu, good service, excellent food ( as Hotels go!). VALUE!

A lovely hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in a standard room with our two year old. Slight confusion over whether or not we needed a travel cot, but sorted out very efficiently. Lovely leisure facilities. Nice breakfast. Would recommend

We stayed at this hotel for a short break (4 nights) as it was central and within 25 miles of the places we wished to visit including Woburn and Warwick. This is a modern two story hotel with all the amenities that you would expect. Our room was clean and comfortable and a decent size with a giant double bed. Breakfast was a typical all you can eat […] buffet, with a good selection of cereals, fruit and a "full english" fry-up. We did not use the restaurant for an evening meal as there were some excellent canal-side pubs within a short drive that served excellent reasonably priced food. Uzziniet vairāk

The Barcelo is a very upscale hotel. It has a wonderful bar, nice reception area, and pleasant and relatively helpful staff. My two problems were being charged for a breakfast without being told I was being charged and the cost of internet. For the price of the room, wired or wireless internet should be available free of charge, even if it is just in […] the reception/bar. Would I stay there again? Yes. It's too convenient for visiting Daventry not to stay there, but next time I will review my bill and reservation to make sure there are no surprises. Uzziniet vairāk

thsi is an excellent hotel with friendly and efficient staff. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need in a hotel room from Tea & coffee to iron and ironing board. The choice at breakfast of cereals , fresh fruit, and hot food could not be faulted.

The receptionist was helpful and polite. The room was spacious and well fitted out and clean. The breakfast was great. Would definitely go again. 10/10.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Reception, Housekeeping & Spa staff really knew their customer service skills.Nothing was too much trouble & found although I only booked a standard double room, I got the little extras provided (Shuh don't tell anyone!). Also was greeted at the spa & allowed to look around before use with a guided introduction; towel […] & locker provided. Pool & spa facilities were great for chilling out. Everywhere was very clean including the areas that had heavy traffic. Food in restaurant was tasty & well-presented. Have stayed at several Barcelo hotels before & this is most definitely near the top of my list. Negatives were not greatly signposted in Daventry so in the dark took a little time to find. Tried to book restaurant on 2nd night but got told they were quite busy & could only offer me 8.45pm which was rather late. There wasn't that many people dining that night so wondered what service would be like if they were very busy. However used the food service in the bar which made up for the let down. This is an ideal place to escape to, visiting family or are on business. (Daventry town unfortunately has suffered a little but people there are friendly & are trying to make a go of things) Uzziniet vairāk

Stayed overnight whilst visiting local festival. Booked 2 rooms on BB deal for 2 adults and 2 children. Hotel wanted to charge £6.50 extra for childrens breakfast but they did waive this. Rooms were spacious and clean and relatively quiet although all the doors bang when they close, which was disturbing at 3 am when a wedding party were returning to […] adjacent rooms. We made use of the swimming pool. Restaurant food was good value and quality was fine. Tighter restrictions on how to access pay per view films are needed as my children accessed them easily without us knowing! Would consider staying again if in the area. Uzziniet vairāk

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel as we were very near where my husband's cousins live so it was very handy. The room was extremely clean and all staff were very friendly! I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Udmærket standard og meget imødekommende personale. Rolige omgivelser og god placering i forhold til mange af områdets større byer.

Hotel met goede voorzieningen, zoals ook een Health Club met zwembad, sauna, etc. Dit is een mooie manier om de dag actief te vullen als er geen andere plannen zijn. Goed restaurant met afwisselend menu, elke avond anders, en ook voor vegetariërs is er keuze. Naastliggende bar met groot scherm TV, uitstekend voor voetbal kijken en een hapje en een drankje. […] De koffiebar is aan te bevelen. Internet-toegang kost geld via "huis-provider", of anders bij de receptie om een bon vragen voor gratis WiFi-toegang in de lobby. Naar mijn mening zou elk hotel volledig kosteloos internet moeten aanbieden, maar in Europa is men nog niet zover als in de VS. Uzziniet vairāk
