Guest House Villa Castiglione — Florence

We loved it! It is not in the center of the city but in car it only takes 10 minutes to the center. The views are absolutely beautiful, you really feel in Tuscany. It has a pool and a beautiful patio where they have events that you can go to. We had a concert on one of the night that we stayed there and our room was the closest to the event and we couldn't […] hear anything. We obviously opened the windows because we wanted to listen to the music, but when closed, the room is very well insulated. This is a nice spacious hotel with large rooms. Staff was helpful even letting me use their computer. It's hard to find, needed to ask directions twice. Sits on a hill with great views. The little town below has a good restaurant. Very peaceful, but not too close to Florence. It was a nice stay. Modernistic furnishings. Very nice though.

I found out the address of the hotel is not 100%correct. it still in florence area. so if you using GPS, find the address under florence not impruneta. address is Via Di Colle Ramole 20, florence. Once your GPS can locate it, is easy to find. The location is up on the hill with beautiful view. The room is spacious with nice firm bed. the shower size […] is small, but the bathroom size is average. The hotel is clean and well kept. Hotel staff can speak english. The breakfast is okay. We had dinner at local trattoria, called Vecchia bettola, the food is great, the waiter can speak english. the downfall of this hotel is doesnt have swimming pool. Uzziniet vairāk

Quelques difficultés à trouver la réception par manque de signalisation. L’accueil est chaleureux et le personnel toujours souriant. Je recommande ce lieux à tous ceux qui veulent un lieu calme et à l'écart du tourisme de masse. Une voiture est fortement recommandé car à 10-15 min de Florence.

Personnel très chaleureux et prévenant. Très bonne situation pour une soirée au calme après des journées de visites. Florence à 10 mm en voiture, bus à proximité. Donc très bien.

Utmärkt hotell i alla avseenden. Lätt att komma ner till Florens med bil. Hotellets rum var verkligen stort och högt i tak med hyggligt bra sängar, de är ju oftast för hårda på kontinenten och man får dela på både lakan och täcke, vilket är medeltid för mig. I övrigt bra och välstädat. Vänlig personal och omgivningen var mycket trevlig med tillgång […] till en mindre badbassäng. Frukostbuffén var klart godkänd med goda tillbehör samt färsk frukt. En stor nackdel är att eftersom hotellet inryms i ett gammalt kloster, så finns det ett kyrktorn kvar, som klingar varje halvtimma och startar tidigt på morgonen. Fungerade väldigt effektivt som "väckarklocka", men vem vill vakna klocka sju när man är på semester. I övrigt var det mycket rofyllt. Bortsett från denna irriterande kyrkklocka, så var det ett mycket trevligt boende. Rekommenderas verkligen, men ta med öronproppar, om du inte tillhör de morgontidigas skaror. Uzziniet vairāk
